I had it installed with the Xbox mod but my CPU temps often got to 90 so I had to stop playing it if I didn't want my CPU to melt

recently completed the entire trilogy again but i do keep GTA 3 around for random rampaging

I find GTA III has the comfiest map. It's big enough to have fun driving around, but small enough that you can learn the streets like the back of your hand. I could almost drive around the first island with my eyes closed

I limited it to 60 FPS because I know higher than 30 there are problems but with 60 FPS I only experienced some ped lines being cut.
I think my fans are just broken desu

If you shot any random car they would go crazy as well, driving all over the place. Endless fun taking a single shot at a civilian vehicle then chasing them all over the city at top speed. One thing they got wrong in Vice City, if you shot a civilian car they would just get out and run away, disappointing desu.

To this day, Rockstar won't allow the third person camera or first person view inside the metro, even in GTA V. Why? It is so much more atmospheric to be able to be in the metro and see the world go by outside the window than having a "cinematic" camera outside the coach. Mafia 1 did it better and that was in 2002. The cinematic camera for trains, the subway and the metro were in Iii, SA, IV and V. It would be such a simple change to improve immersion, yet they won't do it. Same with auto-centering in vehicles in first person view in V, even in taxis as a passenger.
