Save your money. I played Mario Maker 1. It's horse shit. Every level is either a kaizo impossible fuck fest, a "don't move!" roller coaster that plays itself, or a 30 second nothing level. Remember what these games are. People have been hacking Mario games on PC forever, Nintendo decided to jump in 15 years late to the scene, and did it worse than dudes sitting in their bedrooms at the mom's house.

You just have to follow the correct people instead of just playing Endless.
But i agree that there are a lot of superior romhacks. But it's the same as with Flipnote back then. You get an active community and an easy platform along with the game. The fact that it is inferior to other creation tools only makes people test the limit of how much they can do with it.
