This game does both of these badly though. Only the dlc is good in this game and every single other thing from character progression, "decisions", sidequests, the main story, the combat, the visuals, the atmosphere, itemization, the world and level design, and pretty much everything else is shit. Play the complete edition and choose to start from the dlc to skip all the main shit is the only way to go

It was definitely flavor of the month a few years ago. Everyone played it, even my normie friends, people had never even heard of witcher before 3 came out. At least Yea Forums had people dickriding witcher 2 long before it came out.

Its real, nu-fun is a hollow dopamine stimulator with coating of true fun but no challenge or learning experience that came with it.
Videogames are literally dead, there has not been a single good game in more than a decade, with few stuff like bayonetta, DMC 5, sekiro, underrail, maybe Xenoblade 2 barely, but even those are nu-fun just closer to old fun.

A pure story game would be a VN and those are a lot of fun. A pure gameplay game would be an online only, no story game. A good story game sticks with you for the rest of your life. A good gameplay game gets played more but you're really just wasting time unless there's monetary gains that comes from mastering a game. I'm not an autist, I don't like autists or the mentally handicapped, so you seem like retards to me for playing the same damn game, day in and day out none stop. Just to shave seconds off a world record or compete in a tournament.

Time is money and if you're not making it by playing, then it's time to move on.
