Still upset that it's a fucking fighting game of all things. The one game genre that would work the worst with the premise.

I saw "CARNAGE" and thought a new Carnage Heart was coming out for a second. Bummer.
>Anime arena brawler #8512
*yawn*
No one talks about it because experience has taught us that anime arena fighting games are garbage to cash in on the popularity on the show and have nothing to show but the charachters, does anyone still play the Boku no Hero Academia fighter or talked about it after 2 weeks of its release? Yeah, thought so.
One Punch Man: A Game Nobody Will Play
>anime fighting game
Of course nobody is talking about it you retard.
>Carnage Heart
You are 10,000% my nigger
>3D anime fighting game
*yawn*
P.much this, I feel like Fighter Z killed most people's hype for arena fighters
>season 2
>now this
What happened Saitama-bros? I think I'ma just stick to the manga/webcomic and not look at anything else.
Who would have guessed nobody wants to talk about yet another effortless arena anime cashgrab?
Seinfeld: A show about nothing
That does seem to be the correct way to enjoy the series. Watch season 1 -> read the manga up until the current chapter -> finish reading up to the current Webcomic chapter
>No one is talking about it
>because the genre is shit
fuck you ,fuck your thread and fuck this game.
Look, the genre might be trash, but at least it's got better animation than Season 2
I am entranced with Pig God's neck (or lack of one).
Not saying much user, just let this threat fall to page 10 and move on
>anime game being made by Bamco
We've been through this episode enough
He's an absolute unit.
No, arena fighters killed people's hype for arena fighters. For some reason, it's the genre that the nips put absolutely zero effort into. They are all bland, generic, out of touch with the source material, probably an asset flip with some "flavor of the month anime" skin on top. At least in fightan games, you can watch all the supers, and still stay cause you like how it feels to use the tech. Arena fighters don't even have that, cause it's probably too hard for those poor overfunded companies to handle in a 3D space. You play a single match, and watch the supers on Jewtube, and you have experienced all 99% of arena fighters have to offer.
This
>there's always a bigger fish
>Still upset that it's a fucking fighting game of all things. The one game genre that would work the worst with the premise.
You're a fucking idiot. You're the reason why developers fall back on these garbage 3D brawlers because they know dipshits like you eat it up. A fighting game would be amazing in the OPM universe, the amount of unique characters they have is enough to fuel a full roster.
Fighting games, in general, are low effort cash grabs. There are very few that aren't. Not even Capcom is producing good fightan' nowadays.
Honestly, any other genre would've been preferable, even Gacha-shit, to a fighting game spinoff of One Punch Man, the series where the premise is that there's a guy who is many million times stronger than the next strongest guy. I, for one, am going to enjoy watching Mumen Rider body Saitama.
The only way I can think of to implement Saitama as a fighter is to have his super meter fill up as a seriousness guage, where his base style is extremely laid back, and slacking. He would need to be handicapped by in-game context.
No. A fighting game would be just as bad and soulless as an anime arena fighter. Even more so. You can't make a character like Tatsumaki or Fubuki work in 2d, let alone an absolute unit like Pig God. Unless you wanted to severely gimp them for the sake of gameplay. Even in this new game, they're resorting to using mostly monsters instead of heroes.
No, the best fit would've been Musou, by far.
I won't even argue against that. Especially once we had fully shifted from 2D to 3D. Skullgirls was a final attempt, but there really haven't been any good ones lately. The Guilty Gear guys have been putting forth the best effort, but nothing that will revive the genre.
And that's another reason why anime games are destined to fail. Autists get so caught up on power levels that they believe game balance should matter because of canon. The best characters in FighterZ are fucking Bardock and Videl is only 2 tiers below.
>Musou, the OTHER shameless stock genre to churn out a cheap game
Damn, this industry is in sorry shape.
And FighterZ is an actual fucking fighting game compared to whatever this garbage will be.
Fuck balance. Let tourneyfags put arbitrary rules for "balance". Some of the most fun fighters were long before the era of patch updates, and had definite optimal selections.
>FighterZ
Fucking sucks though.
>Some of the most fun fighters were long before the era of patch updates
Yeah instead we had to wait a month for the newest cabinet to come in so we can see if they fixed an infinite or a sound glitch.
Even if it's a shit fighting game with terrible netcode and stupid game design, it's a better anime game than anything released this gen.
Probably yeah I don't play fighting games but it's still an actual one which this won't be.
>Have a cast of insanely high powered heroes
>Have a genre where the premise is that you have really strong player characters chewing through swathes of mooks
>Slap them together
>???
>Profit
I agree. The bar is not set very high.
Has anyone confirmed any of the non-dynasty warrior games to be asset flips?
Fighting games are better off now than they were last gen
>musou or arena fighter
>arena fighter
ya ok, why don't you just play one of the xenoverse mods or jump force mods or ninja bukkake storm mods
I've never played a non-Warriors-musou. Dynasty Warriors, Hyrule Warriors, and DQ Warriors were all really good.
>I agree, the bar isn't set very high
I still stand by this statement.
Xenoverse 2 is better.
How many times must we teach you this lesson old man?
Sure if you're a Dragonball fan and also a brainlet who needs to play a game made for morons.
I dunno about that. Street Fighter V and MVC:I are shit, DBFZ got deplatformed when it hit its stride, and that leaves Tekken, Smash, and SamSho. Touhou hasn't had a good fighter since 2011, and anime fighters died out, making way for anime arena fighters.
KT generally does well on everything except map and mission design. In that regard, everything since SW2 and DW4 have been lazy as fuck.
The flip side are the non-senrans from tamsoft/marvelous like nep action unleashed and fate/extella. Anyone who can approach those with a descriptive even resembling "good" isn't a legitimate human being, but some kind of strange marketing bot.
>Last gen was almost exclusively Marvel 3 and SF4
>Maybe Skullgirls
Say what you will about how modern fighting games play but at least some people are branching out
Yeah, and now no one watches the shit shows that are MVC:I and SFV. Last gen was pretty diverse, because it had anime fighters, SFIV, Mahvel, and Melee.
Other then Mahvel the only difference is that Melee and SF4 were replaced
the Black Clover game was fun as fuck. Was pretty much anime TF2/Overwatch. Too bad people only buy the shitty Naruto clones.
What lesson?
a little too late, and i have no interest in any arena game now that's not Kill La Kill
>to play a game made for morons.
Thats FighterZ with its generic inputs for all the characters.
>Take the best manga ever made
>Turn it into a shitty game
Why do they do this?
should have been a musou
>BamCo
And there's why everyone stopped talking after the first week. Because even the fans of exclusively OPM crissboarding here from Yea Forums, who've never before seen what they do to waste every anime license they squat on, realised it's not going to be good.
A fireball motion should be ingrained inside everyone's brain.
That's why I wanted to make the thread. It's obviously a bad idea, and I'm astonished that after the successful season 1, it got nothing, but after the terrible season 2, it's getting a shitty game.
>Saitama functions as a "joke character"
Alright that's kinda funny
>Developed by Spike Chunsoft.
>Makers of such piles of shit like Jump Force, One Piece: Burning Blood, and J-Stars Victory VS
I have no hope for this game.
>the Black Clover game was fun as fuck
No it was shit much like the source of material
I respect your opinion.
I might buy this and Kill la kill (demo was aight) on decent discount, all DLC released...miss me with that Jump Force shit tho.
