I can't get over the meme names in this series.

It could be daddy issues, but I always have enjoyed 100%-ing games, and achievements are just an extension of that. I don't fuck with multiplayer achievements for the most part unless they're super simple. I'm not gonna spend 300 hours playing different dead game modes that I'm not enjoying.

Also to add to this when it comes to why I 100% games at all, I really enjoy seeing everything a game has to offer and spending time in the game world and getting used to the geography and everything. I 100% games I enjoy my time in like Yakuza 0, Persona 5, Nier Automata, Gravity Rush but refuse to bother with most western games and especially any Rockstar games. I platinumed Horizon Zero Dawn but it felt like a bit of a chore.

I'll never understand what's satisfying about completing these menial tasks for a virtual trophy. I just play the game and be done with it. Maybe replay it a couple years down the line when I've forgotten most of it.

NuDoom finally broke me out of achievement autism. I wanted to use mouse aim so bad but I couldn't justify the missed trophies.

Then I realized nobody actually cares about my trophy level. Its liberating. And for those that do care so hard and want to give me shit about "caving into casualization" I'll accept the casual gamer title with pride.

Extra replayability, and only do it for games I really like where it's not an impossible grind. There's literally nothing wrong with trophies and achievements if you're not an autist and feel the need to do things you dont like on games you don't enjoy. Also left.

They're actually fun as fuck if you co OP them with a buddy. Make sure to use short root chalice for them to join at any point of a dungeon. With defiled amy though, make sure that you do that solo. The chalices, especially random ones, are the most interesting and exciting way to play, once you've gone through the game once. They're home to a lot of unique bosses too, with the last one being an amazing fight.
