Recently I'll be moving out of my home, and I need to save money, so I can buy only one game when it releases, and as you can guess, these two are candidates.
Which one would you choose? I like GreedFall ambitions, I'm eager to play an RPG, and it looks like the most rentable between prize-time. On the other hand, I LOVE Control aesthetic and feel, I'm curious about how they'll do 3D metroidvania, and looks gorgeus (plus, it releases earlier).
Discuss both games or only here, but let's be civil. God knows Yea Forums loves to create fandom wars out of nothing, but I trust this will be different.
Control only gets released in a year, so the choice is obvious.
Jason Howard
What? No, Control releases this August, and Greedfall in september.
Jayden Young
>Control releases this August No, it doesn't.
Colton Rivera
Yes it does, retard.
Jayden Richardson
control is just reskinned quantum break and it will of course be left wide open and never get a sequel to tell the rest of the story, so if you want to pay for a cliffhanger ending that you will never see the conclusion to go for it. otherwise get literally any other game.
Blake Young
Nope.
Aaron Powell
Control looks excellent. The IGN gameplay previews look absolutely kino in terms of combat and exploration and environmental storytelling. Greedfall looks very promising, but the developer has a history of promising looking games that are jank-fests.
OP here, seems like there's some confusion about what platform I play with, is PS4. PC is work only. If you know any other game for PS4 that releases about this time that's is worth it, suggestios are welcome.
By the way, does anyone know if pic related will be out on PS4? I heard the game sold porly and the studio had to fire people so...
>474061965 Oh, it's you, the almighty retarded wojakposter chink? Wanna lose another one proxy?
Kayden Turner
Get a good game like Judgment.
Owen Gomez
I would trust remedy to make better cinematic action game company making greedfall has steady track record of mediocre games
Mason Miller
why would you get control? its just going to be yet another remedy game that will never the sequel it deserves and be left unfinished. at best you'll get another middling 10 hour game sometime in the future that has some passing references to control/aw/qb that will just leave you even more disappointed. id honestly wait for a sale. greedfall will only be good if you liked technomancer despite its flaws. its another aa spiders game that will probably improve upon their previous games bu you have to be willing to put up with bugs and flaws. if you like flawed gems it has potential, otherwise id shop around for other games that will have much more lasting gameplay value which by the time you finish, control and greedfall will be on sale saving you money and getting you more gameplay value for your money.
Carter Lee
Why are you such a faggot?
Hudson Ward
To be honest, I've never played any of Remedy or Spiders games (though I was interested at first in Technomancer), so I can't really judge based on their track record, but rather a gut feeling. >why would you get control? its just going to be yet another remedy game that will never the sequel it deserves and be left unfinished How unfinished we're talking about? Sly 4 levels of unfinished? because in that case that fucking sucks. though some games are better without a sequel, I believe in the "short but sweet" type of experience. Bloodborne a huge example.

I buy all my games on Epic unless there is no other choce, then its gog, then last but not least steam.
alan wake was left on a huge cliffhanger, there was some minor references to it in qb quantum break was left on a huge cliff hanger, there will be some moniro references to it in control control will end on a huge cliffhanger, there will be some minor references to it in the next game this is rememdy's pattern; they make a game that hypes the shit out of a sequel and they never make it. again you'll get some other "in universe" years from now game with passing reference and that's it. gameplay and shotting will probably okay though, but very gimmicky with the director gun. greedfall is a gamble. spiders are an ambitious studio but they only have aa money so they can only try to deliver on so much. technomancer was a beat but flawed, you could see the potential to make it better. if you like rpgs with some jank and bugs then go for it. but again honestly id wait for a sale on both games and get something else.
Matthew Jenkins
okay chink

you think you're really cute don't you?

Redpill me on GreedFall. I hear nothing about it for months, then suddenly see the name, check it out, and it looks fucking good. So I'll play it, but is there anything I might want to know? Positive or otherwise.
Benjamin Hall
>but they only have aa money so they can only try to deliver on so much. aaa money only delivers graphics though and even that not consistently
