You should play Vivisector. The first couple hours suck because Ukrainians can't into hitscan mobs properly, but after that it's 10/10.

It was fun untill the last chapter, that shit almost made me drop the game.

it had a really good story and great moments on the train, the graphics were top tier, the moment to moment gameplay was good but was let down by the bullshit you have to do for a good ending as well as some clunky movement, but the guns are fun to shoot.

What a pleb opinion. The last chapter was the only good and Metro part about the game.

It's a great game to benchmark PC hardware.

Good. Kinda feels they threw in 2 big stalker areas in a Metro game. It’s decently fun but gets a little repetitive at times. I was going for completion and almost burned out at the end of the desert area.

I kinda feel like there could’ve been more fun to be had with the sandbox element. Like a bigger focus on survival with food, hydration and sleep systems would’ve been great.

Very long, unskippable in-game cut-scenes. Also far too scripted. It's a shame, because the guns and atmosphere are top notch.

I love the series and the books, STALKER is my favourite series of all time so needless to say I was hyped.

I’ve played through the game on NG+ several times over to get all endings and gun/suit upgrades - the open world levels (2.5 of them - you’ll understand the .5 when you get there) are like a very unstructured version of the new far cry - find a notable location with bandits/monsters inside and there’s probably some good loot to grab.

The other levels are classic metro style, except you now manage mechanical and chemical resources to craft consimables instead of collecting military rounds to “buy” them.

Also it has Dolby atoms surround sound - which sounds great.

It has an epic contract so there’s literally nothing to be gained talking about it on Yea Forums.

The world is way more emergent, immersive, and dense than the typical open world game, and the main objectives will bring you through most of it. It still does a really good job of rewarding curiosity like the other games and there's typically always SOMETHING neat to find or see. Also safehouses are EXTREMELY comfy.

Guns also feel good (all except for the shambler...they ruined it but the Ashot is beast and you get a double barrel for it pretty early) and the pace of upgrades is nice and smooth.

Its the easiest morality system there is. You can go in guns blazing as long as you don't keep killing after they surrender, there's only a few times where you have to be non-lethal

Its on Xbox Game Pass on PC though.
