Zelda

How did Dampé show up in other games when he died in Ocarina of Time?

He's omnipresent and keeps the bearers of the triforce in line.

It's not the same continuity.

You undo the future at the end of OoT.

Each game is it's own story.

He's the ferryman of the Zelda universe, eternally bound to his work.

Same reason there's a Cid in every FF game.

If this is a plothole thread, then why is Impa in the Oracle games despite never appearing in alttp, which were sequels according to the timeline. Also, if we're talking timeline bullshit, why is links awakening now BEFORE the oracle games in newer historias? The ending screen of the linked oracle games had link getting onto a craft exactly like the one he's riding in links awakening's intro

well it all started when ninty stole a shitty, unnecessary, fan made timeline to make canon instead of just letting them be callbacks, references, and easter eggs for fun cause zelda fans are pedantic retards who don't understand anything other than the most literal interpretation of absolutely everything, enjoy you fucking faggots

They're not the same person. Just like there's multiple Zeldas, Links, and Tingles.

>why is links awakening now BEFORE the oracle games in newer historias
Wait, what? When'd that change?

In the new editions of the hyrule historia. Now the Oracle games may or may not be the same link from the oracle games

>may or may not be the same link from the oracle games
Fuck, I meant alttp. Alttp link might just be his game and links awakening now

That's stupid. ALTTP Link goes on to Labrynna and Holodrum and then sets sail before he's trapped in the Wind Fish's dream. It made perfect sense, why would they fuck with the least confusing part of the timeline?

Dampé is just the surname of a long, glorious lineage of hunchbacked graveyard wardens.
Impa may have the ability to travel in time. She appeared in the same time period as her future self in SS, it's not much of a stretch to think she's got some sort of time travel trickery going on to be wherever the princess needs her. The Oracle one is the last sidestep before she returns to while her days away in the Sealed Temple.

It's also updated on the current Zelda's jp website. The sequence is ALttP > LA > OoS > OoA with the same hero.

How new are you? Link and Zelda aren't the only characters that appear in several eras, Dampé, Tingle, Malon and others do as well

Agahnim probably killed Impa, it even makes more sense considering he's a puppet of Ganon and Ganon probably remembers how OoT Zelda was saved thousands years ago thanks to OoT Impa. This time they killed her before kidnapp Zelda (but Link revived him with the Triforce, just like he did with his uncle).

>LA and Oracles change
Idk, maybe they just wanted the theorists to shut up with that "Link is actually dead in Link's Awakening" bullshit, just like they did when they said Majora's Mask is a dream world and not some purgatory bullshit

what other games does he appear in?
it is a dream you know

Because the Oracle games imply that Link never went on an adventure before and knows absolutely nothing about Zelda or the Triforce, two things he would know all about if he was the same one from ALttP.

ALBW

It would make way more sense if ALBW Link was the one of the Oracles, and ALTTP Link only other game was LA.
Prove me wrong. Don't even try, you can't.

Did you even play ALBW

Just say Oracles Impa is old Impa's daughter or niece or something like that and you have the same as ALTTP->Oracles progression but this time Link's design actually makes sense

But then why is ALBW Link being treated like a know-nothing in Oracles?
