It is on zachtronics for not capitalizing on the block mechanic they created but actually expanding on the arena / deathmatch / team shooting aspect would be further retarded. The most fun I had out of floating islands was with the deep settings and starting off on one of the lower islands. You have to grow trees under what little sunlight you had and build a tower upwards to reach the next island.

The reason why you don't hate Dithering is because you probably are browsing this board on a CRT monitor, where the pixels blend into each other and create more color. but it's 2019 where true transparency and greater color range should be standard. I too enjoy old games but I hate that I have to plug in an old game on a CRT, worse have to plug it in to a CRT WITH COMPOSITE because the game suffers fron color limitations from the console it is on, so the devs had to use Dithering or stips of alternating color because they know that a CRT with composite cables blend the colors together

Depending on how the game is coded (and if it actually isn't using js and he wasn't memeing for reactions) dithering is a powerful tool for reducing memory usage. If you pallet is only a small number of colors it means you don't need to load as much per instance of using that pallet.

Imagine something hunting you down in this terrain and all you can do is try to hide in the endless world until you become strong enough to face it. Then, you go down the depths of the world with each creature you encounter being more and more dangerous than the last. Completely unforgiving and always wanting to fuck you over every step you take
