That seems to be the writer's intention so I'll believe the change of heart is true. My issue is that it should not be logical to believe it for the characters. His act of trading the sacrifice can be seen as unprovoked murder in the context of the game, and he did this in his "let's reconcile and escape :)" phase, proving his duplicity. Nothing should be able to make him trustworthy at that point.

He was suspicious of Sara at that point(and to be fair, there really is some suspicious stuff about Sara, who knows what everyone would think about her if she wasn't our point of view) so he sent her the sacrifice
Later on he was okay with everyone escaping together including Sara and he still didn't trust her, just cooperated because it was the right thing to do
Then during the main game he saw how everyone including Kanna trusted Sara, how all his plans ended up goign nowhere and how everyone including him would be fucked unless they worked together, so he just dropped the madman persona

And anyway, during the trial he suspects Sara would have traded the card away instantly and that she would be working together with Keiji, meaning he didn't expect Sara to die to the sacrifice card, so I don't think it's too unrealistic that people would doubt him anymore after spilling the beans on everything he knew while he was speaking with a new sprite that looked at his most desperate

And from the player perspective, he has already shown some conflict about what he has doing a couple times

I found Chapter 1 to be considerably shorter than 2. I beat 1 in around 5 1/2 hours, whereas my playtime at the end of Chapter 2 was just under 14 hours. Admittedly I'm generally a slow player but even still I think it's fair to say Chapter 2 is a fair bit longer than 1.

Apparently the demo alone is supposed to be around 8 hours long. I think we're in for a meaty ending lads.

It's a bit of a stretch but I think it's somewhat believable considering the series of events that transpire following his re-appearance. Kokichi is fun but there's only so much you can get dig out of him because his true personality is so obscured by his compulsive lying. And I'm sure that he'll be elaborated on even further on chapter 3, I don't I could ever pull that much out of Kokichi.

Am I the only one who wishes the entire soundtrack could be better? I mean I love some of the tracks, when playing this I thought the soundtrack was really great despite sounding indie. But then when I listen to the music on headphones, some of the tracks just sounds a bit empty, like the sound was all on one audio channel with no background music to accompany the main rhythm. There are decent tracks that are fine as they are but the soundtrack is what I really want to be remade when they make a remake.

We literally know he's a jokester who gives off playful answers when giving him names of the others while also shitting on those guys as well. The only one he didn't shit on was Mishima.

He and Shin are basically twins.
