Banana outclasses every other Heavy secondary to the point where it's not even funny, Sandvich would still be viable if they nerfed the cooldown or reduced the Banana's healing to 150 but as it is there's no reason not to use the Banana

Sandvich, always. It heals you more and faster, especially if you pick up a health pack afterwards which you should always do. And it's also a medium pack rather than a small one which isn't worth shit. The banana taunt would need to be faster for it to be as good.

Banana is a direct upgrade desu
The self heal is on an effective 5 second cooldown after you finish the eating animation, and a small medkit is still enough to keep a medic alive, and the you'll have another one in 8 seconds anyways.

Throwing down constant medium health kits for your team makes all the difference in the world. Every time I go back for ammo, I throw down my sandvich next to the health kit, pick up the kit, and now my team has an extra medium health kit whenever they need it.

Sure you can convert tiny medkits into medium ones, but you still have to leave a push and rev down in order to do so, and after throwing the sandvich down, you still have to either wait for the medkit to respawn to get it back or take a push without a sandvich.
Meanwhile banana will allow you to throw one down and resume the push, since you'll have another one more than twice as fast than the sandvich.

To play devil's avocado, Mad Milk and Jarate are both teamfight winners on 15 second cooldowns, if one Scout/Sniper uses it, it forces the other Scout/Sniper to use it.
Do I think weapons bans are dumb? Yes. But I also understand the reasoning behind some of them. However, QF was banned because you used to be able to cap while Übering, which has since been removed. Why is it still banned? The Dragon's Fury is a perfectly balanced sidegrade to the stock flamethrower, you could even make the argument that it is better. Why is it banned? The Cow Mangler was only banned because Soldiers could luckshot instakill Snipers and Scouts with the secondary fire minicrit. If that's a bannable offense, WHY ISN'T THE LUCKSMAN BANNED, AS WELL?

they can both be thrown on a multiple amount of enemies in a short cooldown and, in the case of the jarate mini crits are a big damage boost mainly due to the no damage falloff, in the case of milk it gives a huge health advantage and that's a big deal for obvious reasons

Highlander is terrible. The match revolves too much around Heavy/Medic, Spy has to just constantly go on suicide runs to kill one of them and Pyro is just their buttbuddy to prevent said spies.

A 450hp heavy med combo is the main unit of the team that needs to be respected. It's not like you can jump them and take them down at midrange and you can't spam from long distance due to falloff and his massive healthpool, he can easily run to cover and heal.

I remember hearing that b4nny was holding a 6s tournament without any bans whatsoever to test what was really broken or not, is that still happening? I liked the idea of actually putting all the ban theorycrafting to test to see what actually ends up mattering or not since it gives much more concrete proof that bans are warranted.

I don't think that's possible in a 5cp, maybe only the demo can get there fast enough but he's the main damage dealer and he meets the other one in mid. It's a suicide run that is very unlikely to pay off.
