They have the essential characters, anyone else is just fluff. Stage-wise is alright but there is a bit of crap, I wish they'd do something from the newer games too.

The main 3 are fine, but compared to what other franchises get they could use another. Either Waddle Dee, Adeline or Magolor.

Nothing past SNES is represented. Needs a RTDL stage or Robobot Stage.

Maybe an assist trophy from a newer game (Taranza, Suzie) but other than it's fine.

Very good. Halberd being present encourages a lot of boss themes to be used. Could use more remixes from later games.

Good, but a lack of a Kirby 64 spirit will always strike me as odd.
The biggest issue with Kirby's representation is that a bulk of it is Sakurai stuff. I'd love to see Kumazaki stuff be represented more.

It's got the three most important characters playable and two of the best stages in the series, but everything else is fucked because it's mostly jerking off Sakurai's own stuff. The assist selection is a complete joke. Smash 4 should've added stages from Amazing Mirror and Return to Dreamland. Another character isn't necessary, but would be neat.

Needs more Shimomura / Kumazaki stages and music. Waddle Dee is the obvious next newcomer in line no matter how hard Yea Forums tries to delude themselves that he's not but he's not an absolute must in comparison to just better general representation as a whole

For new ideas for Smash stages, I always thought one based on the final battle area for Triple Deluxe would have been a good one, preferably the True Arena version to prevent walk-offs. They put in the stage's theme as an alternate music for existing Kirby stages, but not the stage itself. Oh, well.
