I dropped it before this thot even shows up
That really isn't saying much
Did anyone else feel like enemies were too close to one another on the field compared to the first game?
pleb status: filtered
Disagree, combat system is both convoluted and boring as fuck
fpbp
Astral Chain is gonna booty blast this game desu senpai.

seriously though, I was 3? acts in and it still hadn't gotten good. I liked the setting and that's about it. I guess the girls make me peepee hard, but everything has waifus these days.

FINNA RIP A SNORT, BROS
>This is the best game on the Switch
Mario Odyssey exists Cuba.
Bruh keep your degenerate weeb shit away from. Any game that requires tits to be a good game isnt a good game.
>Mario Odyssey exists
Yeah and it's shit, your point?
Mario Odyssey is leagues better than the clown shit OP thinks is best switch game
Jumping and collecting garbage sure is better than a complex JRPG with an actual story and characters.
>>slow, largely hands-off combat
it gets better
>>bad companion AI when they're so important
false
>>writing you'd expect to see in Shounen Jump
it gets better
>>random le funny level 80 monkey in the second act is only the start of painful wandering super-monsters
Optional

The reward is the challenge. Also optional.

Adds replayability to the game

It's the best JRPG of the last decade. Cope.
you see the real problem is that JRPGs cured my insomnia
I thought it was an action game of some kind by briefly skimming gameplay videos of the first one
True
jrpgs are non-games
How is a level 80 monkey optional when you can agro it half way across the map.
Poppi's names make so much more sense in japanese
>it gets better 60 hours in!
>It's the best JRPG of the last decade.
I think that says a lot about JRPGs as a whole.
Well you see if you look past the tits, you'll realize xenoblade 2 characters are more flat than fuking game and watch In terms of personality
Games with autocombat shouldn't be a thing outside of mobile games and MMOs. This shit is fucking terrible. If it were a hack and slash with entry level platinum games/capcom tier gameplay it'd actually be a half decent game.
you just suck
she killed TRILLIONS
I beat it last year and forgot all about it. Nobody gives a fuck except waifu fags
AND WILL KEEP KILLING MANY MORE
>take the tits
>girl becomes flat
That's kinda obvious
I like Ultimate the most
SHE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT
I personally ONLY consider RPGs actual games
It gets better because is slowly building to something meaningful (in both gameplay and story), you dumb nigger. It's not like the game changes completely after certain hours.
I'm okay with it
Yeah
I love my wives so much bros
Same
>Like Xenoblade
>finished XBC1
>got to the final fight in XBX and quit because i was going to have to grind more and just wasnt as enthused with that game
>LOVED XBC2 but got distracted on a million other games and stopped around Ch8-ish but REALLY want to finish it.
>Can't remember what the fuck I was doing or anything that was going on or how to play so I'm scared to get back into it
play X again and enjoy it this time
Just avoid it, retard. The map is fuckhuge and enemies just see what's in front of them. Are you a game journalist or something?
She's not a thot!
oh yeah prove it
post her virgin body, naked, to prove it
Game of the generation
1. Just get into a few fights with random mobs and the flow of combat should come back to you. If not, there's many combat tutorials online.
2. You can rewatch cutscenes either on youtube or the in-game event theatre from the title screen
>Just avoid it, retard. Are you a game journalist or something?
Okay I lol'd hard.
>20x worse than the prequel on the wii
yeah no
>it gets better
Don't read moon. Does the pillow say "Yes" or something?
no
I really should get back into this game. Left off when I got to that Titan's ass in Chapter 3 while trying to get my own boat.
Gonna finish X first, though. Only started playing that game from my back log the other day. That was after I finally got around to playing Breath of the Wild. It was okay, but beyond the scope of Hyrule I was pretty underwhelmed.
It's fun after a while but I wish the character art matched the scenery more often
happy?
Yes. Thank you for standing up to the challenge, Anonymous.
You're confusing JRPG's with Sports, user. I know I know, it gets confusing with all those playable characters and stats/numbers-driven gameplay, but it's Sports you're thinking about.
wait, how does that prove anything again?!
Well that's a waste then.
Pfft. She's not even horny in that pic.
As much as I love the 10/10 OST, aesthetically beautiful world design, and Mythra's sexy as fuck design I just can't get into this game. It was a struggle completing the first one and this one just feels like even more of a chore.
>you see the real problem is that JRPGs cured my insomnia
Holy shit I'm not the only one.
But thats not Puyo, thats not Puyo at all.
cute
Who?
>The dev team was around 30-50 persons
?????
they outsourced a lot of the game so whenever it's good it's because "they're really really REALLY talented!!!" but whenever it's bad it's because "they're a small team you can't expect them to do everything right"
people*
>“Monolith Tokyo has a little less than 100 developers,” Takahashi-san said. “Of that group, between 50% to 60% was helping Nintendo with Zelda (Breath of the Wild). Of the remaining 40 to 50 people, several were part of R&D (Research & Development), and the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 staff was made of the remaining 40-plus members.”
Most games get outsourced retard.
and XB2 got outsourced to a notably large extent. what's your point
I don't know how anyone could take this game seriously after seeing that webm that gets posted all the time. Cringiest shit imaginable.
Get better taste.
>taking video games seriously
no one is here for the plot user.
Take a sit, right click, save and have fun.
its the worst of the xentendo trilogy so what does that say about the switch?
>posting "just don't take it so seriously bro" in a game that tries to explore existentialism and gnosticism and is constantly praised by its fans for doing so
you can't have it both ways
>being so anally blasted that people like this game that you let them live rent free on your head
>not recognizing what kind of thread this is by the OP alone
>literally the only argument you did was "hurr durr that webm how is this happening" and quoting no one
i rest my case.
Have the ones of Mytha and Pneuma like this?
>games can't be fun and tell a story at the same time
I bet you love shitty cinematic experiences
Tfw no cute bf to get lewd with over his sexy vidya girls
I didn't even post about the webm but OK
I actually prefer Xenoblade X because it has even less of a 'cinematic' experience than XB2 does, but OK. That still means you take the game seriously enough to consider its themes. Plenty of people are in fact interesting in XB2 for the plot/lore so it doesn't make sense to say "no-one's here for that" when you're literally championing the story.
I played Torna first and thought it was enjoyable enough even if I didnt understand anything, i liked the combat pretty well, but I thought there was way too much micromanaging with blade aux cores and drops. Would I like XC2? I cant gauge how serious or silly the game is
I'm not taking it seriously to the point that I can't enjoy jokes and tits, it's still a game which is something I play for fun.
I'm having some trouble uploading images but here you go danbooru.donmai.us
>people unironically like censored mythra
>but muh tights fetish :DDD
Cringe.
I'll put you in tights
What's wrong with liking pantyhose? It makes me harder than any other piece of clothing.
serious question, does this game get way more fun after act 3 or something? I'ma bout 3-4 hours in and I'm really struggling to play more.
I really want to enjoy this game, because i loved xenoblade chronicles.
No. The people who tell you otherwise are lying. They keep saying it even after it's shit after 25 hours. I was given a 70 hour mark for it to get interesting. Don't waste your time.
it's stockholm syndrome: the game. gameplay's meant to pick up at chapter 3 and story at like chapter 7 but those are both considerable timesinks for a game you''re not enjoying. i beat it and it never got better imo
Why won't she brap all over me bros?
Yeah. The game is okay on the combat at first and some abilities are locked until completing more of the story. I dropped it for a while until I watched a quick video guide on the combat and learned to blade switch more and that putting points into each character learning driver art cancel really speeds things up. Your skills get better by chapter 3 and Rex automatically gets great blades through the story so the combat gets exponentially better after chapter 3. After getting some legendary blades and unlocking merc missions, you'll be shitting out damage on the enemies.
Does this game have dungeons or is it mostly outside open areas? I hate dungeons in RPGs
i want a h2h where nia discovers masturbation and the dialogue choice is whether she gets too scared to reach orgasm
Retard.
rent free
What the purpose of the boob window?
>This is the best game on the Switch
Why has this game suddenly been getting shilled nonstop on Yea Forums for the past few weeks?
It's gotten to the point that people have started to create images such as these in response.
>slow, largely hands-off combat
it's only slow if you stay hands off, looks like you did not get it
You made that image yesterday Eric.
I stopped reading on the first point, how is wasting time controlling several characters better than only focusing on 1? I would play Xenoblade 2 solo if it was viable, the less party members and the less characters you control the better.
I rushed to the "start battle with skill charged" upgrades so I could actually do shit in the opening, always tried for combos (though the partner AI always seemed to squander chances for a level 3 charge themselves and my elements didn't match up for triggering it myself) and still found it kind of sluggish.
>I stopped reading on the first point, how is wasting time controlling several characters better than only focusing on 1? I would play Xenoblade 2 solo if it was viable, the less party members and the less characters you control the better.
Thn why have party members? Having AI-controlled party members simply dilutes the action-combat. It's the worst of both worlds (both worlds being action-RPG and party-based RPG), with th strengths of neither.
Exactly, party member in RPGs are annoying, but if they're inevitable then I much prefer them being AI-controlled
Same here. I got to some town where they introduce the fuckig fat furby and gacha mechanics, at that point I was done with this piece of shit.
>Why is this game getting threads made for it other than the ones I make to shit on it?
>It's gotten to the point that I made this image
If we polled all of Yea Forums on their favorite Switch games, XC2 wouldn't even be in the top 3.
The Good Boy's Club feels threatened by the new Fire Emblem's success.
A goddamn modern FE game is more true to it's series than XC2, and that devastates them.
>Past few weeks
There hasn't been a day since XC2 released, that there wasn't a Xenoblade thread on the board. At this point, it's downright forced. Torna released a whole year ago, and the art book months ago. We're beating a dead horse, but I'm sure people will continue to make them until the next Xeno game gets announced next year.. more than likely.
>Fire Emblem's success
I doubt that matters, honestly. We've had these threads for ages now.
Besides XC2, what other games does the Switch even have to offer? BotW, and Three Houses are about it. Mario Odyssey was mediocre.
And you’re a gamer
Mario Maker 2, Splatoon 2, Smash Ultimate, ARMS and Pokemon Sw/Sh exist too
Not really. It's better than any JRPG that came out in the past decade. They're all shit, but Xeno is the best of them.
>Not really. It's better than any JRPG that came out in the past decade
You can't just make statements like this and expect everyone to take it as the truth.
>They're all shit, but Xeno is the best of them
Ah yes, the ironic weeb defense, all anime is shit, but I like it because I don't want to have to take it seriously.
As expected of The Good Boy's Club.
>turd game is only popular because it was the only jrpg on the system
Yikes
It actually is
>shill bumps dying thread
FUCK YOU
so basically you suck at the game.
Read a guide? Or maybe your generation prefers wasting time watching videos of other people playing.
The Good's Boy Club in a nutshell.
A game should never have to get better, retard. If it has to reach a point where it is better, I will drop it and others will too.
Cope.
Is Xenoblade 2 the most shilled game on Yea Forums?
>the game is good if you look up exactly how to play it
it's not like endgame combat is riveting either, it's just "mash the facebuttons with crit recharge, shit out orbs, burst orbs" by the final boss. the game literally ends up being minutes of fucking cutscene QTE special attacks, it's boring as shit
A jrpg should definitely keep things fresh by adding new gameplay elements over its course, and that's what XC2 does, and what most jrpgs do for that matter, even up to post-game contents and abilities
it shouldn't lock off every interesting thing you can do for the first third just to accomplish that, though
especially when it'll ultimately just push people away who don't see the point in continuing with a game that isn't fun, isn't hard and hasn't really shown them anything interesting. early game XB2 is a fucking slog and no amount of "just stuff your pouches full of deserts and stutter-step every single attack" changes that.
>Inb4 200 replies saying yes lol
>Good boys club
>The Cabal
>XC2 Defense force
Why did this game have to bring so much silliness into the fan base? God I hope XC3, and XCX2 can save face.
"The fan base" being a single unmedicated schizophrenic?
>For the first third
The combat is really only dim until you reach Uraya, and unlock Mythra. Sure it's not as fast paced, and easy to tear through enemies, but the gameplay is solid. My only real complaint with the game boils down to the Gacha, and dungeons. Thankfully, it looks like they're addressing the dungeons (hopefully) since they're hiring level designers on their recruitment page for the next game.
>unmedicated
Wrong
Even putting Xfag, Eric, or whoever aside, this fandom has issues. There hasn't been a lick of new content to actually discuss in a good year now, and these threads are still being pushed daily. There's no need for them, and the only reason they haven't been pushed back to /vg/ yet is because the mods not only fail to do their job, and secondly because they have Nintendo bias.
This goes against The Good Boy's Club's narrative.
I think endless threads with shitty pretenses (like OP's) are a problem when they're made constantly but it would also probably help if there wasn't a dedicated schizo bumping every single one.
I never bump them past page 5.
I only post when someone else does it first.
I still don't understand the immense love for Mythra's character. There's plenty of blonde haired women with the tsundere archetype in both the manga, anime, and gaming media. The only unique aspect of her character is easily her creation, and PTSD in Torna.
>love for Mythra's character.
Your first encounter with a tsundere character?
It's true. I would count Persona 4 Golden in but it's a rerelease. Everything else doesn't come close to Xenoblade 2 which is an 8/10 game.
Yes, all anime characters are shit to a degree. The Japanese know nothing about nuance or subtext. If you don't believe me play Octopath Traveler, Nier: Automata or Persona 5. All critically acclaimed JRPGs with the worst writing imaginable.
>Yes, all anime characters are shit to a degree
>Anime is shit and so am I
You're an ironic weeb Etika lover just like all of The Good Boy's Club and smash secondaries that latched on to this series.
No, that would be Persona 5 aka the worst JRPG of our time.
I didn't see anything wrong with how XC2 handled its dungeons. There's only a few, and that's how I like them. I also like how there were multiple paths for the factory in Mor Ardain, that's not something you usually see in jrpgs where the path is a straight line besides some dead end branches. Dungeons in jrpgs are always shit, the less the better. BUT it should definitely have a few of them made to be tedious and challenge you with a lot of battles, acting as a big fuck you, and a reality check telling you you're either shit at handling the battle system, or you're good enough to proceed. Elpys served this purpose perfectly.
>an 8/10 game.
Yikes
>Dungeons in jrpgs are always shit
>t.never played SMT or Wild Arms games
Not sure who the fuck that is and I fucking hate Smash take that rosterfaggotry somewhere else you filthy fucking nigger. Go watch some Sword Art Online you dumb tasteless hick!
>Sword Art Online
I'm not an ironic weeb, and the ironic weeb game you're jerking off has a literal SAO character in it you dumbfuck.
>All the costumes the Nopon Sage is giving are level 5 accessories
Maybe i will grind them.
Any story can be nuanced, filled with depth, or borderline tasteless garbage depending on the person reviewing them. I don't understand why people continue to think their opinion is an objective criticism for a piece of media. That aside though, I'd personally rate XC2 a good 7/10 myself. Story aside, there's many unfinished, or unpolished aspects about the mechanics, and gameplay that are honestly more important.
>Persona 5
If you thought it was shilled before, just wait until Royal releases. I honestly hope it fixes the story and gameplay issues I had with the original product.
>it fixes the story and gameplay issues
It won't user.
>has a literal SAO character
Oh yeah, who then nigger? Tell me you piece of shit I knew you were an anime nigger weeaboo. You probably know the names of japanese developer and write fanfiction about them you filthy fuck!
>Complaining about anime on an anime board
The absolute state of The Good Boy's Club.
I don't think it had many problems with the gameplay, and the ones it did have it sure won't fix.
Storywise it's entirely impossible to save that piece of shit. The absolute worst storyline I've ever seen in such a story heavy game. The absolute worst!
>SMT
As someone who enjoys the series, the dungeons are honestly overhyped. They're mediocre at best in a majority of cases, outside of Nocturne, maybe Soul Hackers, and SJ. They were pretty boring in IV, but the expansion of the over world environments made up for this to a degree.
>The absolute worst!
Stop typing like an RPing faggot.
agree
Made for NTR
>doesn't have an answer
Then don't respond you tasteless animal. Also, stop spamming your fucking catchphrase. It's pathetic and it ain't catching on no matter how much you try (and boy are you trying hard).
disagree
You deserve to get banned for shitting on anime on an anime website.
k nigger. Come and tell me how my asshole tastes and recommend a shower gel and diet for me.
Yes, the combat picks up and so does the story.
The beginning massively drags on, just the way it is.
I honestly don't even remember all of the dungeons in XC2. I think it was..
>Ship (Where you acquire Pyra)
>Airship (Where you rescue Nia)
>Artificial Blade Factory
>Spirit Crucible
>World Tree
And out of all of these, only the Crucible, and World Tree were remotely long, or somewhat challenging. I dont want there to be a huge amount of dungeons in the game, but I really hope XC3 goes all out with the level design for said dungeons. That's assuming they're in, but I don't see why they wouldn't be.
I think Xenoblade has enough gameplay going for it that it doesn't really need dungeons.
Tales on the other hand has been severely lacking ever since they dropped the whole concept after some people complained about Symphonia.
>Dungeons in JRPG's are always shit
>Chrono Trigger
>SMT Nocturne
>Golden Sun I/II
>Paper Mario
There's quite a few games with proper dungeon design.
You're arguing with a secondary that hates JRPGs, he probably thinks bosses in games are shitty too.
The world itself is a dungeon, really. I cant say XC2 really scratched that itch though, since Field Skills were done horribly, and the overall Titans just kind of felt like they were missing something. Outside of Uraya, and Tantal, I was disappointed. Especially with Morytha, that setting was incredible but it was so short an area.
I think the dungeons in XC1 were better, but that might just be my nostalgia. Most people here probably hated Prison Island, the Ether Mines, Mechonis Field, and the Entia Royal Chamber.
I don't like them. 2D-plane dungeons are always the same shit to unlock the next pathway. I'll admit I kinda liked Golden Sun's though. But to me, dungeons puzzles are interesting when they 100% use the capabilities offered by 3D design like in Zelda, and nowadays, the physics engine. But I'm a guy that never liked the 2D Zeldas, so I guess it's up to personal preferences.
I really hope that if they go down that path, they don't default to making dungeons into arbitrary, lightly themed 3D spaces for gameplay. Like I think back on Xenogears and for all its mechanical flaws, Babel really felt like you were exploring the tomb of a forgotten civilization. In fact the game got that feeling right a few times. But that's because its best dungeons were meaningful spaces that happened to contain combat, not just arenas for that combat.
>I think Xenoblade has enough gameplay going for it that it doesn't really need dungeons.
Reading this just makes me think of Xenoblade X, where the world design is great for exploring and side content and dicking around aimlessly but really falls apart on the more storydriven segments. The closest thing the game has to a regular-style dungeon is maybe that stretch of Cauldros where you enter a building to get to the Lao-Ares boss fight, and that part doesn't stand out in a good way.
You definitely need more linear long areas for the story-heavy parts of a game. Maybe not to the extent of the World Tree which gets bogged down by constant cutscenes sometimes 30 seconds apart, but you wouldn't want a dungeonless JRPG. ...unless you want Xenoblade X2, which I do.
I unironically enjoy Babel as a dungeon because of how it's set up, and the mythology behind it. Scaling the tower in your Gear felt awesome. In general I liked the Gear dungeons in that game, so I hope the future X titles have proper Skell based dungeons. So yea, the world being a dungeon itself is probably the better solution.
>Tales on the other hand has been severely lacking ever since they dropped the whole concept after some people complained about Symphonia.
That's because Tales world exploration is uninteresting as it gets. Be it the world map/world hub, or worse, the always the same castle town, always the same desert town, always the same snowy mountain town, always the same watery town. Heck, I can already hear some Tales-like generic water city music in my head. There's a hope they improve it in Arise this time, but I'll be cautious not to have much hope.
Tales has truthfully never had proper dungeon design, though.
Zelda dungeons are good in particular, because they have specific gimmicks surrounding them. I don't know if that sort of style could be replicated by Xenoblade, but who knows. Monolith might have picked up a thing or two from helping develop BotW.
XC1 and XC2 just works for me. That's how jrpgs should be done. Bigass areas to explore, but not *too* big, as it wouldn't allow for the story to be driven the way it should. BotW suffered from this, for example, and that's for a franchise that doesn't really rely on story in the first place.
Tit fucking that keeps the mess in
That only really applies to X though, where the world is more of a major focus towards the gameplay. XC1, and XC2 are fine in terms of their worlds, but they still feel like they need more to expand them.
XB doesn't ever really let you interact with the environment so dungeons boil down to layouts of enemies that you have to choose to navigate. I wouldn't mind seeing them try more meaningful ways of impacting the world that aren't just field skill checks.
There we go, you summarized it right. The real issue with Xenoblade titles isn't necessarily the world, but how the characters interact with the environments, and explore them. As far as the mainline goes, Field Skills were a step towards this, but they weren't done well, at all.
Did anyone even like exploring the Mechonis?
>Maybe not to the extent of the World Tree which gets bogged down by constant cutscenes sometimes 30 seconds apart
I understand the complaint, but at the same time, it's only logical. The more you approach the end of a story-driven game, the more linear it has to become. You wouldn't want the final chapter to be a dungeon you enter, spend 3h to roam into just battling monsters, and arrive before the final boss for a 5 minutes dialogue, beat it and that's it. There are no stakes, no buildup, it's boring. What needs to be done is build up stakes in that final area, as it's the place where there will be revelations and such, ones that will make all the previous buildup thorough the game all clicks together. So it definitely will be interrupted by cutscenes/dialogues as the party progress through such a keypoint area. I can 100% assure you if the next Xenoblade is story driven, it will play out the exact same way in its final area, meaning more linear and many scenes, because that's how it should be done if you want your story to be printed in minds.
>As far as the mainline goes, Field Skills were a step towards this, but they weren't done well, at all.
Should the next game go back to a fix cast of characters, giving them actually meaningful out of combat abilities should be a priority.
I get why field skills work the way they do in XC2, the blade system would make any other approach seem inconsistent of lock the player out even more often.
>Should the next game go back to a fix cast of characters, giving them actually meaningful out of combat abilities should be a priority.
>characters get abilities that help them explore unlocked after a certain point
>the obligatory nopon gets punted in a cutscene and from that point onwards you can kick them to areas you can't reach, with the tradeoff being they're on their own from that point onwards
I kind of love those characters are seperated from the party moments, so that would be great.
Speaking of the next mainline Xeno game, what do you want the protagonist to be like?
>an user will never wear tights and flash you like this
I have this weird feeling that a reincarnated version of Klaus will be the protagonist of XC3, with Galea getting similar treatment as the secondary protagonist. Seeing as Takahashi loves his Xenogears parallels, Klaus essentially acts as the "Contact" of the Blade series by directly utilizing the Conduit's power, which then split his personality in half. Since both halves of him are dead, it's possible that he could be properly reincarnated like Fei was. Just, with a new name, and overall identity, before recalling his lives in other timelines. Thus, making him a new character in a way. It would be pretty interesting.
Reminds me of the Mario RPG games for some reason. I would approve. If the character cast is set though, I do hope everyone has proper traits to make them stand out, story wise, and gameplay wise. They could have did that in XC1, but I guess not.
Malos. I want an otherwise absolute madlad kept on the straight and narrow by a combination of the rest of the cast and necessity of circumstance. Full blown hero of justice by the end would be cheesy but satisfying.
"I might be a cunt, but I'm not a fucking cunt."
>Xenoblade 3: Chronicles X2: The Vandham-Vangarre-Vandham Power Hour
>Did anyone even like exploring the Mechonis?
I liked exploring Mechonis Field for a little while, and Agniratha was kind of neat. Of course, the fantastic music really helped elevate those areas.
>tfw we never got a full version of that picture, and the artist is unknown
life's too cruel
What is the likelihood that Malos survived the end of XC2, and was warped away to a new universe
>"I might be a cunt, but I'm not a fucking cunt."
>Yea Forums knows about TISM
Colour me surprised.
>Mira turns out to be the universe's/Conduit's plughole where everything that can't go anywhere else ends up
>everything Malos wrecked and himself ends up there
>got to the factory
>lost interest
Should I pick the game up again?
Aside from the dumb nopon shenanigans wearing thin, the field skill fuckery for worthless rewards really pissed me off.
I had a ton of fun (also liked XB1 and XBX), but it takes a LONG time to get good. It was a fucking slog early on because they don't give you all the combat options until much later in the game. I fully understand why they do this, given that there's a shitton of depth to it and they didn't want to overwhelm new players, but it's pretty awful early on.
Early game just lets you do a few basic driver attacks but without combos and a few blade specials. Once you finally get the ability to fully wombo combo for both blades and drivers, it gets fun.
Mostly outside areas, there's like, 4 dungeons total.
The factory is probably the single worst section in the game overall, if you can push through that you should be fine.
Obviously, if you're not a gamer what are you doing on the video games board?
>'dies' from core damage that's FAR less severe than the amount he lived with for 500 years
>disappears within a minute or so even those Aegises are supposed to be able to stick around for a decent amount of time with no core at all (as show by what Pneuma does during the ending)
>broken core disappears completely along with the rest of his body, instead of being left behind like the other blades that die of core damage
>originally named after a guy who's known for coming back from the dead
It's happening. I don't actually think that, but considering all of the above, it'd be incredibly easy for them to retcon him back to life if they wanted to.
That would be really sad if true.
Yes Mario Odyssey was the saddest excuse for a Mario game I ever played so is Xenoblade 2 is the best
>if
>so is Xenoblade 2 is the best
The judgement of someone who can't even speak English correctly is not really needed around here.
Fuck you, I just woke up
It would be pretty weak if they did. His arc is an inherently tragic one, you make his character so much less engaging if he gets a redemption arc. I love the hammy bastard but he got a pretty perfect ending. His final exchange with Pneuma and her reaction gets me every time.
Of course its not true. Its just another Waifublade coping thread.
These people have been at it 24/7. But what are you gonna do when your favorite waifu game is the worst rated and received game in the series and everyone outside of chinese porn BBS' is laughing at how cringy it is?
Cucks gonna cuck
Sounds more like you are simply SEETHING about this game having significantly more success than the previous ones.
>Xenoshit 2
>best anything
best incel attraction maybe lmao
fpbp
My guess is that IF they're gonna retcon Malos back to life, both him and Pneuma will have fused inside Aion's remains to form a new personality. Eventually, through dimensional/space-time shenanigans, Aion's remains will find themselves in the hands of the Samaarian Empire, where it will be rebuilt with a new experimental dark matter engine into the Vita. The new AI born from Malos and Pneuma's personalities will awaken and rebel against Samaar to free their Ganglion slaves as The Great One.
>more success than the previous ones.
Only because it was the second game on the system.
Xenotard.
I'm pretty sure Mario and Splatoon came out first
Literally the worst Xenoblade game by a long margin.
The gacha shit and endless micromanaging garbage for passives was the end of me. There's no point to those mechanics, they add nothing concrete other than waste time.
>snoyfags turned completely retarded
LOL, COPE more.
Nice comeback :)
Good enough for complete and utter retardation, which you showed.
The gacha mechanics are annoying, but if you're playing the game 'as intended' it's really not a biggie. They only really become a problem if you're trying to get some specific rare blades, or a full set on a single save or something.
>Starting a Xenothread with Pyra/Mythra
Why do people still do this? It never ends well
Is not, is the 5th game.
Yeah, I agree with you there.
because they're more interested in jerking off and arguing with shitposters than they are in actually talking about the games
It definitely could be. Klaus said the Conduit ended up sucking things into other dimensions. It would explain why things/beings that should not be there ended up on Mira
I always keep forgetting that KOS-MOS RE is actually wearing a leotard.
Well, Takahashi said he puts his fetishes in his games, and considering he's a man of the most exquisite taste, it's only natural to see leotards featured
Finally an excuse to post a Nia. The lack of her is why this thread has been so uncomfy
Reminder that his wife refuses to draw Elly because he keeps describing her as being based on his idea of the ideal woman.
Imagine being Soraya and having to compete with literal 2D perfection. Must be hard.
There's a weird disocnnect of having a Mythra figure without pantyhose yet in game I now main the Pantyhose
Does anybody know where the high res version of these come from?
Because the ones on twitter are much smaller.
>It would be pretty weak if they did. His arc is an inherently tragic one, you make his character so much less engaging if he gets a redemption arc. I love the hammy bastard but he got a pretty perfect ending.
I know that all of this is true, but I'm butthurt that they never made him a NG+ Blade or at least usable as a party member outside of chapter 1, so I still want it.
>not recognizing pixiv filenames
You should know about pixiv, user, even though it's now dead compared to fucking Twitter. This one artist does post on pixiv, so you can grab them there
pixiv.net
Also quick reminder you can grab higher res pics from twitter by adding :orig at the end of the file name url, but if it's on pixiv, it's the best quality you'll get.
I must admit, I never paid attention to how pixiv filenames are formatted...
Couldn't find a pixiv, so I just assumed his twitter was where he posted everything.
Thanks!
This image mixed with the low effort post alone should have killed the thread.
Dumbass mods.
Not hard to do, most games on the switch are vapid trash.
That image is censored though so it's okay
How is Pixiv dead compared to Twitter? I still see tons of new art uploaded there on the daily.
mods have white stuff in their head
All the artist share their shit on Twitter user. And only like 15% of it makes it to Pixiv. And I'm being generous, as they also upload many variations of their art on twitter and not on pixiv (which they definitely can as it allows for that, but they just rarely do it)
Just make sure to report it, if a threads get a certain number of reports, it's an auto delete.
>Got trough the trouble of making a vocaroo
>Still don't say Cuumbrain
What was the point?
>needs to abuse the system because a thread doesn't violate any rules
>Spamming this same shit literally every single day
>Sexual artwork in the OP with low effort statement
If it doesn't violate any rules, it should.
If this were literally anything other than a Nintendo series, you guys would be forced to /vg/ by now, like Danganronpa threads.
>If it doesn't violate any rules, it should.
Sounds more like you COPING and a newfag trying to shove his autism like a parasite.
It isn't against the rules, so fuck off cuck.
>This triggered by basic bait
That means it's working
Keep getting mad, you'll be out the door next.
>Admitting it's bait
OH NO NO NO
>snoyfag literally SEETHING that he has to follow the rules
LOL, you already got cucked.
Yes, it's designed in a way to attract replies like most 200+ post threads here just as you are baiting right now. It's the way of the site
I can't hear you over the sound of your own butthurt.
Says the guy SEETHING a thread is within the rules
LOL
>like Danganronpa threads.
I see Dangan Ronpa threads on Yea Forums literally every day.
t. buttmad his anime titty thread is dead
The only reason I'm going along with your shit is because I hate the Aegis sisters. I'd actually try to save a Poppi/Nia thread
Anyone that posts XC2 waifu threads on Yea Forums is my enemy, I don't care if you're on my side just this once.
>sea membrains
lmaoing at this faggot
>legitimately getting upset because the generic anime girl used in the OP picture isn't the generic anime girl you like
How pathetic.
>Anyone that posts XC2 waifu threads on Yea Forums is my enemy
It's been 20 months dude
I'm not upset, I'm just indifferent. I love the game, but it's shame that these are your main characters
>The gay shit gets deleted but the thread says up
Way to expose yourselves, mods.
Yes, doing their job
Deleting one type of pornography and not them all is a sign of bias.
so the message I'm getting here is that it needs to be a XB2 husbando thread next time? that's fine too
Those are just the rules, fag.
Mods are doing gods work
you don't need to read a guide if you're not retarded.
I didn't know gay nsfw was against the rules, but straight nsfw was somehow totally fine, can you show me that rule?
take the janny's dick harder, faggot.
A XC2 husbando thread wouldn't survive since the The Good Boy's Club wouldn't post in it.
Feel free to try, I wouldn't care because it'll gone by 50 posts.
Didn't you just beg and cry the jannies should delete this thread?
LOL
So THAT'S how you get threads deleted, by constantly cycling your IP to report them repeatedly. If you're willing to do that, there's no reason to believe you wouldn't ban evade too.
>same person
cry harder bitch nigger
I don't, actually.
Nice video game discussion, mods.
Alright, I'm going to give this thread a fighting chance. Post your setups and why you like them.
Pic related is me because I have severe autism and must have at least one of every element on my team
Does this game really have 500 hours worth of content or are you just autistic?
I'm too lazy to boot up my Switch, but
>Same for Tora
>Morag: Brighid, Corvin, Theory
>Rex: Mythra, T-Elos, Wulfric
>Zeke: Pandoria, Kosmos, Praxis
>Nia: Dromarch, Crosette, Fiora
The game has a weird programming glitch where hours get counted even while the game is in sleep mode but otherwise I do have a few hundred from multiple NG+ runs and tons of messing around in Challenge mode
I don't use a regular setup for normal gameplay, I just use whatever blades I feel like using at that time.
Pic related is what I'm using for leveling Jin and Malos in NG+, though. All of Rex and Nia's Blades have level 5 Accelerated Growth, which I imagine is more than is needed to hit whatever the cap is on the bonus, but I had them laying around anyways so there didn't seem like any reason not to use them.
Did you level Vandham too?
This thread is probably beyond saving, but
>Favorite Titan to explore between XC1 ~ XC2
>Favorite Aegis in the trio
>Favorite Rare Blade in XC2
>Favorite Xenogears character
>Favorite villain
Good game, but I can't stand Rex.
Everything that could be discussed has been discussed.
Why are you trying so hard to save the thread?
>Jin = Grahf
>Malos = Miang
>Amalthus = Krelian
Bravo, Takahashi.
Haven't yet. I'll might do it (and his hidden affinity chart) eventually for completion's sake, but I'm mainly leveling Malos and Jin because I like them a lot.
>anime tiddy
>anime tiddy
>anime tiddy
>anime tiddy
>anime tiddy
This could have been a loli thread
Hello there, Dunkey.
probably because you admitted that you are incapable of leaving any XC2 thread you enter
Valak Mountain
Malos
Perun
Haven't played it yet, I'm currently stuck working my way through Saga
Malos
Seconded
His video was spot on, Xenobabies still SEETHING
Not him, but I hate that he's started giving his sincere opinions on stuff.
So you're making these threads just to spite someone you don't even know personally, yep, I think that's ban worthy.
So for anyone who actually cares about this series, do you think XCX2, XC3, or whichever game comes next will redeem Xeno threads on Yea Forums?
The next game will destroy The Good Boy's Club, it's actually confirmed to be kino.
People are getting so hurt about these threads, that they're beginning to sound like mini mods. I truthfully can't tell if it's the shitposters, or people who like Xenoblade and are tired of the constant threads making the series continually look embarrassing because of mongrels.
not as long as xfag stays unbanned, he already stated he's going to obnoxiously shill the next game as hard as possible just to spite his boogeyman
>Favorite Titan to explore between XC1 ~ XC2
Bionis, it isn't even a contest. That's kind of an unfair comparison, considering the differences in scale between what was done with XB2's Titans compared to 1.
If you just meant 'favorite area', I really loved Torna's desert area.
>Favorite Aegis in the trio
Malos
>Favorite Rare Blade in XC2
Wulfric
>Favorite Xenogears character
Haven't played it. I guess out of the designs I've seen I like Emeralda's the most.
>Favorite villain
Malos
>People
Mostly one incredibly autistic brother fucker that thinks his life is an anime
Why is that a bad thing? You like all games in this series, right?
Xeno threads don't need redeeming for any of their own faults, they're just obvious shitposting targets because shitting on anime always hits an exposed nerve
>Rex a chad
He's a faggot. Zeke is the real chad. The game should have focused on him than the other loser
>Confirmed to be kino
How? I mean, I know Monolith has expanded quite a lot, has multiple new studios, is getting an actual lead character designer among other things, but we don't know what's in store. For the record, if you are Xfag, what did you dislike about XC2 so much?
>the writing gets better
It only gets worse.
We know it's gonna be like a western game and be very mature, it's gonna be the pure opposite of XC2.
>Anime always hits a nerve
People don't treat Persona or Tales games this badly, whatsoever.
Because they aren't cringe
He can't dislike anything about it because he hasn't played it, he just spams every thread into the ground because he thinks it ruined the fanbase, the irony.
Why am I not allowed to to criticize a game I never played?
I know the whole story.
I think I made comments like this on Gamefaqs when I was 14.
Your entitled to your opinion, but honestly Chapter 6 ~ 10 were great. It's a shame it takes so long for the story to properly kick into gear, but it's still something. Unfortunately XC2 suffers heavily from the, "it takes X amount of hours to get good!", but it delivered, for me.
Why do "people" still take comedy reviewers seriously?
Especially since he has started to take back everything he said and claimed it was all just a joke when called out for his blatant lies
>cant have a single thread about xb or xbc because 2's waifu anime faggotry
>We know it's gonna be like a western game and be very mature
Not an argument.
Finished it last night, biggest gripe with the game was some of the visuals being lazy and the battle system not having much depth. Unless I missed out on something felt like there weren't too many different strategies. By the end game it was just about being efficient with cranking out artes and special moves.
>Because they aren't cringe
Persona 4 is literally Diamond is Unbreakable, and Persona 5 is essentially an anime version of Kids Next Door. What do you mean it's not cringe? Tales is in another spectrum of clown world.
That makes no sense, this was a XC2 thread in the first place.
Epic, it's Reggie!
Uraya is the best Titan
Mythra is best Aegis
Zenobia is best gacha blade
Diamond is Unbreakable and Kids Next Door aren't cringe, Sword Art Online is.
Do you think Steam has a mark next to usernames on their forums denoting whether they've played the game they're talking about for no reason?
What the fuck does Steam have to do with this?
Well look, this isn't rocket science. One of them is hot girls. The other is faggot shit. You may as well be confused by the rising and setting of the sun.
You can still criticize a game if you've seen a playthrough of it. You don't exactly need to be directly playing a game to spot flaws in the plot, or gameplay. Anyone can see that
>Gacha
>Field Skills
>Cluttered UI
>Plot that doesn't delve deep enough into more serious aspects
Easily.
Answer the question. Why do they have it?
Bias isn't the law.
What does Steam have to do with a Switch title?
>First 5 chapters were mediocre
>Last 4 chapters are based
It doesn't really even out properly.
Then just make a thread that isn't about 2, only about the other games.
This is a XC2 thread so naturally people are only talking about that game.
Chapter 5 and the second half of 3 were good
She's going to ruin her glove.
He literally can't leave XC2 threads, his brain won't let him.
She has should have been deleted ages ago along with her blatant porn thread.
If that pic counts as porn then so does your Rex fanart, little boy lover.
That doesn't work. Any Xeno thread eventually discusses the other games, just because there's a Xeno thread up for people to discuss in.
For as much complaining people do about Xfag, anyone that gives him attention or remotely replies to him is only fueling his obsession. The people who feel the need to continually make more XC2 threads just to spite him, or anyone else isn't helping. Did they not teach cause and effect in your classes, anons?
I don't give a shit, I deleted it because I realized it was wrong.
The first six chapters were a mix of mediocre and good to me.
Chapter 1, for instance, was a great start that really got me interested in the game even though I went in not so optimistic. Chapter 2 was a massive step down from that, but it still had a few good points. Chapter 3 started out crap but got more and more interesting after getting to Uraya. Chapter 4 started out promising, dove off a cliff into filler hell, then recovered a bit at the end. 5 was initially dull but improved a lot as it went on. 6 went full dumpster fire during the segment about Bana trying to assassinate the emperor, but otherwise it was good.
After that it was just consistently entertaining.
The story reeks of rushed development. It's clear that the game knew what it wanted to do once you got to Tantal but it had no idea how to get there
>being this much of a cuumbrain in denial
You know you're as bad as any of us.
I refuse to click this. WHat is it?

retarded cumbrain
I have to hand it to Xfag. I thought once fire emblem came out hed jump ship and go shit up those threads instead but the dude truly is dedicated to SEETHING in XC2 threads forever.
>posting this
LOL, what kind of basedboy cucks actually thinks this was "clever"?
It's time to kill yourself, the only solution after showing yourself to be an effeminate cuck.
You sound like a cuck
>the basedboy is this SEETHING about being called out
LOL
...
I don't know why. At least Xenoblade 2 is actually fun
Does every sociopathic shitposter on Yea Forums talk in the same monotone, emotionless, stilted teenager voice?
They have no personality, that's why.
They think epic Yea Forums memes and contrarianism can replace one.
I love Praxis!
Is this emulatable yet
playin it, fun so far, but the animations are so fuckin laughable. also unplayable with english va
>I didn't see anything wrong with how XC2 handled its dungeons
>Old Industrial Plant has either a locked gate or a gate with impossibly high level mons
>Spirit Crucible needs to have Ancient wisdom Lv2 and restricted everyone to Lv1 Combat Arts
this
fags think i want your voice shitting up my living space
zoomer shit
I need to cum inside Hikari
>Spirit Crucible needs to have Ancient wisdom Lv2
I can't believe this game forced you to spend 2 minutes salvaging in 60 hours of play time. How dare they?
Is this bitch on cosplay jav already?
Zeke's a geek.
But Pandy is dandy.
Pandy is for cucking
Nice save, cuck.
It's like Pottery
>wanting people to listen tto your s(n)oyboy cuck voice.
LOL
He doesn't deserve to be as useless and forgotten as he is.
I'm GONNA KILL Praxis!
Why not just make your shitpost in text form? I'll probably read it
Is it possible that Nia was intended to start as a blade but then they made her a driver and needed her to use a shitty version of herself?
Very, very unlikely.
How important is this for her design?
Very!
>Bumping at page 10 to post this
Why does the Good Boy's Club always do this?
Unimportant.
She really does have everything except a personality
>Good Boy's Club
what?
>you can't post anymore if the thread hits page 10
????
Some catchphrase this guy keeps trying to force, but it hasn't caught on.
You should get banned for reviving threads with inane shit.
but what does it mean?
The name of his local YMCA where he goes to watch little boys
He's pretending that the mods installed a word filter that applies to only him.
I want a Pyra gf so bad Yea Forums!
nothing
>Bumping at page 10 just to post this
Why the does The Good Boy's Club always do this?
Pathetic.
This thread will reach bump limit if it's up to me
based user
>got to the final fight in XBX and quit
Should've rearranged your augments.
Though I gotta admit, I was stuck fighting in it for over an hour until I got lucky enough to find an opening and beat the final part.
No Tora is the only chad-pon.
Zeke is a virgin-pon with small reproductive extremities .
And his blade was used by many drivers.
>And his blade was used by many drivers.
Tora's Blade is just hand-me-down parts from his grandpa and dad. He isn't one to talk.
Does Xenoblade 2 have mechs? I know X does and I hate mechs
Now you’ve done it. He’s probably going to report you to Andrew.
It doesn't have Mech gameplay, but there are a few in the story kinda.
Not in gameplay, but there are some mech enemies in the lategame and a few in cutscenes.
god my mouth is watering, pls let me eat that pussy
>Old Industrial Plant has either a locked gate or a gate with impossibly high level mons
Isn't the locked gate the same one that leads to the high-level area? You need to find a key in a secret area to even get in there, I don't understand how people even manage to get that far off track.
I just went through the building, into the old city area, then down. No high level enemies, no lock.
Jelousy talking.
You can't, your just bad and retarded
just got switch, thinking about getting this game
if I've never played any of the others will I enjoy it? or should I get the previous one on 3ds first?
You don't need to play the others and it's a really fun game, just go for it.
You don't have to play the first one to play the second one.
But it's still a great game, so heavily recommended.
Blade gacha is fine, you get enough story and quest blades.
Passives are mildly annoying but I think if each blade had one more passive slot it would have been fine. By endgame my rare blades had most checks and I just swapped generics in for shit like Ice/Dark mastery.
The only thing thats a flaw is field skills. UI is fine.
You'll probably enjoy it, but be aware that it's a game that's kind of unpolished and rough overall. It takes a while to get going, all the systems it shoves at you can be awkward and are poorly explained to boot, and the plot is unashamedly full of goofy shonen anime bullshit. Know what you're getting in to - a lot of people love the game, but there are still a pretty decent number of people who disliked it for totally understandable reasons.
As for the previous games, there are a few references to XB1 which are pretty cool and you won't pick up on if you haven't played it, which is why it's generally recommend that people new to the series play that one first, but otherwise XB2 is in a totally different world, it's not a continuation of that plot or anything. You can absolutely use it as a starting point if you want, and many people have.
Someone please post that webm with the UI full of shit
The UI is necessary for the systems of the game to work.
And you can still remove plenty of space using names.
This guy is everything that's wrong with zoomer players. Twitch and shit ruined everything. Saying cluttered UI when all of it is useful and actually well though out just shows how this guy didn't play it, and will never understand how good the battle system feels with the pad in hands.
The worst part is people accepting the opinion of these retards and not just saying they should fuck off.
Affinity is something that was actually a step back in XC2 compared to prior titles. All the long charts to unlock passively wasn't necessarily hard for most blades, but it was time consuming.
Trivial buzzwords have nothing to do with the UI needing a little more work. I don't have an issue with the way it's setup, but it could have used a bit of tweaking. Especially when you get around to the actual combat, and your screen is filled with shit like "Blowdown", and etc.
>The worst part are people having differing opinions and being told to fuck off because they don't view it as an objectively good point!
That's not how the world works, sorry.
>Pyrha
>Not "Poirah"
Virgin tier.
People that haven't played the game should be ignored, yes.
You probably defend reviews that didn't even finish the game.
I just finished XC2 and I have to say, I'm curious as to why they didn't give Pneuma the Monado Arts as well. You'd think it would at least be part of the moves instead of being a passive buff, but alrighty then. Ontos, and Logos can do it, but she can't for some reason. Kind of weird considering Rex uses the vision ability multiple times in cutscenes.
That's a different story, considering a lot of people probably haven't played the game here, or view casual footage of it and shitpost. In that instance, they should fuck off.
>Ontos gets born Arts & Vision
>Logos gets Arts
>Pneuma gets Visions
It's a fair spread
That's exactly what I said, idiot.
How is that fair?
At Pneuma's level, even if she can pull off Monado Arts, why would she bother when they can just skip straight to reality warping?
The buffs that lets Rex match Jin's speed theoretically isn't all that different than Monado Speed, it just doesn't involve any flashy kanji effects.
That just makes it hotter.
>Ontos
*Ousia
So you can see the boob
He's essentially the Wave Existence of Xenoblade, so he gets special treatment
It just is.
Speaking of matching Jin, they didn't make him nearly as broken as he sounded. Sure the cast couldn't stop him until Rex got Pneuma, but for someone with full control over every element of ether particles, he sure as hell didn't do much with said ability outside of abuse super speed. So much for that.
The man was dying from Blade AIDS, cut him some slack.
At any time Jin's body can just decide to randomly fuck him over like it did in Temperantia. That's why the other members of Torna are trying to get him to hold back all the time.
