Yes there's plenty of rustbuckets to race.

It's funny how the more racing games have moved past shitbox cars and towards the top of the line, the more they've become uninteresting to me.
Some of my fondest racing game memories are buying some dumb used car in GT2 and leading it to victory against its betters. I sorely miss that sense of progression, I get handed powerful cars on a silver platter now.

No because it's a shit game.

If you don't give a shit about multiplayer you can get it for free on your local torrent store.

>Mitsubishi Gallant Vr4
>Miata Mx-5
>Rx-7
>Subaru Legacy RS
>BRZ Swapped with an LS
>Volvo 850R Wagon

Yeah you'll be fine

been dying to buy this. Am I too late to the party

You can still beat supercars with shitboxes if you don't care about online stuff
You are shit

Game is lifeless without online. You won't get exclusive cars and weekly forzathon events.

No kidding. One of the first cars I won from the RNG prize spin in FH4 in the first couple hours of playing was a fucking Bugatti Chiron. Basically didn't need anything else after that except some all terrain vehicles for the offroad rallies, but the game starts you off with the best cat for that anyway.

Yes, you can tailor the career races to any class of car. You can have a 80s econobox race if you like just like you can have a 2000s sedan race.

Online racing is based now. No more rammers and wall riders. If someone approaches you too fast near a corner it ghosts them out and slows them down if they hit a wall.

If you want a good racing game, this ain't it. Get GT Sport instead.

>that stupid weeb that know nothing of cars and only use the initial d cars.

>console 60fps with dips to 40fps

Nope

Uhhh, isn't there some trainer/cheatengine tab already for this stuff?
I haven't pirated the game yet, so I can't tell.
However, personally I don't give a shit about multiplayer and I don't mind the game to feel like desert without all the retards constantly ramming into you. So I'm gonna yarr harr it.

I wish I still felt like playing it but the 'tracks' repeat too much online.

>Is now cracked
>90GB
Welp.

literally get game pass for 1 euro and play it for free, great game, one of the best

get FH3 instead OP
absolutely based

They can't ram into you during freeroam. All ghosted unless invite to convoy. Traffic is heavier when playing solo.

There are 40 gigs repacks with selective downloads for shit like 1080p/4k cutscenes and language packs, if you're into getting crypto miners from repackers, of course.

I'm still not convinced to get it legit way for multiplayer thanks to ramming fucks during actual races.
I'm not goalmoving, I'm just not very fond of multiplayer racing games.
The last time I've played MP racing game it was 2012 and it was NFS: World. That game had quite a nice community of players respecting each other, many other MP racing games I've tried were filled with retards. Including all Forza games available on PC I've tried with Game Pass.

>zoomer music plays during every load screen between races
>turn streamer mode option on stops it but this setting gets reset when you open the game again

Get the game pass offer and just play this and Sunset Overdrive.

No. Wait for something actually good youtube.com/watch?v=9ewiJJe_nYI

There's automatic antigrief measures in now. It's too risky for anyone to ram you.

Couldn't agree more. I feel like one of the worst game design trends of this generation is the compulsion to give players instant gratification instead of letting them work towards achieving something. I have fond memories of racing the Silvia in GT1/2 and modifying it to win races it shouldn't have.

There's like 500 cars and super/hypercars are the minority, there's plenty of shitboxes and general slow shit to drive

really obvious bait

hmm unless they somehow make the cars not handle like total shit (unlike the last 5 NFS games), i'm gonna pass.

Huh? Really?
Now I'm interested. I might pick up Game Pass to see the state of the game and I might pick up Ultimate Edition if this measure is not really punishing.
Still, I think it's quite dangerous for myself if I'll accidentally ram into someone else.

Did NFS cars ever handle well past the og Hot Pursuit series? My memories of Underground, MW and Carbon are fuzzy but they were never truly satisfying to me.
I think you've just grown out of the arcade control scheme.

I just play the game in solo session mode so I can still access online features like auction house, forzathon and player-created liveries without worrying about seeing anyone in my gameworld.

yes, The Run had nice controls with more a loose focus on realism, and Hot Pursuit perfected the arcade-style high speed slide everywhere gameplay. all others felt completely mind numbing to play, the cars handled like bricks and punished you if you didn't try to do super duper epic drifts around every single corner. plus all the cars feel basically the same. they dumbed down the game to HOLD BRAKE WHILE TURNING TO PLAY GAME. zero reason to use racing lines or brake properly.

That's one of the biggest flaws in Horizon for me. Sure the three cars you can choose from when you start the game are rather modest, but you can get a 200 mph supercar in no time and the game constantly throws high tier cars at you for free. You get full money and XP rewards no matter how well you do in a race, so there's really no incentive to put any effort into the game unless for personal satisfaction. There is no progress, it's not aimed at people who want a challenge or a "career", it's basically a sandbox with cars.
I still enjoy it because of the enormous variety of cars, the comfy free roaming and the track creator (which is also not as great as it could be since it only lets you start a race at vanilla event locations), but it would be a much better experience if there was any real sense of progress and achievement.

Attached: 138.jpg (1920x1080, 410K)

agreed. the only other horizon game i played was the first one, but in that it felt like you actually had to work up to the faster cars.

Yep. Works well. Not perfect but stops most idiots.

youtu.be/dU2OmNVrnOo

no, the game is still full of players and is the best racing game right now.
Donlt listen to this playstation cucks

Ok, now to pick up Game Pass at a good price from some reseller since it's not officially sold in my country.
And I'll need to look for a legit third party key seller who has a good discount on the game since retardonies at Microsoft stopped supporting my country's currency.

Was anyone else sorely disappointed by the DLC? Especially the Lego expansion, that was the definition of wasted potential.

I haven't played the previous ones. I imagine 5 won't be any better in that regard

Attached: 206.jpg (1920x1080, 246K)

Fortune Island was alright, it was more of the same but the map was pretty cool if a little too small. The Lego stuff I played for about an hour and I haven't touched it since. At least it taught me a lesson: don't buy DLC before knowing what it's going to be.

what currency is it?

potatoes

Hate to admit it, I'm a vodka drinking bearfucker from Russia.
The support for Ruble and Game Pass sales were dropped since February of this year.

yeah all the good twisty tracks are out because the community is a brainlet. The game still very much leans towards top end over handling.

Same cars, they make you pay $50 for again every year. Expansions are hit and miss. The progression layout is annoying. Loading times are abysmal. Game engine is showing its age. Club features are shit. Car list is shit even with all the dlc. Car customization is shit and worse than it was in forza 3. Map is meh. Too many invisible walls in free roam; terrain diversity is purely cosmetic. Drifting mechanics and drag mechanics are shit. Buy it if you like spending $200 a year on a chat lobby with cars

pirating this shit now

Attached: 1447978316483.jpg (600x600, 65K)

You can make custom twisty tracks. I like the ones that combine fast road sections with twisty dirt bits

Attached: 405.jpg (1920x1080, 380K)

based

How come it took so long to crack?

Nerds don’t have jobs or drive cars

should I pirate it or play it using the 3 month xbox game pass code I got from when I bought my 3700X?

I put anime liveries on my cars whenever possible

Attached: lego.jpg (1920x1080, 549K)

game pass. the pirated versions are limited. the whole point of the game is that it changes what events and cars are available every so often.

Those aren't even the true shitboxes. The game has a fucking Gremlin.

Attached: FH4_AMC_Gremlin_Front.jpg (1920x1080, 881K)

Yes, shitboxes are the best part of the game

thats boring but i guess its necessary with a forza game

handling got 5 times worse, the world is soulless, the seasons simply don't make sense, the weekly events instead of a beefy career mode is pure bullshit, expansions are bullshit too because of said weekly events "career mode", oh god what a putrid piece of shit of a game, 3 was the peak and yes I'm mad as shit because I paid 100$ for the super dooder fucking edition

Attached: 08547534573.jpg (633x640, 51K)

It feels lifeless even with online. Something about 4's online just feels empty in a way that 3 didn't.

post your baby

Attached: 1975 ford bronco.jpg (800x533, 66K)

the pirated game doesn't have seasons? that's a big bummer

Yeah people drive a lot cleaner now as you get penalized twice for crashing into a wall.

someone who's already played the cracked version, how do you find the content?
is there shit to do when there's no online?

Have you done all the races and stories? Then you're done with the game I guess

bump

Rammers still exist, they just force you out of checkpoints instead.
