For a character who was kind of a weak bitch on my first impression, Ashe had a lot of intriguing background and I'm bummed it ever goes anywhere. His pre-timeskip "angry" face gave me punished Dimitri vibes. I kind of wish Ashe and other characters who had plausible reasons to defect from their default path got timeskip paralogues where you could recruit them if you poached them pre-skip (instead of just having them magically be there). Help Ashe kill Knights for more info to exonerate his bro, help Ferdie free his fatass dad from political jail, pick up Lys while she's wandering around looking for a cure for Crest AIDS, etc.

Dedue and Shamir supports are hilarious and pretty 4th wall aware. My friend doesn't understand why I think Ashe is such a good character. Try to pair him with other house units, sadly I only really saw him and Caspar and it was pretty funny.
