Don't get hit, don't play easy mode, use your fucking bombs because they regenerate every time you die. Learn what streaming is as a lot of aimed attacks are nearly impossible to dodge unless you know to just slowly move in one direction faster than the bullets. Pretty much everything else is pretty intuitive, remember that the actual "goal" is to get a 1cc which means beating the game without using continues. That said, just use continues as a new player otherwise you won't be getting past stage 2.

Also, play the other 2hus as well or you will get bored pretty quick as the games kind of suck until you get good.

Green heads when they activate will clear away enemy bullets around you, it's super OP. Red heads when they activate will increase the power of your default, wide-spread shot. Blue heads when they activate will increase the power of your focused shot (hold shift to focus)

Green stars are pieces of bombs and pink hearts are pieces of extra lives. Every 5 gives you an extra bomb or heart, you can see it tracked on the right. Also if you can clear all six stages without using a continue you unlock the extra stage for one more boss. Good luck, I know you can do it. Maybe not today but someday soon.

Holy shit ZUN has gotten bad at coloring, the color scheme for most of the new characters are dog shit, like, the final boss' outfit looks like it was made from rubber ducks, i made a few tweaks to the colors and it looks much better, cranking those photoshop filters to max saturation doesn't make you good at coloring, get a grip ZUN.

Every five green stars you pick up, so it's a little slow. Also the spellcards clear enemy bullets so you usually want to wait to hold them until a boss throws a pattern you're not sure you can dodge at you.

But if you hold shift you focus your shot and should blast whatever's in front of you something fierce.
