Eternia on PS4 when?

I'm currently still traversing the labyrinth in Vesperia. Boss fights are neat, but the enemies are boring so I put to easy to run through them. Legendia is my favourite. It has so many lovable quirks that really make the game stand out. Tales in general has been going in the wrong direction as of late and while Arises doesn't look like it's going back on track. I hope that that at the very least it feels like a good game.

There's going to be a lot of brown robot enemies that absorb all magic and have 3000 p.def so I strongly suggest you Brutal Fang those until they flash blue then Shining Eagle to fatal strike them because they will take 10 years to kill otherwise

I had a lot of fun playing Legendia, I like the battle system, mostly because I enjoyed the 2D battle systems the most. But why was there so much promotional material for this game?

On easy and with Rita using Fireballe (10-12) or meteor storm pretty much slaughters any enemy in quick session. I noticed at first when I first started attacking that I was only doing 1 damage. pure bull shit.

Oh, this I could get behind too.

I love the battle system. I honestly prefer 2D linear system for Tales. They feel more inclusive when fighting. My guess was that they thought it was going to be really huge being made by the Soul Calibur team. It was clearly overshadowed by Abyss and under-performed sales wise.

I'm going back and forth between PS3 Symphonia, Eternia, and Zestiria. So far Zesteria is an ok game. I heard a lot of people didn't like the battle system, but I like it, reminds me of playing Till the End of Time and Last Hope. I'm already at Balir Castle in Eternia, I feel like I'm almost done with the game and I haven't even reached disc 3 or collected the final characters yet. The story is also oddly paced, and I feel like there's a lot of crucial story threads that were just cut from the game for whatever reason, and I don't just mean the skits.

Equip sash+1, set everyone but Rita to do nothing, go to an early area of the game with weak enemies and unleash a flurry of Tidal Waves. You will gain massive amounts of grade.

After playing Berseria I had a new found respect for Zestiria if that makes any sense. How are you enjoying Symphonia and Eternia? Does it feel weird switching between 2D and 3D titles?

Yeah, been meaning to do this before I fight the "secret" boss fight after I finish up the arena. Thanks for reminding me.

It's a bit more involved than that; the optimal strategy is to equip Light Magic, O.L. Boost, Lucky End, Spell End, Reducer, OVL Bonus 2, and a Wonder Symbol on Rita, then have Raven with High Tension, Karol with Member Taunt, and Repede with Double Appeal, with all three of them equipped with Blue Dice(if possible); then get into an encounter with as many generator boars(near Halure at night) as possible, ideally 8, and by switching between OVL1 and OVL3 if low on TP you should never run out of either gauge
Made about 6,000 grade in an hour that way and that was with a lot of fuckups

I would love to make her pregnant.

Berseria.

I am extremely annoyed, more than I was with Vesperia. trying to 100% this game is fucking bullshit.

You're a lucky bastard, Stahn

Dude was pretty based.

This will be my first time taking on the Sword Dancer in all 3 locations. It's cliched to say but I fucking love Symphonia, though of all the games I've played, I enjoy Eternia's overworld theme the most, and I really enjoy those older battle systems. But Like I said previously, it feels like they had more planned for it and then scrapped it all due to budget or time constraints. I'm 20 hours in and I don't feel like I should be taking on this Balir guy yet, I don't even know who the hell he is or what he looks like outside of the minuscule dialogue describing him as simply the ruler of the world.

Well that would certainly explain why 20 minutes only ever netted me like 40 grade. I was doing just the basics and fighting guards outside of the starting city.

I don't have a PS4, but what is Berseria like? Is it open world, does it use a hub? Are the characters whiny bastards? What's the battle system like?

It's like a slightly less shitty Zesteria. Hallway world, CC battle system. No world map and loads of DLC.

>gets asked out on a date by an oberon executive
>ends up as the only married protagonist in the series
>with the cutest main girl in the series
>even their kid is one of the only protagonists to have an explicit relationship with the main heroine
Stahn the Cunt Slayer

Best part? Stahn's seed is so based, his kid actually fucks time so hard it not only undoes his fathers death, but just wills his girlfriend back into existence.

No game can do an overworld like Vesperia.

Never played one, where's the best place to start? My options are Gamecube, Wii U, Switch, Vita, DS, 3DS. PS4 is an option too, but I'd rather do one of the other systems unless the absolute best one is only PS4.

Symphonia or Vesperia

Symphonia and Vesperia are both great choices.

Attached: framedmisc2.jpg (3108x2224, 448K)

Well honestly I would either start with Symphonia on the GC, or Abyss on the 3DS. They are classic Tales in the sense that they have a traditional overworld, classic battle systems with no retarded gimmicks, a 255 level cap and are super fucking long.

If you like both of those then play Hearts on the Vita, and if you have an R4 card, you can get a rom of Tales of Innocence with an english patch and boy that game is huge for an original DS title. Now in my opinion, Vesperia is the best Tales game ever made, and the definitive edition is on the PS4, but that's up to you man.

I guess you need to start with Vesperia to get a thread to bump limit
