There used to be SNES information in the metadata for the NES online app, but they removed it when people found out. Had a long list of SNES games.

There are plenty of good NES not on the app yet. I don't know why there have been picking bad games the past few months.

I hope not. I'm probably one of the few who prefers this over virtual console. I never bought virtual console games because I had the mindset that I could just emulate them. Since these games are coming with a service I already need to play online games, I actually enjoy having them portable.

I'll only be excited if these are buyable on the e-shop. If they're nintendo online games then there will be a few years to play these games before the service is gone and so are your save files.

At this point in time (11 months in), the Wii Virtual Console had the following:
>45 NES games
>22 SNES games
>9 N64 games
>41 TurboGrafx games
>13 Master System games
>36 Genesis games
>24 Neo Geo games
>190 total games
In contrast, the Switch only has... 48 NES games.

I loved it as a kid. My mom would rent the original one for me every weekend, then started renting the pro one when she saw that. Not sure why we didn't just buy it, but it felt more like a treat that way, only playing it on the weekend.

If they can port one then can port them all at once now. I see no reason not to. Switch is probably the ultimate Nintendo system but only if the company's full library is available. Play everything both on the TV and portable? It's one of the thoughts that convinced me to buy a Switch in the first place.

the kung fu one is p cool. my grandparents' store rented out NES games when I was a kid and of course i got to play whatever I wanted free. It's one of the obscure ones I remember liking.
