Not much of a hassle, really. The problems you get on PC and go out of your way to fix are shit like low FOV or fixing bad controls which are problems you wouldn't even get the chance to fix on console. You just have to cope and seethe with it over there.

If anything, when some people say "this & that is a problem w/ PC gaming!", they are most likely just steaming out their own overwhelmed emotions, caused by the sudden flood of choices and freedom. For once, they don't need to be spoonfed by big publishers or manufacturers, and can try out way more titles & tricks than they may have even know to exist.

the most demanding games are usually going to be multiplatforms, but now you can play them in 4k, assuming you build a strong PC
also you can emulate a fuckton of games, including Demon Souls 4k@60, tons of GC/Wii games in 4k, etc
Arkham Knight, MHW, Mankind Divided and Witcher 3 are the best looking recent games in my opinion, also make sure to put up some saturation into MHW, makes the game look way better

OHHHH IT'S FUCKING FAST BOOT THIS WHOLE TIME

I was getting audio crackling and I spent fucking ages just dealing with it by unplugging and replugging my headphones which reset the audio driver and bandaid fixed my issue. Then on a completely unrelated note I turned off Fast Boot and stopped getting crackling

I'm glad you got it solved. I had to use a USB sound adapter to get around the issue before I knew the culprit, but it still pissed me off knowing my onboard sound was fucked for some reason.

I should have known, because I reinstalled Windows a few days ago and the audio was fine, until I restarted. Then it started happening again
