There's two ways to play the game, Advanced Mode that just shows you dialogue, and Novel Mode that also includes all the narration. You click an icon and it switches between them whenever you want. Then it is revealed that Novel was from Akane's POV and Advanced from Junpei's, and it just keeps switching on its own from then on
