To be fair, I'm pretty sure the PC version is fine. A friend who went through the same bullshit got the Ps4 version and he has experienced random performances issues which honestly shouldn't be there. The game is actually really fucking good and I'm super close to beat it, but I refuse to keep playing until they fix it. It's not even possible to grind for items/shards since there's a good chance the fucking thing will crash before I make it to a save room.
There's no need for hostility between these two games. The only problem I even have with Bloodstained is the stupid slutty outfit of the main character. Otherwise it's a non-issue.
