Sweet, user! You are a new owner of a Nintendo Switch! However, if you want to enjoy the full potential of your newly bought console, please purchase the following 'accessories' on top of the $300USD you just paid! (Please see items below):
>$30 for the ability to plug in an ethernet cable into your new Switch with our Ethernet Adapter!
>$70 for our Switch Pro Controller, in order to have an actual gamepad controller that isn't a total gimmick!
>$40 for a SD Card so that you can have up to 200GB of hard drive Memory!!!!!
>$15 for a USB hub so you have more than just 1 USB port! :D
>plus many other accessories that should have been standard features that you would find standard in our competitors consoles! XD
I actually like the Switch but jesus fucking christ Nintendo can fuck off with this bullshit
Sweet, user! You are a new owner of a Nintendo Switch! However...
The dock has 3 usb ports, not 1.
>30 dollars
>Any USB ethernet adapter works
>Not having SD cards around
>$30 for the ability to plug in an ethernet cable into your new Switch with our Ethernet Adapter!
Didn't use it. Connection will be shit anyway, since Nintendo Online sucks.
>$70 for our Switch Pro Controller, in order to have an actual gamepad controller that isn't a total gimmick!
I'm using my PS4 controllers via 8BitDo (I also use PS4 controllers for the PS Classic).
>$40 for a SD Card so that you can have up to 200GB of hard drive Memory!!!!!
Already had that one.
>$15 for a USB hub so you have more than just 1 USB port!
???
all of those are a lot cheaper than that if you just shop around
USB ethernet adapter $10
pro controller is routinely around $50 on google express
256GB microSD $13
etc.
>>$15 for a USB hub so you have more than just 1 USB port! :D
wanna know how I can tell you've never touched a switch?
>$30 for the ability to plug in an ethernet cable into your new Switch with our Ethernet Adapter!
8 if you're not a fucking moron without Amazon.
>$70 for our Switch Pro Controller, in order to have an actual gamepad controller that isn't a total gimmick!
Somewhat fair but a lot of cheaper options exist if you don't care about nfc, hd rumble or motion
>$40 for a SD Card so that you can have up to 200GB of hard drive Memory!!!!!
SD Cards are fucking cheap, learn to shop. Also not that necessary if you delete games you're done with.
>$15 for a USB hub so you have more than just 1 USB port! :D
But it has 3? How much shit do you need plugged in at a time?
>plus many other accessories that should have been standard features that you would find standard in our competitors consoles! XD
Like what?
>Justifying needing to spend more money just to make the Switch current with a console released in 2013
>PS4 doesn't have 5ghz wifi support
>>$30 for the ability to plug in an ethernet cable into your new Switch with our Ethernet Adapter!
Already had one
>>$70 for our Switch Pro Controller, in order to have an actual gamepad controller that isn't a total gimmick!
Didn't need it
>>$40 for a SD Card so that you can have up to 200GB of hard drive Memory!!!!!
Already had one
>>$15 for a USB hub so you have more than just 1 USB port! :D
There are 3 USB ports on the dock
>>plus many other accessories that should have been standard features that you would find standard in our competitors consoles! XD
Such as?
What?
I only bought a screen protector, a wired control for console play and a carrying case.
All that seems pretty standard and for only another $50 for all 3.
>greentext HURRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Nice
>Justifying
I didnt. Read the post again.
>wifi
also 2.4ghz and 5ghz comparison is minimal unless your Switch is in the same room as your modem running on 5g
(mine runs on 5g Wifi and I still get shit lag in games like DBFZ and Smash than when playing DBFZ and Tekken on my PS4, which is right next to my Switch)
No headphone jack for the pro controller is the real crime here.
Switch has problem but present them honestly, don't be an idiot like OP.
Unless you really need to play 8 player Smash, all with GameCube controllers with rumble enabled, the Switch has more USB ports than things that can usefully be plugged in at the same time.
Yeah that would have been nice, although wired headsets are trash
wired headsets are top tier unless you have a $250+ bluetooth headset
How can you pull this shit when the ps4 is sold with only one pad?
At least, the switch is playable as is when out of its box. The only thing l have that's on your list is a memory card which l already had anyway
Although you are wrong about many of these points, the one thing I do agree with is the controller.
The Switch should have came with a fucking Pro Controller on top of the Joy Cons. This has been my major issue with Nintendo since the Wii.
Why the fuck should I pay nearly 1/3rd of the Switch's price for a goddamn proper controller?
Sony Platinum is only $120
Are you actually comparing a DS4 with fucking Joycons?
There was literally nothing wrong with Wiimote-chuck
and it will break in
nah ur a lil bitch boy
Not him but DS4s are also trash. On my 3rd in less than 3 years
yeah maybe if you lived at a retirement home
Fuck accessories. The switch is perfectly usable out of the box.
What really fucks with me is the price of the games.
It's a fucking handheld. The games shouldn't be 60 bucks. Not to mention the absolute garbage sales on the e-shop. Not that I'd want to go digital on the switch since the fucking account system on it is busted as fuck.
Three Years later and seething fags are still desperately hoping the Switch is suddenly somehow going to flop.
ELL OH ELL

Yeah beaucse the ps4 enough space for games.
The ethernet cable to make up for the shitty online is by far the most egregious thing
>didnt even read thread/op
You had a chance to elaborate on your point but instead used an ad hominem. Nice
why wouldnt a console released in 2017 have a dedicated ethernet port built into it's base, tho?
>Yeah beaucse the ps4 enough space for games
Not really. I got to the point 4 months ago where 8 games maxed my memory and I had to buy a $70 external HD.
>>$30 for the ability to plug in an ethernet cable into your new Switch with our Ethernet Adapter!
There is zero need for it when the switch supports 802.11ac out of the box
>>$70 for our Switch Pro Controller, in order to have an actual gamepad controller that isn't a total gimmick!
joycon grip is perfectly workable, or get an sn30 pro for $30 less if you must have a dpad
>>$40 for a SD Card so that you can have up to 200GB of hard drive Memory!!!!!
Buy physical
>>$15 for a USB hub so you have more than just 1 USB port! :D
There are 3 USB ports on the dock

such as?
>$15 for a USB hub so you have more than just 1 USB port! :D
The Switch has three usb ports, tard. Why would you need more than three USB ports? If you ever actually play four person local with wired controllers, you are probably playing Smash and using the GCN hub if anything.
>$40 for a SD Card so that you can have up to 200GB of hard drive Memory
The storage space is small but you don't need to get this right away. Especially if you are still using physical media.
>$70 for our Switch Pro Controller, in order to have an actual gamepad controller that isn't a total gimmick!
Again, the grip isn't ideal; but, you can easily put up with it for a while. You will eventually have to get a Pro though yes.
>$30 for the ability to plug in an ethernet cable into your new Switch with our Ethernet Adapter!
You are right that Ethernet should have been built in, assuming that the dock-switch connection has the bandwidth(?) to push power, USB input, video output and then internet simultaneously.
The reality is most people aren't spending that money on the dongle because they don't know/care or they are underage/live in a dorm/live in an apartment and don't have access to wired anyways.
what version do you own?
you could always buy a $70 2TB harddrive to install (billed as an external, you just remove it from it's case and insert into your PS4)
Another problem is the inability to message people directly via the console. I go online and see a friend playing Smash, and the only way I can communicate that I want to play with him is having to use literally any other device EXCEPT the fucking system I'm using to play. This kind of dependency on a 3rd party is fucking retarded and any excuses are "do you not have phones?" tier garbage.
>what version do you own?
OG PS4
What is the storage on your external? If it's 1TB or more, just remove it from it's casing and install it into your PS4.
I did this years ago and haven't had an issue.
I have no problem using it externally
I only paid for the system, $20 sd card, and the games. I've never had any trouble.
>$30 for the ability to plug in an ethernet cable into your new Switch with our Ethernet Adapter!
You can find these for dirt cheap on Amazon and eBay if you're not completely retarded.
>$70 for our Switch Pro Controller, in order to have an actual gamepad controller that isn't a total gimmick!
They're $50 at Wal-Mart you dumb fuck. Furthermore, there are countless barebone Switch controllers that can be gotten for $20-25, and even $30 bootleg controllers that literally the same as the real deal minus the Switch logos. You have got to have single digit IQ to actually buy a Pro Controller for $70.
>$40 for a SD Card so that you can have up to 200GB of hard drive Memory!!!!!
This is the only thing I'l give you. It's jew as fuck of Nintendo to only provide 32 GB of storage, a good chunk of which is used up by updates and the firmware.
>$15 for a USB hub so you have more than just 1 USB port! :D
It has 3 USB ports you b8ing retard.
well what i am saying is you could install the $70 external into your PS4, and then get another and have then 3-5tb with 1 running the OS dedicated
actually meant for
>>$70 for our Switch Pro Controller, in order to have an actual gamepad controller that isn't a total gimmick!

this isn't universally true.
My local walmart has the pro controller listed as 69.99 and I live in a big city.
only one that's a problem is the Switch Pro (read: normal) Controller
this shit should be included with the console, with the gimmick shit as the second option
when will nintendo get out of the shitty 'wii muh controller' mentality
