So on August 3/4 10/11 and 12th. There will be some KanColle live event much similar to that of KanColle on Ice show known as 1YB3H’s Adventures in Wonderland.
Not much is known about the plot other than it'll invovle the Nishimura Fleet and that the circus is being run by Abyssals. And among the abyssals they will once again introduce an all new original live event only Abyssal villain called the Abyssal Chain Clown Oni being played by Masaki Kyomoto, a rather old and famous actor.
He also the first male abyssal in the Kancolle series.

As I was telling you, it's been years. If this was two years after the game started then I would see your point but not now since they never did it despite how characters like Hoppo and Wo were eclipsing a lot of the playable ones, they're happy regurgitating crappy designs over and over again because their audience likes to eat trash. The more hope you have in seeing them being playable the more you're going to suffer, just accept already that the faggots behind this game don't give a shit about them.

The problem is that they never had(and basically still don't have) any sort of origin or purpose to the abyssals besides being obligatory enemies to fight, which eventually gave way to the idea that abyssals are corrupted versions of sunk shipgirls and that by defeating them the resulting shipgirl drops are the ones you've purified somehow. This resulted in direct parallels like Destroyer Hime and Harusame. To make abyssals playable, they'd have to shit on the only abyssal lore they ever bothered establishing.
