Because if I want to have some video game music playing while I do other things, I like being able to listen to stuff for a while. 30 minutes is a good amount of time for a single track. Also my friends and I use vidya OSTs for music sometimes when we do D&D, and its really convenient to have battle themes or whatever that last 30 minutes, so we don't have to constantly rewind the video.

Sometimes I would just open up a 30-minute extension of Space Junk Road from Mario Galaxy or Lazy Afternoons from KH2 and open VSCode and get the day's work done.
