As a long time xboxfag, I honestly can't think of any exclusives that justify the purchase of the console. I was hoping Halo 5 would be the saving grace, the magic bullet that would force Xbox One away from meme status, but it obviously wasn't. Multiplayer is... alright. But I'm a campaignfag and the campaign was fuck awful.
The Forza games are good, but not worth spending $400-$500 on a XboneX. There's Gears but honestly if you've played one, you've played them all and they are also on PC.
Here's hoping Halo Infinite pulls some magic out its ass and makes up for... what is it now, 5 or 6 years of mediocrity?

Recore is amazing though. It really surprised me for a modern game to be a game. It just throws you in and lets you play and have fun without hours of cutscenes, tutorials, or locked off features.

Can't speak to other games below that mark, but he's right about ReCore. It's just many reviewers marked it down for initial performance issues (load times) that got better but still aren't great. Also a few reviewers want every game to push Vidya as an art.
Saying that, something like crackdown 3 is a game being just a game, but it's shit. Even if you forget about all the cloud bullshit, it's still a shit game.

Just looked through metacritic. The critic score is low because critics aren't actually humans and critc scores should always be disregarded. The user score is split between 10s and 0s because of the performance issues and long load times. I started with it last month and had no performance or load issues, so I assume it's been patched since then. I loved it because it's a simple 3rd person shooter with smooth platforming and movement, and it doesn't hold your hand. It's a bit of a collectathon. Kind of between Jak and Daxter, Zelda, and Metroid Prime.
