I'm sorry :(

wow, they only needed three more years and for everyone to stop caring

they've been working off sales of the game that entire time, almost certainly out of sheer guilt for how many people sunk hours into the game at launch, trying to find something great

Credit where credit is due the game is pretty good. But they can go fuck themselves for taking 3 years to deliver what they promised at launch

I don't care about the game but at least they tried to fix their mistakes. Other devs/publishers would sweep it under the rug and pretend nothing went wrong.

Nothing to apologize for. When the game came out, it was shit.
I'm glad that it's so much better now, though. Good on them for fixing it.

No, too many bugs now
Would have to wait for a patch to say anything

I haven't paid attention to this at all. How is the game good now, exactly?

Come on, post his sexy feet again.

Uhhhh no?

You don't get to call a job finished, take years to actually do that, then get congratulated.

He shouldn't have run around lying. Just be honest while making it clear you have future ideas.

Shitting on him and thinking his team just took the money and ran was such a good timeframe.
Then his team actually went and made everything that Murray lied about and somehow saved the game 100%, it's mind blowing

They actually have most the stuff promised at launch. Fun if you like space and the story is... unique

I'm not paying $30 for this shit after it's launch. Unless the vr is really really good.

I've been telling people for years now that the dudes have atoned but no one gives a fuck. Most of the people in this thread probably haven't played it since it was released and just keep parroting "It's shit" "It's fraud" etc etc.

People know it was all due to a misunderstanding, too. It's common sense that no dumbfuck is going to roll out with that level of misinformation knowing he's going to be held accountable for it. He obviously didn't know it was bad info. There was a break in communication somewhere in their chain, or Sony pulled the noose and cut a few months of their schedule. It happens. It was obvious on day 1 of release but people love a good riot and pretended not to notice the elephant in the room. That's Yea Forums.

Its buggy af atm, either get it cheap now and play it in a few months or just wait for the next sale

>they've been working off sales of the game that entire time, almost certainly out of sheer guilt for how many people sunk hours into the game at launch, trying to find something great

Sorry, how is that POSSIBLY a bad thing? HG is basically the most honorable developer in the field right now. They've gone above and beyond what anyone would demand or expect. Good for them. Get back to me when EA or Ubisoft shows a shred of humanity.

Those are publishers and not devs. Sasuga based retard

Literally not until he does.

>"it gets good 4 years in"

WHAT DO YOU DO IN THIS GAME???
give me a real answer beyond OMG SAVED APOLOGIZE LMAO

Come on is it as good as the gameplay demos they were showing off? Even after 3 yrs of putting ducktapes over the game?

Nothing. The game is still shallow as fuck. You spend most of your time flying between planets to shoot rocks and trees so you can either make stuff to sell, or just build stuff.

There isn't really any purpose to anything you do in the game.

i dont care about the mp component, is exploring better now? or do you still run around empty lame recolored planets shooting rocks?

You fly around and explore and shit. It's actually not terrible. Haven't tried since the patch yet.

Oh shit I'm sorry

>game crashed when trying to load my old save
>would have to start over and farm S class ships and mods all over again
>doing starter missions all over again
>can't progress because need hyperdrive blueprint, but the next step in the quest is to make a hyperjump
no you apologize
