I just beat The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories

It's by the same guy who did Deadly Premonition. It's a very interesting game, but not one I would recommend to everyone. I am glad I played it though.

they skipped sinnoh so sinnoh's next
you can travel between kanto hoenn and unova
you have to start in one region, after getting 8 badges in your home region, you can go to the other two regions
I started in kanto, and before starting the League, decided to jump between Hoenn and unova while doing both their sets of gyms at the same time
the devs amped up the difficulty a bit so it's challenging
i.e. some gyms have an extra mon/higher lvls and tournament rules are in effect, can't switch out after making your opponent's pokemon faint

I played the game years ago when only Kanto was available, it's nice to see they added more content. I think I'm going to start playing it again.

If you use the randomzier tool you can have a setting so trade evos evolve naturally. Like at level 36 Kadabra evolves

You can swap Regions any time by the 4th gym, not 8th. Just go to the Port City and theres a ship there

What gen is the battle system based on if it has gen 3 and 5? I assume the physical special split is in, but is it just gen 5 battling in kanto and hoenn

Just put in the rom and alter settings and it changes the rom to accommodate. However idk if it works on saves or just creates a new rom so you should make a copy of the rom before you use it. I think it works on PC but if you alter a rom on PC then put it on some file sharing site like Dropbox or Google and download it on phone then the rom should work.
