inb4 story driven game
>second reboot in less than 5 years
I tell ya what, this franchise is dead. Too bad Midnight Club is never coming back.
So yet another overly-arcade game who is flat-out Burnout, where close circuit racing is impossible and you race at 200mph in a highway, at 30FPS, awesome
>unless it's a NFS U, U2 or Carbon remake
>open world
>microtransactions/lootboxes
>street racer vs cops for the 100th time
>ugly goblina women
>30 fps
>cringe story
wow it's fucking nothing
1980's vibe might be cool though
Need for Sneed
>another nfs made by ghost
their past three games sucked dick, why would I bother
based
Try fourth, the franchise has been already rebooted in 2003, 2010 and 2015.
60 seconds, bros, let's see this shit.
i expect nothing still gonna get let down
>countdown to another countdown
ibs habbeding
Holy fuck that's gay
that was shit
looks pretty gud
Well the trailer might be exciting for 12 year old boys, otherwise it looks uninspired as shit.
>need for brazil
kek, fucking dropped before even picking it up
looks like fucking trash
>ghost
and that's why
why do people give a shit about it again?
nothing they put out will ever stack up to the black box entries, hot pursuit 2 on ps2 was peak classic nfs, and underground and most wanted were an absolute blast of street racing action, even prostreet was enjoyable as much as it strayed from everything else
>it's yet another nfs 2015 reskin
NFS is dead and buried
How can we go back to pre underground nfs? I want to end it now
Is it an always-online game, run on the Games as Service model, wherein I as a player can pay microtransactions in order to purchase cosmetics, lootboxes, convenience items, and new content?
I fucking love games like that!
jesus that god awful voice made me wanna puke jesus
>pre-ordering is already available when they've only shown a cinematic trailer
Red flag
>s 08/14/19(Wed)
Need For Spics
>prostreet but not really
so how long before they show us the RPG machanics?
>ugly spic girl
>ugly voice
>ugly music
>hyper cars on illegal street racing
yep, that's a big no for me
user was right, another hollywood-esque attempt to copy Underground's format on an uninteresting story with shit gameplay
my exact though
>PRE ORDER NOW
>literally JUST showed everyone a 2 minute trailer
what's sad is that there are people out there that have probably already pre ordered
WE ARE THE LAZY GENERATION
This, those games bled soul.
youtu.be
youtu.be
>it's not even 1980's Miami
then what's the fucking point
>woman voice over with horrible accent
>awful music
>le edgy bad boi street racer muh street cred
stop doing this
>BREAK TO DRIFT IS BACK
ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
This kills the underground zoomer scum
>They destroy, so we design
>The control, so we create
I just want something similar to High Stakes but I know it'll never happen.
I SAID RIGHT NOW
Please don't let her be the main character. I can already tell this is gonna involve a lot of Cubans cause MIAMI.
anyone got english trailer?
clearly a jab to trump's administration
you go girl
>we'll never go back to PS2 era racing games
>brake to drift is still in
>we want the mobile gaming audience
>Set in Miami
>Not in the 80s
It’s shit, the only reason people care about that shithole is the synthwave 80s aesthetic but I guess the only way to get zoomer attention is with fancy modern super cars
Brake to drift does sound dumb but why do we always rag on other games for doing it and not Burnout 3?
Burnout 3 is not a game made for racing game fans. "We" don't like the game.
The major success of the Fast and the Furious movies have destroyed most racing games forever.
>only way to get zoomer attention is with fancy modern super cars
Fuck the Fast and Furious movies
>>we want the mobile gaming audience
I can't quite put it into words but modern culture just doesn't feel right with these kind of games. It feels incredibly off compared to the likes of Hot Pursuit and Underground.
I just want to pick a car and rag it through some mountains or a busy city, not all this "tear down the system" crap
According to PRE ORDER NOW page, you can create your character but not sure about the voice or accents.
>Countach vs Aventador .
Yeah idk about that 80's thing you are saying .
Asphalt started it all and literally every mobile racing game has this mechanic
are kids into street racing these days? this game is clearly their target audience
this
Only the really ironic weeb zoomers that watched initial d.
I hope no offroading bullshit
>note a sequel of carbon
Yep, this is shit
ghost games is made of ex-criterion devs, you do know that right?
That's a good question, their most beloved games (Underground to Most Wanted) were inspired by F&F so obviously they had to go with the trend at the time.
So is this Underground, Shift, or Hot Pursuit?
More importantly, will it be good?
And will it not be always offline?
The trailer tells me fucking nothing, not even the theme.
Speedcross confirmed. See official page.
>he thinks zoomers care about underground and mw
your retarded
need for speed is not burnout, it doesn't need to have this shitty mechanic, it fits burnout because the focus in those games is havoc, in nfs it's about racing and not causing damage
this! I just want to grab the cheapest car and tune it to be the fastest shitbox
Hot pursuit 2010 was kino.
Shame they killed that company and all the other good racer devs.
Payback in Miami
Looks like it's going for a mix of Pro Street and Undergroud/Most Wanted. Don't expect it to be as good though
Carbon at night. Pro Street at day.
I didn't say that. I never asked for any reboot or remaster.
Hope they don't add in those fucking Payback card packs for upgrades.
NFS has been dead since 2012
God fucking dammit
>goblina speaking
>niggers in every shot
>its not undgrd vs police its just POLICE BAD NAZI
>ugly dike for female protag
>nigger sounds as the music
>they control so we create makes no fucking sense in the context, quite the opposite
>muh special snowflake syndrome
i still ain't budged, nothing can top undgrd 1 2 and mw
Because modern culture is all about fuck the system and fuck Trump. Which some developers think "oh wacky and HIP PREACH IT SISTER WE NEED TO SHOW THEM OLD PEOPLE POLITICS CAN BE IN VIDEOGAMES" meanwhile back then we all just wanted to tune a car and crash into a cop because FUCK YOU SHERIFF JOHNSON I SWEAR I WASN'T SWERVING OR SPEEDING.
Time has changed
Let NFS die already
>EA
>not finding a way to milk our wallets dry
>So is this Underground, Shift, or Hot Pursuit?
pro street + underground
>More importantly, will it be good?
no
>And will it not be always offline?
yes
yes, but mobage fans are going to buy the game because of the brake to drift. its there because its made by the same team that made burnout so obviously they're sticking with what they know. also you should be blaming EA for killing black box more than anything
>Guy at the beginning reminded me of Cross for a brief second
>Rest of the trailer is complete shit
>t. zoomer
it's been dead since 2007
>EA killed Burnout for NFS
>Then they kill NFS
Life really is unfair and unjust.
zoom zoom its over since 2k7
>Pro Street
Oh, that existed.
I did like Carbon so I'd take Carbon, but it'll probably be shit.
What's the flagship car? An Audi?
Lads, I just want a game where I can rice the fuck out of my shitboxes and race with them down a small mountain road on a rainy night with my mates.
Is it too much to ask?
>t. zoomers
It's been dead since 2002.
>It’s just Payback 2
>2012
It died with Carbon
IIRC there's speedcross in Payback too
racing kino is back on the menu bois
>Burnout
LOLOLOL. We found the only dude that liked that game .
>Criterion dead
>Midnight Club devs merged with another Rockstar studio to work on other games
>Sony killing off Wipeout and Motorstorm devs
>arcade racers in general outside of Horizon are pretty much irrelevant
more like
>EA killed Burnout for NFS
>then they turn NFS into Burnout with liscened cars
>then they kill NFS
literally all most loved nfs play like mobile games y'all just were retarded kids and loved it cause the game was easy for brainlets.
nfs was never a good series all it did well was presentation, gameplay was always absolute dogshit.
You dont like neo NFS because you grew up and you dont have nostalgia goggles. If you were the same fuckhead kid still you'd love it but you dont.
looks like fucking shit
probably will have huge amounts of microtransactions
I want to go back to "story" which is just about two best racers fighting each other. Story that is contained within streetracer community of game, without "we gonna fight politics by doing hip activity liked by youth of today".
Hey fuck you, I like burnout as well. Even if the last game came out a decade ago and wasn’t that great.
IT'S NOT FAIR
Need for Speed: Heat sends fans to Palm City, a brand-new open world where street racers have gathered to make their names known. By day, players compete in the Speedhunters Showdown, a sanctioned competition where they earn Bank to customize and upgrade their garage of high-performance cars. At night, players risk it all to build their Rep in underground races where a rogue police task force roams the streets, ready to take racers down and swipe all their earnings. The roads, the risks, and the rides never end in this street racer where a player can roll deep with their crew, build their garage full of hot cars, and make the city their nonstop playground.
>And will it not be always offline?
And I fucked that sentence up completely.
Well, basically I just want to pirate it.
>women driving custom cars
Why are they so disconnected with reality?
Just go to any car meet, any street takeover, any trackday, 0 GIRLS THERE
Ferrari confirmed.
>>Criterion dead
they're alive but just a support studio for Dice. theyy handle all the vehicles
Name one (1) good AAA arcade racer that came out in the last 5 years.
You literally can’t.
They could have just done an HD remix of the PS1 games but no, zoom zoom hate old car that wasn't anime.
look how they massacred my boy
I just want more underground ;_;
They fucking brought back Cross as a voice cameo in Payback, as well as Eddie and Melissa from UG1 having a small part in the 2015 game.
Also, guaranteed they'll have the M3 GTR as a preorder bonus but still won't use the proper V8 sound used in MW and Carbon
youtu.be
If you wanted a reply that badly, you could have just asked.
NOW IT DOESNT LOOK LIKE BURNOUT OR NFS
They are gonna try absolutely everything before making underground 3.
>devs of Cruisin' Redline won't port to Switch and keep it an arcade machine forever despite having to license Cruisin' from Nintendo
Go fuck yourself underground shitter, you're the reason why the series took this direction.
Both The Crew aren't that bad to be honest.
Is that good?
A remake of Porsche Unleashed
>Bank and rep
Let me guess if you pre order you get a booster for those.
Kys zoomer scum
You don't know true disappointment until you see NFS Hot Pursuit in 2010 thinking this would be the greatest video game of all time and it turns out to be burnout with licensed cars instead.
Peak soul
I enjoyed FH3. Haven't tried FH2 so can't comment on that.
They won't make Underground 3. They already basically did with the 2015 one, and if you just want it to be called that, at most they'll do Need for Speed: Underground because games older than 10 years apparently don't count
The new Corvette, I think.
the fuck is break to drift
it was only good open world racing game since most wanted
That is probably because arcade racers are something that only stupid people and children can enjoy.
I don't know . Ferrari is very strict with what you can modify in their cars (they are perfect as they are or so they say).
licensed brand cars are never good
have fun with no car destruction and no car mods
It's when you brake and instantly go into a powersliding mode, dumbass. Ie literally every NFS game since 2010.
>WE
Anyways Horizon 4 is cracked so I think I'm gonna go paly that instead.
Who fucking cares
So when is it going to go full-blown ridiculous like F&F now?
>C7
talk about being outdated
>press brake button in a corner
>car automatically drifts
>???
Memes aside Forza Horizon 1 and 4 are really good. 2 and 3 were fine but you can tell they were just upgrades. I really hope the rumors for 5 are true.
>break
>go right or left
>accelerate
>now you're drifting
that's it
touch the break and accelerate to start drifting, I think they introduced that in HP 2010
(You)
>The Crew 2 is shit
>Forza Horizon shits the bed with both expansions
>NFS dead
what the fuck am I supposed to do for arcade racers this sucks
You don't want it. It's a one pedal racing game for babbies.
>literally looks like Payback DLC
>Paybacks shitty handling still present
>edgy story
GODFUCKING BURNOUT FUCKING DIED FOR THIS
>Too bad Midnight Club is never coming back.
i fucking hate GTAO so much for this
High Stakes was a product of its time.
I don't think you could capture the same feeling in a modern AAA production.
Why the "fake 80s feel"? The game doesn't seem to be set in the 80s.
FH4 is shit without online, is a "game as a service"
The Run (which wasn't even bad) and Payback already did. You could just change the title to F&F and it will make no difference.
POTTERY, ITS THE SAME SHIT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND FUCKING OVER SOMEONE PURGE THE FUCKING INDUSTRY I WANNA GO BACK
A E S T H E T I C S
>le memewave aesthetic pls buy our game internet
they are getting desperate
JUST FUCKING PUT CRITERION BACK ON IT
I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT CHARACTERS IN A RACING GAME I JUST WANT TO GET IN A CAR AND DRIVE IT I DON'T NEED TO READ HAMLET OR OCCUPY WALL STREET WHILE I'M DRIFTING
>press play
>hear some dumb chicano voice
>"oh boy its another game set in american about cars"
>hear american voice
>police sirens
>"no thanks, this is all tiresome"
>unplug internet cable
Even as a european its getting tiring to get shoved down with american stereotypes, minority ethnic representation and a the player being a criminal outlaw.
They need to come up with something new, this setting was so 00s. I dont see why its coming back
NFS ended with NFSU
>Not toyota
in-game purchases optional
Ah boy, here we go
what the fuck is K.S
Cringe as fuck
>preorder bonuses and exclusive edition content already announced long before release
Honestly getting too old for this hobby
how many time are they going to try to reboot underground
GET LOW
kill self
Interestingly I think that the car culture has shifted in a way that UG2 that was adored when it came out aged poorly while Pro Street that was "ehh whatever" at launch aged very well
based
cringe
/thread
Mutts ruin everything.
>>ugly music
>>hyper cars on illegal street racing
these are dealbrakers for me
what happened to having a shitbox and making it great? Instead is full million dollar cars
is for zoomers who are into synthwave and similar shit
Sneed
How many time have they tried to revive that dead franchise now? 4 time?
As many times as they can before EA kills them
No it's not.
No really come and give me some names. Once you realize that cars have gears and take more than just one button for a drift to work and you get a wheel it is whole another level of enjoyment.
>They are perfect as they are or so they say
>a sports cars manufacturer reeee's if you dare to modify one of their car's
jesus christ
I SAID RIGHT NOW
Agreed, Pro Street grew on me more and more by the years, while underground racing doesn't click with me that much like before.
Polestar 1
They better put black superman in their next game
looks like fucking ASS
Fucking mexicans. I miss the blacks
it's pretty much why lambo's exist.
Sure but the few "in game" shots that were shown in the trailer didn't look like synthwave crap.
>male and female avatars
At least I won't have to play as a latinx goblina
why is there a nfs reveal? it's just a car game, a ea car game to top it off.
Why are they so stupid. Just fucking remake NFSU2
Holy shit what the fuck is a polestar?
It helps that ProStreet has arguably most solid car list of any NFS
So I guess boosters are their answer to paid upgrade parts. Still shit but at least it won't gate people from clearing content.
>ctrl + f
>zoomer already mentioned 11 times
whatever happened to just calling these guys kids or stuff like that? Is it just too boring now?
I always thought this new word sounded dumb and people just say it cause it's new.
It's a fast Volvo
Cause U2 is garbage for zoom zooms. Just remake High Stakes on the PS1 already.
What are the rumors for 5?
IIRC, Toyota pulled their cars from Forza since they don't want to see their vehicles damaged
more like need for heat, lmao
dilate
>google it
>4 inline + electric motors
>fast
lmao
>that nigger music
>that voice acting
>can't see shit because of the blur
at least put most wanted 2005 in the origin store
It's similar as to how people use incel instead of virgin. The difference I guess is that zoomer became popular as a term more organically while incel was pushed by the media and reddit.
Not every game has to be an autistically accurate simulation to be fun. You think guns work exactly how they work in COD or battlefield? Spoiler, they don’t. Sometimes it’s just fun to play something less realistic.
Bait
>get to corner
>slam on the brakes
>turn the wheel
>car starts sliding
>accelerate
>EPIC DRIFT BRO
No, just not 17.
seconding
>GRID reboot
>NFS reboot
But no fucking Burnout reboot.
need for heatler
something that only fits ridge racer
rip ridge racer btw
>"I SAID RIGHT NAO!"
>he doesn't know
WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY DOING TO MY NFS
same as they were for 4, Japan setting.
How long do I have to wait for a driving game with realistically sized streets and realistic traffic density?
THERE'S A KILLER ON THE ROAD
incel only became a populat term after pic related happened, which resulted in a lot of media attention and influx of normalfags, and once the incel subreddit got shut down
TOO THE WINDOW
TO THE WALL
TWO SWEATDROPS DOWN MY BALLS
MY BALLS
>miami
>heat
>pink-blue palette
are they just cashing in on 2k or something?
Ridge Racer wasn't even braking to drift, it was just letting go of gas while going into a turn and then re-applying it.
You don't know how much I want this
Also more racing models such as 917, even type 64
>it will came out at same day as Death Stranding
>they ltiteraly gave an entire month window to Grid 2019 kill this game
Yes and it was a reddit term. We already had virgin, robot and wizard.
>Plam City
>not Palmont
criterion is dead amigo
>>GRID reboot
Oh fuck, you reminded me.
GRID 1 was amazing and 2 was alright, kinda hyped for it tbqh
zoomer here, this game looks like shit and I always hated the underground shit. I played High Stakes and III on PS1 but never on PC. I want to play both of them now since they look comfy as fuck and I have a few days off from work? Where do I get started when it comes to making them work on W10, a 360 controller, and modding more cars in?
>Yea Forums hates reddit
>consistently uses terms and memes popular on there without fail
I can't even fake surprise anymore.
does it have playable nig?
This might be the most soulless NFS i've ever seen.
jfc
>sup n-nig
Was it kino?
It has nothing to do with realism. The game is going to need some form of depth to be enjoyable for someone who has video games as their main hobby. The thing with the FPS games is that mouse works very well with them but I didn't play any of the CODs or Battlefields because again - they just seem so one dimensional and bland.
this game could be been better if it was set in Mexico city but of course they just put in spanish voice over for le diverity
Start with learning how to google you zoomer faggot.
Thank God I still have Initial D arcade and Wangan. Bring back Burnout though.
it looks good, cheaper and will come an month before this game
surely it will kill this game easly
>people hyped for a Lancer Evo X
not only in NFS but also with FH4 (free expansion pack) and the crew 2
not just it but FH4 has like 5 generations of EVO
Was there even one interesting car in the trailer except for the R34?
Seething. NFSU 1 and 2 was peak nfs. Cope more.
Now THIS is cyberpunk.
Yes, the Diablo, a car infinitely more interesting
Ok zoom zoom.
>Lancer Evo X
Shit taste, it´s the worst looking one
they used the spanish voice to get media points and beacuse its based on """"""miami"""""
neither EA nor Ghost Games really get why Underground worked
you can bet your ass this game will be filled with
>cant customise that part sorry
because they had to get some expensive super cars in the roster
NFS Underground worked because almost every car was a common street car with a huge aftermarket selection, hell the fastest cars in UG1 and 2 where the Nissan Skyline, Ford Mustang and Supra
this meant that every car had the same amount of options and the game stayed true to its Underground theme
they either need to fully commit to making a Underground style game or just go back to the NFS3 to HP2 model
this middle road they constantly take is pleasing no one also fix the fucking handling
So, in other words, it's Payback 2.0. Guess I'll just stick to Most Wanted and Hot Pursuit 2 then.
Because calling 20-something year olds "kids" is a very boomer thing to do.
Not that zoomer is a better moniker.
There are people who think NFS peaked with
>2SE
These are the oldfags, real arcade niggas
>Hot Pursuit
>High Stakes
>Porsche Unleashed
>Hot Pursuit 2
These are the classicfags, they enjoy the "cozy" atmosphere with arguably perfect balance of Arcade-Sim driving physics
>Underground
>Underground 2
>Most Wanted
>Carbon
These are the ricerfags, they enjoyed the car customization, soundtracks, drifting and dragracing, with MW the return of cops as well.
>ProStreet
a very abstract group of people who believe that ProStreet is "The Best Hits Compilation" of NFS series, only missing cop chases
>Undercover
These people do not exist
>Shift
I don't think these people exist either
>Hot Pursuit 2010
These are people played a single burnout game and thought
>Man this would be cool with an actual Lamborghini!
Every single one of these groups believe that the ones before them are delusion grandpas and the ones after them dumb children
Why do EA insist on having such cringey stories? Underground and MW were charming without going full edge/cringe
>More importantly, will it be good?
no
Forza Horizon 3 and 4 (3 was better tho)
Countach.
You forgot to mention, that back then people were bandwagoning tuner """culture""" and FnF, because they were popular back then and everybody was hooked on it as much as boomers on coke in 80s.
Nostalgia factory can be like a double edged sword.
Hot Pursuit 2, MW and Hot Pursuit 2010 are my favs and I enjoy them all equally. What now?
Wigger garbage
get grid 2019 and send an fuck off to EA
this
and this
Forza Horizon is pretty much the only arcade racer that offers a freedom in customisation thats close to UG these days and that sells gangbusters with each new entry
>Favorites are Hot Pursuit 1, Prostreet, Shift 2 and HP2010
The fuck am I?
Shift 2 had bad handling, but god it's aethetics were god tier and driving felt dangerous.
Why is the countach or diablo in the game when the huracan exists? Nobody cares about those old ass cars.
cringe
But they barely change everything besides UI and other misc stuff. Forza is basically a Call of Duty of racing games, so they can get away with mediocre or repetitive assets in newer games, which is unfortunate because they can fuck us in the asses by launching same product every 2-3 years. For example, there are cars that have same models since like Forza 5 or Forza Horizon 1.
It's been dead since 2002, you are absolutely correct. Fucking gangsta niggers fucked up what NFS had going
Absolute shit zoomer taste.
>474084193
No easy (You)s today.
>the ugly version
this
t. boomers that drink monster 24/7
What's your ranking of the NFS games? Of the ones I played from best to worst
>Pro Street
Really enjoy the car handling. It didn't feel like other NFS games but it's still my favorite. Perfect balance between arcade and simulation while also having great ricing
>NFSU1
Great gameplay, great OST, challenging races. NFS with the best sense of Speed
>NFSU2
Like 1, but the tracks seem worse. Still enjoyed it a lot.
>MW
Good gameplay, good cars. Cheesy characters but pretty good overall.
>HP2
Great car selection, great racetracks but very casual gameplay
>Carbon
Like MW but shit.
>Undercover
What the actual fuck
I miss Midnight Club.
This, FH4 is so perfect racing game that it only needs huge city/metropoli area
>MCLA sould like shit because it released too close to GTAIV
godfucking damnit
black panther is in fast and furious now?
90% of Yea Forums is redditors, why do you think the board is so shit?
between Rage 2, this and NBA 2k It seems like the 80's are popular.
Again.
Can the 80's just die? just so we don't need to hear how Rad and Tubular they were for the next 5 years?
Porsche Unleashed is the peak of NFS series and Hot Pursuit 2 is the last good NFS game.
Change my mind
And High Stakes, Underground and ProStreet are mine.
Those were massive generalizations in the first place about the people who swear by their favorite NFS not just play them.
Generally classicfags stick with classicfags and ricerfags stick with ricerfags arguing whether Porsche Unleashed was better than Hot Pursuit or why Most Wanted is more engaging than Carbon.
Most people aren't as devoted to these groups to care enough,
but the loudest NFS fans are either those who believe that Underground was a mistake that ruined NFS as it is supposed to be about fast cars running from cops in exotic locations or those who believe ProStreet/Shift were a mistake and NFS is supposed to be about illegal street racing, tuning your car and driving through some megapolis back alleyways.
EA tried to appeal to the "HOT PURSUIT 3 NOW" crowd by making Hot Pursuit 2010, but they fucked up because the classicfags like their simcades and not the Burnout lite that was served up, and then EA tried to appeal to the "UNDERGROUND 3 NOW!" with NFS2015 and again they fucked it up because they focused on the ricer culture that surrounds the cars instead of the actual cars, the racing or the tuning.
>CarnageCarlitoHolding4Fingers.jpg
I just wish someone would blast nuke to EA's Headquarters
i prefer Carbon than MW maybe beacuse of drift and the montain stuff
My Favourites:
>MW 2005
>Shift 2 Unleashed
>HP2 PS2 version
>World (after re-launch)
What am I then, eh?
From what I've played best to worst:
HP2
MW
Shift 2
HP2010
ProStreet (after modding out seizures, tankard controls, and input lag)
Porsche Unleashed
World after relaunch on private servers
High Stakes
UG2 (it was okay if we ignore bugs, broken AI, and shitty visual parts)
MW 2012 (cars felt like tanks, crashed too much into walls due to extreme understeer and heaviness)
Undercover PS2 version
Hot Pursuit 1
Carbon Own The City
Shift 1
Rivals
Payback
2015
NFS1-2
UG1 (it's shit because of extreme rubberbanding)
Carbon (no matter how much people mod it, it's still garbage)
kys zoomer
>polestar 1 and i8
Is this the first game to feature hybrid supercars?
>Carbon (no matter how much people mod it, it's still garbage)
but user Carbon isnt the same thing as MW05?
nah FH4 had those 2 models an FH3 had an fucking tesla
Nope, FH4 have the i8 and the Rimac C_Two
Carbon is basically a very incomplete sequel to most wanted.
Teslas are neither hybrids nor supercars.
>MW
>NFSU2
>Shift2
>Carbon
>Uncercover
>NFSU1
Shit games
>prostreet
>HP
I literally won UG2 on hardest difficulty with corolla without nitro.
FH3 Regera?
>Teslas are neither hybrids nor supercars
they have price of hyper cars tho
This. Midnight Club 2, even though it had shittier driving model, was incredibly more immersing and fun to play than any NFS game ever.
what Carbom missed from MW?
I actually liked Carbon. I feel like I betrayed 90% of the people ITT ;_;
>Midnight Club
never ever ever
Who will buy the NFS ip when ea goes out of business? They're being kept alive by fifa alone at this point.
Even from the couple snippets of actual gameplay it's obvious that physics are the same driftshit.
Sports games make EA billions a year.
i like too user, its beacuse carbon is underrated beacuse MUH ISNT MW2
>that like bar
EA is using bots again it seems
this what user said lol
only sport games give EA money nowdays
take EA Sports and see how much flops EA has
EA will never go out of burliness because of normalniggers, user.
>X series was never good
AHAHAHAHAHAHA OH NO NO NO NO NO NO HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
dropped
Asphalt 9
>shit music
>blacklist dropped from 15 to 4
>that annoying bitch that then joins anyway
>class system for the cars
the only thing it had going for it was the better visual customization
nice ps1 graphics
>story DRIVEN game
>playing nfs after 2005
go home shill
haha
even normal people are getting tired of it
Star Wars it was what started this whole fighting about microtranastions
the only problem is that sports games atract kids that will expend lot of money on game anyways
recenrtly BBC got an story of an kid that wanted get an messi on FIFA UT (e didnt got the card by the way)
Kid spent thousands of pounds for a chance to get a virtual card lmao
Who are even the buyers?
Take Two can have Rockstar resurrect Midnight Club
Ubisoft could maybe try to merge it into their Crew series.
Acti-Blizzard?
Bethesda?
the worst part is that he need get the same card
EVERY SINGLE YEAR
Canyon races, the map was better than MW and the cops were better than MW.
I enjoyed pro street as well. It is still fun to play. Not my favorite NFS but it shines compared to what we have today.
didnt they try all of this in "Need for speed world" which got shut down...?
Codemasters
__Sega__
nah NFSW was just get an car have fun with otther anons
no plot just it
>that one nigger replying "Nobody cares" to any negative comment
>UG1 (it's shit because of extreme rubberbanding)
WHICH YOU CAN TURN OFF IN THE SETTINGS
Codemasters have Dirt and Grid though.
I fear the nickel and diming would be worse than it is already
>German Manufacturers expansion pack, only 59.99$
they dont have an street racing series
and the last time they tried make an spinoff (Dirt Showdown) they got an huge backlash
it would better get an normal series like NFS for the
Lots of awful random gamebreaking bugs, that are even worse than ones in MW, and shitheads still defend that.
Rewards and unlocks system is trash, basically you'll have to redo whole career at least twice to unlock all stuff+ lots of stuff is locked behind online mode. Reward cards are cancer.
Car balancing is godawful and most of cars are useless. You will only use like 8-10 cars of whole list at best and ignore the rest because they are either too slow or too expensive, and you will always be tight on cash. Tiers are cancer in general as well. Some cars are broken as fuck. If you want to get things done easiest way possible, just pick one of these:
>Corvette
>Lancer Evo
>Viper
>240sx
Almost no replay value of older races. You'll just get pathetic 500 credits for redoing races, and you'll have to redo them a lot in career because of turf wars or because you're going to be tight on cash.
Cops and bounty are useless as there is no use for chases unlike in MW. They also scrapped helicopter from MW and made that you can still ride while all your tires are popped after hitting spike strips (in MW if you hit spike strip, you're toast).
Drift is shit, you're just powersliding on icy road and that's all. Get yourself a car like Corvette, Lancer Evo, or Shelby GT500 and you can call yourself a drift king.
Autosculpt is buggy as hell and stutters a lot. Vinyls/decals limit is bullshit.
Wingmen are almost useless. You can easily do races without them.
Fuck off retard, as if your shitty Most Wanted remake wasn't the most bland game of the entire series.
No, you can't. There are certain races, that are hard to complete even on easiest difficulty. Kurt's Killer Ride is a good example.
wonder what engine it will use
Cops were useless and too easy to escape, and map was a fucking a mess. Whole infrastructure was shit to deal with.
black box is dead. stop dreaming.
kike shitter
>Shit music
I stopped reading there. Thank you for your time, user.
>looking at the low poly 3D characters
>not seeing the pixelated cubemap on the car
Yeah and it was the shittiest part of the game
Who cares. EA doesn't make game anymore.
Reminder that the Deluxe edition already comes with exp and money boosts for all them RPG elements.
Rom di Prisco is a 90's God. Way ahead from his time.
>Most Wanted remake
When the fuck did I ever say I liked that? Underground literally killed the franchise you faggot fuck zoomer retard, seriously sterilize yourself so your abhorrent taste isn't passed down to some other poor soul. NFS peaked at III and HS then nosedived once fucking Underground came out to pander to you ricer fag 10 year olds.
Rimac is pure electric though.
Pretty sure the LaFerrari, Mclaren P1 and the Porsche 918 are hybrids too
also FH4 clothes again
EA Canada division was the one responsible for OG NFS. Once they stopped making NFS games since Hot Pursuit 2 thd franchise went downhill from there
I'm somewhere in between liking and hating Codemasters. On one hand they made old dirts and grids free on steam so I got them, on the other, their new games are nothing much extra. I hope they won't fuck up grid.
Zoomers don't know what it's like to drive in Redrock Ridge, Hometown and Aquatica.
Why can't they just make a straight up racing game and call it Need for Speed?
I guarantee this will be another open world racing game with police chases, shitty progression and "urban" music.
they at same level as Forza games
it could be better but at least isnt Microtransctions disgused as games
that is the idea
NFS since underground is open world and have fun
the problem is more about the microtransactions and the shitty controls (specilly after 2015)
Underground 1 is not open world
inb4 still no cockpit camera view
new nfs looks shit
>Another turn right/turn left game
Imagine the fuckheads actually thinking synthwave revival is still popular in 2019. They are like 2 years late. What's even worse, they made whole game with this aesthetics. It makes me want to puke when I see it along side with those characters in zoomer clothing. Same as FH4, all characters there looked like basedboy retard zoomzooms.
They have done nothing but make worse versions of underground for over a decade, it's clear they can't into that type of racing game. It would be better if they focused on making good tracks.
>literally payback 2.0
Yeah nfs is dead.
>Why can't they just make a straight up racing game and call it Need for Speed?
They did in 1993.
You mean asphalt 8?
Underground was peak NFS and you're a speglord hipster faggot in denial, lucky for everyone your kind is so pathetic no woman would ever love you and you will die without reproducing. NFS Hot pursuit 2 remake was also nothing but garbage trying to cash on nostalgiafaggots and didn't feature anything from Underground games so stop blaming what are the best, most memorable games of the entire series, NFS would have become shit regardless just like anything else that EA gets their hands on, delusional fuck.
>character outfits
2 was tho
they tried
Pro-street was good but underrated
Shift 1 was good but underrated
Shift 2 was so shit that i asked for refound 10 mins i started playing it

WHY!?
WHY WOULD YOU ADD CHARACTER OUTFITS IN A VIDEO GAME WHERE 100% OF THE TIME YOU LOOK AT THE CAR!?
AFADGSHSASFGHASGJGGFA
Looked like garbage
Just let it die, I can't take this shit anymore
muh dances and avatars
see Forza Horizon 4
EA thinks that game was sucess beacuse it (what they are nor correct)
Don't forget about them
I miss them
>Not Rated
NFS2SE - I played as a kid, the overall feel of it was very dreamlike, wish racing games would go back to more inspired and fantastical track designs, hard to place overall.
Hot Pursuit - I played it as a kid and remember it being pretty good, but High Stakes just seems like a direct improvement, though I recall HP still doing some things better
Shift - its a simulator, I had fun with it, but does not feel right to rate with other NFS.
Hot Pursuit 2010 - its Burnout not NFS to me.
>Honorable Mentions
Motorcity Online - never got to play but really want a Muscle Car Golden Age game and this seems to be the closest one we have
>Top Tier
High Stakes - has super lame limitations but good modding support + solid experience over all. Probably very biased rating
ProStreet - other than "MY MAN, RYAAAAN COOOOOOPER!", it has probably the best NFS car list, and having to use more than one of them while managing your funds was an interesting challenge
Underground - simple, elegant, repayable. Some races have super horrible rubber banding
>>High Tier
Porsche Unleashed - lots of good concepts that never got explored further in the series, locked up the Porsche license with NFS for the next 15 years which is gay
Most Wanted - "It just works", nothing more to add
>(High-)Mid Tier
Hot Pursuit 2(PC) - I like the presentation of the campaign, but feel that the tracklist was a bit too small and it just lacked something when I replayed alongside the other NFSes
>Low Tier
Carbon - for every interesting and fun idea(Canyons) they added a equally annoying thing(Crew members).
Underground 2 - it just feels like such a slog. The cheesy charm from UG is replaced by completely bland caricature of a "story", the aditions aren't anything special. The Free roaming is all right, but it gets old fast. I don't ever want to do another URL race ever again.
>Bad Tier
Undercover, just a complete mess, but the car list was solid from what I remember
FH4s online is dogshit. Though the lack of free cars kinda blows.
It peaked my interest but now I’ll just wait for it to be 5$.
Midnight club LA is pure kino. It’s too bad we can’t get another.
Literally do not care. NFS died with Rivals in 2013.
Since 2015 the NFS games are this weird fusion of muh tuner car culture (which is just idiots slapping aftermarket bumpers on their Nissans) and driving mechanics for people who don't actually like driving games.
2015 and Payback had so many hidden driving assists for "muh hollywood action" feel that anyone who knows how to vaguely drive a car properly (you know, 90% of their fanbase over the past 20 years) just end up fighting with the assists for the entire time they play the game, and eventually fucking off to something else.
Oh and that's before the greedy kike speed cards.
Zoomers ruined videogames
>Rivals
It was dead long before that, try pro street
>Car spins out because you stamped on the gas like a retarded gorilla.
sell more microtransactions
The way to get zoomer attention would've been to have a synthwave 80s aesthetic.
So you can virtue signal to your friends how it is alright that people can wear clothes of the other gender
sad
No, there is specifically the "Catch Up" setting that you can turn off. That's the rubberbanding and the difference is monstrous.
Carbon is definitely a better game than HP2 PC. It might not be as good as Underground but it's in no way a bad game. The drift events are fun, the customisation is largely improved. It's not obnoxiously fucking boring like Underground 2 is so it doesn't belong in the same tier. Put it next to Most Wanted.
Also play HP2 PS2 it's good
They pulled out of the previous game.
The cars don't spin under brake to drift, they just forever
Will there be a gameplay trailer?
Mariokart cornering.
redpilled opinion
all of these idiots ripping on carbon are just salty it wasn't a MW reskin. it tried new things and for the most part did them well
UG2 had much prettier city when you took a ride in that mountain area. it was pretty low res but still looks great even today.

FYI it's piqued, not peaked.

i am sure that they did it beacuse they dont wanted to bug the prize system and make unisex clothes require less coding and work
i mean if was really virtue singling they would had promoted it heavly (what they didnt)
>game is made by swede cucks from Ghost Games
Yup, dropped.
Who plays this garbage when Forza is a million times better? Even if its been zoomered it is still classier, its more dynamic, there are so many more cars and the interior detail of any car is great.
Already done. Six posts in.
You know it's true. NFS underground pretty much saved the series from complete stagnation.
I want to find whoever made this design decision, bite his nose off and spit it back in his fucking face.
Uh huh, whatever helps you sleep at night.
In one of the dev interviews one guy said something like "if you noticed in our game we dont ask the word gender when selecting clothes"
You don't need any other arcade racer.
>Want to play Forza
>Either need to have Xbone or Windows 10
>we saved the series from stagnation by plummeting it into the fucking ground
Wow, thanks, zoomer.
I know but that was 2 decades ago, closest thing I've gotten this gen was Driveclub

This but unironically. I still play GRID to this day. The first one. Even runs great on my core2duo laptop from 2009.

I am probably biased on HP2 because during childhood I only got to play it a few times as my own PC could not run it and this gave me a "forbidden fruit" feel for it.
For Carbon you have valid points, I probably need to do another High Stakes through ProStreet playthrought before I change up my standings. Most likely will skip Underground 2 though, once was enough for me. The last race was so anti climatic and the build up to it so dull I just can not deal with it again.
Driveclub really was the closest attempt at a classic NFS but how did it end up?
Don't hear much from it nowadays.

The Toyota story is even more retarded. They pulled their cars from video games because they didn't want people to be able to "experience driving their cars using video games as an alternative to purchasing them."
It didn't have to be this way...
Based.
>welcome user
that was mostly because they retardely advertised it as a multiplayer game first, so when the online was crap at launch nobody bought it, I still find stumble upon people who didn't know the game had a singleplayer campaign.
It did?
NFS U was a great game with decent challenge and greatly designed tracks as well as the best online MP the series ever had, blaming it for what came later would be just like blaming the pre underground games for NFS HP2 shitty ass remake.
>HP2010
Stick to burn out faggot. NFS isn't for you.
yes, and it got a ton of extra singleplayer content over time, like a ridiculous amount of extra events
Sony was pushing it as a Horizon killer kind of deal

The pc version of this game always was pretty high quality looking for the time, but I'll always have a soft spot for the playstation version of these games for some reason.

These are the best ones. Underground onwards were fun but nowhere near the quality of the OG era games.
Good.
>Hot pursuit was the last good nfs
I agree but, even though it was generic as fuck, I had so much fun with the Most Wanted remake on my Vita that I can't help but give it a pass, its big brothers were crap but it was a good portable game.
looks pretty dope
Wait, we hate Burnout now? That's news to me
No, when they made NFS 1 - High Stakes they had a certain tone and feel in mind, one that we will never see again because EA looked at dude bro zoomer culture, F&F, nigger rap, and said "We have to put all of this in our games now to appeal to the cool dude bro audience. It was definitely leaning in that direction with HP2 but they went all in when Underground came out and it's never stopped. The philosophy of titles likes Underground has always been a desperate attempt to capture the dude bro audience and not the tone and feel of the older titles. Call me a memelord but NFS started losing it's soul when HP2 came out and when Underground happened it completely obliterated the soul of NFS. You cannot prove me wrong on this. I don't see why something like NFS: Heat wouldn't appeal to an Undergroundfag, it seems right up that type of person's alley.
TL;DR, NFS lost it's soul when HP2 and Underground came out, the """evolution""" of the intros speak for themselves.

Because it isn't as good as U1.

It's mostly incel /pol/tards that will never be able to judge games objectively because they are nothing but nostalgia manbabies. Anyone knows Underground is when the series peaked mechanically and track design wise and if wasn't for it the series would have died.
>that
>a rumour
That's just underage weebs trying to meme something into existence. In post E3 interviews, they said Japan wasn't even on their shortlist for 4. They did say east-Asia was on the cards, but not Japan.
The idea of Driveclub was nice but the landscapes of the tracks were very monotonal.

Don't like Porsches?
Everyone who's ever worked on a Black/Burnout game has left and EA replaced them.
That's the only one I missed, at the time of it's release I thought "I'm not playing an advertisement disguised as a history game disguised as a racing game." Never think about it until some user mentions it in an NFS thread.

What the fuck is wrong with you all?
This. People from Black Box, Criterion and even Eden games are now in studios like playground games.
It was good game though. My first NFS so maybe I'm biased a bit but I don't feel anything towards this dead horse.
NSF underground was ahead of it's time and makes any of your shitty, now irrelevant classics feel outdated, only a pretentious nostalgia faggot loser would let the theme of a game influence his opinion over things like track design, challenge and driving which is where Underground will always triumph, it added so much variety and perfected them over it's unreal, it makes every single game before it feel like a shitty burnout where cars lack any weight, go play them today fucking faggot, Underground completely rapes them out the water in every single aspect which explains why it's easily the most fondly remembered NFS game today and the direction the series is trying so hard to recover.
you're not the only one to notice.
We like going fast, retard.
>literally copy of Midnight Club was ahead of it's time
?
boomers are delusional with nostalgia goggles that's all carry on
No. Kids these days modify their cars for aesthetics primarily. Racing is a dying sport even in legitimate settings. Illegal street racing is extremely risky and dangerous due to modern police having vastly more powerful technology at their disposal.
The irony is that car games outside of Forza are largely propped up by the same audience that grew up with FnF and Underground. Automotive culture is dying and the only things that matter to the current generation when it comes to cars are tech and badge whoring. Ghost and EA are misreading their audience. I've bought all three recent NFS games and literally ignored all the new cars in favor of 90s JDM and muscle cars. Zoomers do literally the opposite and it shows with the popularity of Forza. The faggots p2w with the cars that have the biggest price tags.
Why are you getting so emotional over a ricer simulator?
Its not a bad argument. but as said its a pretty unique feeling NFS.
He is clearly baiting and probably got mad that no one gave (You)s on the "Mostly incel /pol/tards" posts
>Illegal street racing is extremely risky and dangerous due to modern police having vastly more powerful technology at their disposal.
It's still a thing though, especially illegal drag boomers keep this shit alive. Don't know if in US but they do in Stockholm.
>NSF underground was ahead of it's time
You're fucking joking right? I hope you are because if you wanna compare it to a game from the same generation Burnout 3 stomps Underground into the fucking dirt, I still play Burnout 3 to this day, way too much fun.
I'M STILL FUCKING MAD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
youtube.com
>Pro Street
Peak aesthetic, I don't know what BB's art direction team were smoking at the time, but that shit feels timeless. Still has the best car audio in the franchise imo. Car handling was shit tho, literally everything understeered.
>Undercover
In it's defense, it had everything required to make for a decent MW-esque title. Pity the soundtrack had to be tied to such a half-baked game, underrated all in all.
Pretty much agree with everything else.
>Car handling was shit tho, literally everything understeered.
It did but it wasn't so terrible as reviews said. I played pro street last time like 5 months ago so it's fresh in my memory. But those high speed races were for me the real peak of PS.
It's the complete opposite actually. All of the underage retards on /o/ are into gen 2 Supras and MR2s. This "I HAVE NOSTALGIA FOR THE EIGHTIES EVEN THOUGH I WAS BORN IN 2005" phenomenon is making kids a lot more into old cars than millennials are or ever were.
No it's not
This game, undercover, the run and carbon will forever be unfinished betas rushed to release.
kek
The actual fuck is this?
>implying /o/ isn't full of millennials
It's virtually dead in the states. Unless you have connections and absolute shitloads of money, you can't get away with it. Just watch 1320 videos to see what I'm talking about. I live in DFW, Texas, where most of 1320s content comes from. Only trust fund kiddies and the like race on the streets in any organized capacity.
Some guys in my generation still race stoplight to stoplight, but it is not anything like what the 90s were. It's hard to explain, but I got my license around the time that Fast and the Furious style gatherings were happening in industrial parks in Houston. That sort of thing is done. Over. It's all Instagram car meets and Stancenation faggotry at this point.
The fantasy is there for millenials with shit like Hoonigan, but Zoomers literally have no interest.
>sales dictate quality
Huh, I guess Fifa is the game to end all games then.
I cant fucking wait
What most wanted 2012 was supposed to be before criterion ended up discovering they had little time to make the full project they wanted. It's why the final game ended up being burnout Paradise 2 with extras.
How can anyone possibly rank Carbon above Undercover? I have a feeling you fags aren't talking about the PS2 Undercover.
It's full of ironic weebs who watched Initial D two years ago. Millennial and gen-z alike.
>it's more popular so it must be better!
Hate to break it to you but normies are fucking retarded. Burnout 3 was ahead of it's time, with it's great damage model, fuckload of cars, breakneck sense of speed, satisfying takedowns, and 10/10 track design, stay salty ricey boy.
>decide to investigate why the fuck every single sequel dropped the ball hard
>guy left after the first Grid to make Forza Horizon forever
It all makes sense now.
This. The Zoomers on /o/ are fucking autists without cars, don't fool yourself. they like 90s JDM because it's the current zietgeist amongst Millenials and they're trying to fit in. Actual zoomers in real life drive Honda Fits and cuckovers without a care in the world about performance.
I cannot stress this enough. I'm an early millenial bordering on Gen X and have been involved in the car scene for a decade and a half. It is fucking dead. Millenials are just keeping it on life support. Boomers are actively trying to pull the plug and Zoomers are completely apathetic to it.
I played PS2 Undercover at a friends house once or twice and from what I recall it seemed a lot more like Most Wanted 2
NFS3 .... my fucking childhood
we will never get anything as good EVER
Burnout 3 soundtrack > underground soundtrack

I miss people who cared about driving fast for adrenaline rush and not about having the most riced and stanced car on meet up.
Nice, same atrocious handling from previous games, these fucking Criterion devs have their heads so far up their asses its unbelievable. Apparently 8 years of people bitching about this burnout mobile esque handling is not enought, I am done with this fucking franchise.
"Like MW but shit" is still faint praise tho. Carbon only really gets recognition because it rode off the curtails of it's predecessor.
And I grew up playing Carbon before I later got my hands on MW.
People forget just how fuckhuge Tri-City was for 2008 (it still is). Undercover could've stood it's own if it weren't executed so badly, it had far more potential what with being on a new engine and all.
True, but the 3rd person camera shake was horrendous.
terrible bait
bros ;_;
>GTAO
What did that have to do with it?
Again, that's not true at all. This "my car is just a thing to get me from A to B" idea is totally millennial. Zoomers are young, virile adults now that are rebelling against their scared helicopter parents. Even motorcycles are becoming popular again in my country. That isn't millennial-doing.
Same, dude. Back in the day, speed mattered, but a guy with a 400hp Supra was godlike and everyone would be chasing him. It meant diverse builds were not only possible, but encouraged. I knew guys with stripped N/A Miatas pushing 250 to the wheels, a dude with a PT Cruiser GT that was pushing 400, another with a EG Civic making 300 with a bottle, and way more. I had a fucking Mazda 626 and ran it against 305 G Bodies and Panthers and we had fun just seeing if we could break into 14s.
Now I daily a 400hp car that runs mid 13s and it's considered abyssmally slow for a sports car because you can go out and spend 60k on a Hellcat. It's all badge whoring and bench racing at this point. The soul of it is dead. I fucking hate it.
>in your country
Fine. In the US - in the second largest metroplex and fourth largest city in the US - it isn't. The car scene is dead here and no matter what happens in other countries, the US IS the automotive zeitgeist. We are the single largedt automotive market and the least regulated first world one. The interest is dying here, and with it goes auto enthusiast culture. The games reflect that.
Here’s your collector’s editon, bro.
Motorcycles aren't wrong though. Fast bikers were part of this whole street culture.
Payback 2
yeah, but they soft-killed his character already.

Not that user, but the early MC games didn't even have real car models. I guess many of those in the MC camp didn't need much in the way of convincing to jump on the GTAO gravy train if they wanted their custom fix, they're just knockoffs of IRL models anyways.

I AM THE ONLY CUNT IN THIS THREAD WHO ACTUALLY LIKES RACING GAMES
Well it can't be a player-driven game if it has a 500ms input delay like NFS PS4 has
Absolutely, that's my point. If gen-z didn't care about automotive pleasure and all drove crossover SUVs, they wouldn't be buying motorcycles.
I legitimately don't like Underground, though.
>FUCK OFF THEY'RE BOTH GOOD AND YOU SHITTING ON ONE OR THE OTHER IS WHY RACING GAMES ARE DEAD
If shitting on two different games in the same genre is what kills said genre than gaming as a whole would be fucking dead.
Even Burnout 2 has aged pretty well despite following a more traditional arcade formula.

>all these people in the comments crying about UG3
Even after over a decade. I fucking hate the nfs community.
It's no better than people constantly screeching for Sonic Adventure 3.
Hank Hill got absolutely M O G G E D
Sounds like EA were listening in old reviews from Furious Fernando.
I vaguely recall him wishing for a Pro street/MW crossover in his NFS Shift review.

I always liked the mechanic that made you keep using your boost, else you'd have to build it back up again, adds a whole new dimension to the risk + reward gameplay Burnout is known for. Glad they brought it back for Paradise.
>they actually gave us "la creatura"
lmaaaaaaaaooooOOOOooOOOoOOOoOOo
Undercover sucked massive fucking dicks. Carbon was the last decent NFS.
I'd like a word with you.

Yeah, you felt like you were the hottest shit when you could get a huge chain going and just dominate the whole race on your own skill
QUADS OF TRUTH
PROJECT GOTH4M WHEN?!
I can't think of another game that nailed the amateur/semi-pro race event atmosphere as well as Pro Street. You could practically smell the burger vans and fag smoke.
