Plan and study the classes that you want to use ASAP. I got fucked because I thought that there was a flying mage class like in fates, so I wasted a shitloads of time investing on flying
Play Classic + Hard mode or you'll whine about the game being too easy.
While it may seem tempting to recruit as many units as possible, you have a limited number of spots for each battle, so focus more on just assembling a team of your favorites and using them (with two or three substitutes as necessary based on mission layouts).
After you fill your ability slots any new learned abilities will not be mapped on by default. You'll need to go into the units menu and manually swap old skills with new ones. I either mashed through this prompt or it was never explained.
No matter what, try to recruit Hilda (Non BE E Route), Felix, and Lysithea. They are the best units.
Recruit Lorenz for his relic from his paralouge and then bench him.
Bernie is the second best archer after Claude. Archers are good this game.
Vanilla BE sucks ass aside from Bernie and Ferdinand (who low key is outclassed by sylvain but both are solid).
ALSO edelgard is good on vanilla be but that’s obvious.
The game is still easy even on Hard. Hard just feels like Normal Mode in previous games. I really hope Lunatic Mode is good.
My dick is the flame emperor
Just finished Blue Lion route. I feel so damn satisfied with it, I'm worried the other routes won't be as good. I loved every bit of it.
>You'll need to go into the units menu and manually swap old skills with new ones.
had no idea about this, cheers
>While it may seem tempting to recruit as many units as possible
Dumb, recruit everyone so you get a ton of paralogues
Pick Blue Lions. Pure kino
Best characters, plot and House MC
Most of them dont give anything worth noting
>Lorenz for a sweet staff (and then bench him for all eternity)
>Marianne gets a cool magic sword
>Ingrid/Hilda/Annette/Sylvain gets their respective relic
Am i missing something?
Firstly, do not underestimate how broken the authority stat is. It's a good idea to give EVERYONE a battalion even if thet have a personal that boost them without one. If you dont boost your teams authority youll be stuck with shit-tier battalions. But both (current)modes are so piss easy that you dont need anyway.
And look at the advanced and master classes requirements so you have a good idea what build you should focus on early game.
Like in every FE, horses are the best because they let you go fast.
What difficulty?
Wrong, do not recruit your S ranks from previous runs so they do not end up married to another person post-game
Don't ignore battalions when the game introduces you to it or you'll regret it early
That's what i did for 2/3 of my playthroughs and regret it. I laughed at battalion vantage and wrath but around endgame i had a bunch of a ranked battalions and only 1 character had b rank at best...
Wyverns are op as fuck.
animations in this game lack some real polish man, the horse spin is cool but what is up with the 2 parter animation having the person fly on the first hit?
claude has a 3 part wyvern crit shot but they only knock the person down on the final one
then there is other stuff like the bow combat art arrow clipping the arrow through everyones hand horribly
and stuff like some attacks having the character move ahead far enough that the enemy is behind them when they start swinging
not forgetting
>every single ranged attack has the projectile aim for the persons crotch
>every single ranged attack has the projectile aim for the persons crotch
I fail to see the problem here.
I thought he was too nice.
So does his bow actually look like that or is it just fucked up
