I have no one to play with and playing just with the computer is boring, also the games don't have a goal, just to be as good as you can, I like games to have a goal so when I stop playing I feel like I finished them, not just dropped them
But I do
You guys realize juri is a nymphomaniac right
because im not a nigger
i do and i fuckin suck
I don't handle them well. Too stressful for my taste.
Post the instant loss.
Yes and?
But I do. I enjoy the intensity of 1 on 1 combat.
I do, but I only play superior Arcsys games
I do. Well I'm hiatus because I've injured my arms, but prior to that I did
The followup should've been her getting happily married
Too busy lining my brain with cum I guess
I'm not asian or black so I have no chance at winning in them anyway
Well that's a twist.
they require too much effort and aren't satisfying to me
i love juri tho
My old man reflexes makes it impossible to have good execution
Reflexes are such a meme
I play scarlet weather rhapsody because I have a vast intellect.
Boring. I don't play any online competitive games. I only play single player story focused games.
I'll need to see it to believe for myself
Not an excuse, Alex Valle still plays and beats up youngsters.
Valle kept playing since he was young, so his reflexes are better than the average guy at the same age, a casual player won't have the same level of preservation
I'm bad at them and don't enjoy them enough to spend my time learning how to get good at them.
Currently playing MK11 and Tekken.
May try SC6 soon.
He also has like 30 years of experience behind him. I only play a few weeks out of the year and get whomped online and can't even do "basic" combos in SF. I just poke and do specials, that's the extent of my skill.
yes, but a casual player won't be fighting infiltration or bonchan or oil king or whatever. I'm sure this guy has still been playing video games, and as long as it wasn't walking simulators or something, i'm sure his reflexes are fine.
1. Fighting games are dead on PC besides SFV which put a rootkit on and Tekken which I'm not a fan of
2. None of my friends/coworkers play even on console
I pretty much just want what Tekken has but for Street Fighter
>Decent roster
>Good soundtrack
>Good artstyle
>In-depth training mode
>Well-populated unranked matchmaking mode that just lets me play against other people
>Things I know that I'll clap for when I see them
I may just be nostalgic for games I played in high school but I LOVED MVC3/SFIV and I just wish that Capcom could put out another fully-featured game like that instead of piecemeal bullshit.
He's uses his superior experience to make sure he never finds himself in situations where he needs to use his reflexes to win.
I don't have access to tournaments or training partners
My internet is also trash so being a wifi warrior isn't an option
I still practice from time to time so when the rare occasion comes up where I find actual people to play with, I can still be on a decent level with them
Also there are barely any good fighting games to play right now outside of Tekken and UNIST
Sure SamSho seems nice but I wouldn't ever be able to get anyone to play that shit with me
All of my friends are shit at fighting games. I have no locals anywhere nearby. Online is shit most of the time.
I live in a third world country so every match would be a lagfest with players thousands of kms away.
I have literally given up on ever enjoying fighting games
That too. The main games I have played in the last year were American Truck Sim and Cities Skylines. I don't have the experience nor the reflexes for fighting games, though I do enjoy the characters and like dabbling in them here and there.
Because i'm not a fan of memorizing ridiculous combo lists that require me to twist my arcade stick six or more times and slam in buttons simultaneously. I prefer beat-em-ups when it comes to arcade games.
>good art style
We had that in 3 and 4, just not anymore. Q or 12 would have looked gorgeous in 4's aesthetic too.
If I'm gonna play multiplayer ita usually something at least 4 player with my bros. Otherwise I just stick to single player
>Juri being the dom in an Instant Loss
perfection
I do, though. In fact I love them. The problem is that I'm not spending money on PS4 or Switch online and my PC can't run the modern active games (of course it can run Fightcade but I'm not always in the mood for those).
I just downloaded Akatsuki Blitzkampf yesterday though. I had watched some gameplay before but I'm now really impressed with the systems, the sprite work, and the music. Kanae is a lot of fun (not surprising since I play grapplers 90% of the time), love her oki and 6C loops.
At this point, I only play fighting games. I don't have patience for anything else.
I almost wish I was like that so I could focus on them but I have a good-sized single player backlog. I have that EVO fever right now though. I even downloaded that Footsies game just to try it.
Too hard, friends won't bother with them.
Unless you live in central africa or a remote island in Oceania, there are probably SFV players around you.
I do. I've bought at least ten different fighting games this gen. I have slow internet though so I usually play offline.
This.
>tell friends about free SFV week so we can all play together
>5 days pass
>check in to see what's up
"yeah I couldn't get it working, sorry, it looks dumb anyway"
>Decent roster
>Good soundtrack
>In-Depth Training mode
I'm not a big fan of SFV but if you pick up AE you get these. SFV has a really robust suite of Training options and getting the first couple seasons-worth of characters makes the roster pretty solid (although parts of S3 like Cody, G, & Sagat really help fill it out). Music is definitely better than SFIV's as well; only example of IV being better is Poison's theme.
SFIV had a good aesthetic going with the ink but man the models did not age well. The best-looking ones were the Ultra IV newcomers that came from SFxT, and also Oni (I really like some of the effects on his attacks). SFV isn't the prettiest game in the genre (not at all compared to anything Bamco or ArcSys are putting out really, barring BBTag's technicolor nightmare) but it's a step up.
>Why dont you play fighting games?
It's pretty hard to play when the left hand is on the keyboard and the right hand is on the "stick".
>fighting games are dead on pc
>what is guilty gear, unist, fightcade, blazblue
Retard, kill yourself.
What are the good training options? Genuinely curious. The frame data bar goes in real time in 1/60s of a second which is too fast to even read, let alone be useful. I can't believe they made it this way. I still have to go online to look up the stats.
LOOOOOOOOL
I'm 18 and my reflexes have always been garbage. I can actually see the stuff coming a second away sometimes but I just stand and drool there like a tard
I haven't played the game in a while but I recall being able to do a lot of things with recordings and wakeup options as well as some frame data, and I hear that it's gotten more features over time.
I think FighterZ has gotten the most post-launch Training improvements though. The frame data and reversal options are actually really good these days. I wish it had hitboxes though; I want to see exactly how stupid some of Bardock's moves are.
You're one of those left handed fightstick users
I understand
LOOOOOOOOL
Kill yourself retard.
fighting games are no longer worth getting into, that's why.
Yea Forums discussion on fighting games nowadays is just:
>HITOMI IS MY WIFE
>I WANT TO LICK RAMLETHAL'S ARMPITS
Fighting games also used to ship with all of their content on the fucking disc. Now it's just:
>6 US DOLLARS FOR TIRA
>6 PAID DLC LEGACY CHARACTERS FOR TEKKEN, DESPITE HARADA SAYING OTHERWISE
>PLEASE ENJOY OUR PREMIUM PRICED MOBILE GAME MK 11, NOW PAYS US MORE MONEY FOR SOUL STONES
Fighting games used to have robust content to enjoy, both offline and on, now it's just:
>Play online against glorified ultra difficult AI, shh, we don't speak of customization anymore, just enjoy product, consume and then move onto other fighting game
Fighting games used to retain a community longer than a month, now it's just an over saturated market:
>gee, which new fighting game flavor of the month can I pick now and enjoy for a week and then drop, because my zoomer pee pee is drawn to another waifu sim--er, I mean fighting game coming out next month!
Fighting games used to be about the community, but now it's about:
>GUYS DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THAT PAKISTANI WHO WON EVO? SO COOL, *celebrity gossip intensifies*
Fighting games no longer reward the player equal in proportion to the time put in to git gud at them.
>BBTag's technicolor nightmare
Shit taste
Been busy with FFXIV lately, about to get back into SamSho now that Rimururu is out.
I do, I have over 300 hours in SCVI, but it’s hard because if I take a break to play other games for a while it feels like I have to do all this catching up and relearn things like I’m studying for a class or something
Video games shouldn’t feel like studying, I already spent 28 years of life to get a doctorate, I don’t need a minor in frame data for every character
>230 players
>this is supposed to be a lot
are you retarded? that's dead as fuck. you wouldn't even be able to find anyone to play with unless you like playing with japs on the other side of the world.
because getting good is not fun unless you have at least one friend who is at your skill level and equally as dedicated to the game.
You're retarded, I open up a lobby and in 5 minutes it's full. Kill yourself retard. If you're desperate you can also go play with a d*scord.
Nobody to play with, i play smash with my friends soetimes bt they arent very good and quit pretty quick when i start playing seriously
Shit's insane. I watch these Tekken commentators and they'll say "that move is +4" or whatever and it's like how can you even remember that, each character has like 120 moves and there's 50 characters, and you remember the frame data for every thing to be able to pull it out at a second's notice? That is some Rainman shit right there.
full of japs and brs with 10f of delay. if you think that's playable i don't know what to tell you.
>fighting games look like the hypest shit ever
>fgc is just my type of autism
>so many aesthetic fighting games (MvC, Skullgirls, GG)
>many many games and fighters to choose from
>have the reflexes of a geriatric retard
>any talk of learning frame data bores me to death
>becoming pro sounds like a nightmare of a task
I can't see how learning about all this frame data bullshit can still render the game fun so ill just remain a casual for now
I'm EU and I find players every time I open a lobby with good connection, the same thing is happening in Guilty Gear too.
sure you do. boot up blazblue and take a picture of the lobby list i fucking dare you.
Odds are you'll never be a pro, but the fun comes in just getting to the highest level you can get to and always overcoming that next plateau. Don't try to think of it as an all or nothing deal when it comes to improvement.
GAMER
this board is hetero exclusive brother
gonna have to ask you to leave
how do we fix it
>have the reflexes of a geriatric retard
Don't bother then. If you cannot react to most mixups you will never be anything bit shit.
This. Follow Roo's advice and just have fun.
Cause I don't know how to learn the game and online keeps blowing me up.
We don't. Corporations are too greedy for real fighters to stand a chance.
Nice feet
Used to in college, played a shitton of umvc3 cause people can just hop over to the room, plug in, get drunk and start playing. I just can't recapture that magic and playing over network is just lame.
Too hard to understand especially if it's the movement minus SC6 and Smash which is a lot more free than more traditional fighting games. Only one I kinda understand is UNIST. I would like to learn SFV though
>Love fighting games
>Rural area
>Terrible internet
>Nobody I know plays them
I don't need to play them to masturbate to their girls.
Frame data is kind of a meme. Not entirely, but the piece of actually knowing the specific numbers is a meme. You simply need to know ‘this move is pretty slow, this move is pretty fast’
The frame data is there and it’s accurate but the actual numbers are unimportant and are mainly something middling brain-style tournament players swear by. You get much more mileage out of instead focusing on in game experience and codifying it as ‘when Bob does that move and I block, my low kick is guaranteed’
Same situation for me, but I still try my best to enjoy them.
This. Frame data boils down to "Can I punish that on block, and if so, with what?" At most you compare two numbers from two different moves once and then make a connection, and the latter is what you memorize.
>tfw lab monster and can enjoy fighting games solo if necessary
I've put 1100+ hours into Marvel 3 Training Mode alone. I've got close to 300 in DBFZ's as well. Spent my whole evening on the 8th cracking open Janemba in the lab.
I do but only for like a few months
it's really impressive to me how a lot of people can play the same shit for more than a decade and still continue to be play it
I want to get inty Guilty Gear but don't even know where to start. Should I just get the latest iteration or start from some previous game? It's all so daunting seeing that long list of games.
I suck and im too lazy to improve
There's a new one being developed now so maybe wait for that and get in on ground zero.
It’s all about fundamentals.
The thing about Guilty Gear (and a lot of fighting game series) is that before DLC and even after for a little while there were a LOT of iterations on the same game released as new games. OG players of the series will have preferences for certain versions in the middle because of how a system worked or how their character was strong in that version, but generally you only need to care about a handful. The main ones to play for Guilty Gear are GGXX Accent Core +R and GGXrd Revelator 2, the most recent versions of XX & Xrd.
I'd recommend trying them out so you get a feel for what Guilty Gear "is" but you don't need to get too deep into learning them because a new game that promises to be a little easier to get into is coming in the next 18 months. Xrd in particular has a really great tutorial that will give you the basics.
nICE kolin
It’s fun when you git gud
>People saying that they have bad reactions/execution as a reason to not play
Just play SamSho my man. You make 3-5 correct reads and you win; if you can cancel a normal into a special or super then you can do 90% of the combos.
That's what also makes it so confusing. If you go my single player story to differentiate the games those are the ones to go by?
i play samsho but i suck. shitty old man reflexes and remembering frame data and punishes can be a chore. still, fighting games are the most aesthetic genre next to shmups so i always come back after a break from a long losing streak.
I live in Seattle and I’m a WiFi Warrior. Where do I even start?
I know that's why I play them for months before stopping compared to the usual few weeks on every other video game
for a decade though? yikes
Terrible netcode and matchmaking coupled with garbage offline community. I'd rather just fap to the characters.
Guilty Gear in particular has a fucked up and confusing story, so much so that stuff introduced in Revelator & Rev 2's supplementary material is required to fully understand the climax of the very first game. You can really just get by with reading a synopsis of 1/X/XX/2 (2 isn't a fighting game at all but is VERY important to Xrd's story) and watching the Xrd story modes (it's not even a playable story, they basically do in-engine OVAs).
Also only like a third of the playable cast is important to the main plotline.
I want to get good at tekken but it's so boring in a beginner level. I go to training, practice kbd for 15 mins, get bored and log off for the day. I want to learn kbd and my character's bnbs and options before going online otherwise I would just he wasting my time mashing. Fuck kbd. It's a useless input barrier that shouldn't even be in the game
>ywn get to sniff Juri's rubber suit after a long day of beating the shit out of people
>feel bad when I lose
>feel bad when I win
I'm starting to feel like it's time to let go.
Start by getting off of Wifi. Save that, look for local groups in your area, I'm sure there has to be something.
It just looks like you're using the same 5 moves though
nobody even KBDs until high level
t. red rank
>feel bad when I win
why
Stop playing SFV
because my brain shuts down under pressure most of the time I keep buying them though
he probably feels like he didn't win by skill but by being lucky and guessing a lot, or something like that.
what a retard, just backdash and sidestep if you can't kbd
also on what controller do you play
I went to locals
now I need to figure out basic social skills
you sound like a 11yr girl
Better spider on the right
Never really played them growing up, I feel like the only community that still plays is autistic try hard that don't stop playing
Harder than multiple 1-link frames for sure.
I don't want to spend 200 dollars for a decent fightstick
>you don't need a fightstick
fuck off yes I do, I literally can't do half circles with the shitty dualshock 4 pad
It's easier when you're at those places, because everyone is there for the same reason. You all have something relate-able to talk about that you're interested in.
Just play some matches and talk after, or during casual games. Most players like giving advice about their character.
LIIIIIINK
Evo winners have won using pads, user. Some of the best in the FGC are on pad, too. There's no excuse for yourself.
play on keyboard then retard
>, I literally can't do half circles
You just might be shit
Its mizarusketch you can see the signature in the first pic
Some of the best players use pad actually, it's all comfort and preference.
You can do it if you practice. KBD on ds4 pad hurts my thumb though.
>I literally can't do half circles with the shitty dualshock 4 pad
How? Literally just roll your finger from one direction to the opposite over down.
it all boils down to practice, some of the best players in the world right now use pads, and pads are becoming more and more common as the arcade generation fades away.
>Karin 2.0
How do we stop her form destroying the balance of the game?
Playing samsho, practising GG and KoF98
Has RL been thrown out of any other community lately? If even LoL and the FGC won't take you then you must truly be the biggest of cunts.

Sometimes I feel bad when I win because I think the other guy didn't have fun or I was too hard on him.
wasnt that hard to find
rule34.xxx
Me on the right underneath
nah, it is the one who got banned from leddit for constantly posting his own articles
People CAN win on pad, but honestly stick is better, and I saw this as someone who never touched an arcade stick in my life until Tekken 7 came out. QCFs are so much easier, let alone half circles. Hori RAP4 Kai is around $130, maybe less on sale. It works on PC and PS4 so you get two sticks in one almost.
Who cares that they had fun or not? You're playing to beat them. If they didn't have fun because they lost then they're not enjoying the game. If you don't have fun playing a fighting game winning or losing you shouldn't play it to begin with.
>Karin 2.0
How do we stop her form destroying the balance of the game?
Stop playing, then the meta never develops
-My IRL friends don't play. My friends that did play quit or have fallen out of practice. Most of my other friends have zero interest in the genre.
-Playing online is garbage due to lag/latency
-Capcom fighting games suck this generation
>Mahvel isn't a thing this generation
I used to play fighting games as an serious-business-online-ladder-grinder, but now I just play casually so I can look at pretty waifus.
WAT'S WRONG? YA NEED A CUP O' CAWFEE?
I play on dualshock 4 and use d pad. Also you need kbd to be good at the game that's like saying don't special cancel is street fighter. Not trying to say all people who can kbd are good but all good people kbd regularly
But life is about winning or losing.
Honestly the PS4 Dpad fucking sucks for quarter circles. I prefer the Xbox One Controller's Dpad for fighters but Microshit got rid of the wire and are forcing bluetooth connection
I dunno, her fireballs are annoying as shit. also it seems like every single one of her buttons and specials is safe or plus as fuck, and i'm sitting over here with a -6 fierce, and a -7 forward roundhouse
About to blow my FM wad on her, Poison, and Honda.
I just am hesitant that at the end of the year there'll be a bundle with them, Kage, and some more newbies for a better price.
I used to play them all the time but SFV kinda killed the vibe for me, and it really hasn't been same since although I still play them, just not as much. I do want to start getting back into them way more now. On another note does anyone here play Tekken and have experience on stick and pad? I haven't played much of the game and want to get to learning it but I've always heard small talk of people say some things such as movement is easier on pad. I don't mind learning either but I'd like a little insight on this.
You really don't. When I first started I was on pad but then I switched to Stick and initially regretted my purchase because it felt so different but after a while I was much more comfortable on stick and it became my go to controller. It really comes down to personal preference and how much time you want to invest. No peripheral is going to make you better for your lack of time investment.
>all good people kbd
i think saint doesn't kbd at all
>but honestly stick is better
its literally just preference
I play on stick because its more comfortable for me but there are plenty of top players that play pad because they like it more
Punk, ProblemX, Sonicfox etc. win huge events on pad they're arent trying to intentionally gimp themselves as a powerplay
Discuss.
And the way to win is to defeat yourself.
Doesn't look too difficult unless the time window is a bitch between motions
Because you need the reaction time of a 12 year old or you have to sniff adderall and on top of that they aren't very interesting to me to begin with
>Vindicator rank in Tekken
>Can still do this easy in a match
Explain this executionlet
you're supposed to cancel st.hp into hands no matter. On block cancel into light hands so youre +2, on hit cancel into h or ex hands so theyre fucked up. Even if you cant reliably hit confirm off it every form of hands is unpunishable
FM is free so you might as well get them now and build some FM off of leveling new characters unless you really love costumes and shit
No i know about the cancel, and spacing it so that you always can cancel, but it does make it very predictable and they can react with v-reversal.
>Muh reactions
Literally no pro player plays fgs purely on reactions
Which game is that for? Depending on the input leniency, you could just wiggle the stick back, forward, back, forward on the diagonals.
Okay kid. The reality is different
SNK input read isn't that lazy, even tekken isn't that crap.
i wish that was me.
in that situation you forced a brick of v meter for free or you can take vt2 and cancel into the running bear to punish the vreversal for free and get a set up
Keep making excuses for not getting gud.
>not playing solely through reactions
This is why Smash is the most popular fighting game.
And fuck off if you don’t think it’s a fighting game. At minimum, it’s a platform fighter.
because it requires an autistic amount of memorization. I'd rather fill my head with actually useful information
WTF is that nigger doing
Too much adderall?
Just the right amount to play fighting games competitively
It's a joke
Because they're mostly too fast and too complicated for my tiny brain to get better at, and I hate losing so much that I get genuinely angry and sad if I lose too much.
SCVI is the only one I've managed to have fun with and that's because I can make custom characters and play the RPG mode. Or fight against my sister who is worse than me, and that makes me feel better, but then she doesn't want to play any more.
And I recently got into FFXIV which has the custom character dressup, and also has the shallowest difficulty curve in the world. It makes me feel good so I play that instead.
Imagine thinking a half circle motion is too complicated
I play fighters, but with no local scene it just doesn't feel as fun as it could be. Nothing betas playing locally.
>smashfags desperately try to define a subgenre so they can fit in
lmao
>I hate losing so much that I get genuinely angry and sad if I lose too much.
Why though? Losing is how you learn and get better. It's like that Twilight Zone episode where the gambler dies and goes to heaven and every slot machine hits the jackpot every time and he realizes he's really in Hell. You need the losses to make the wins feel good.
This is the modern game
I can't be bothered to spend hours and hours and hours in training mode. Thought about buying a Hitbox because i'm a brainlet and trying to play them
isnt that just a circle?
Gamer*
Yea i haven't messed around with vt2 yet, just been enjoying the 300+ damage combos with vt1 guaranteed.
>I get genuinely angry and sad if I lose too much
I wish I could stop it
>it's video games why am I getting mad/sad
>just gets worse
Because i have money to play them
Anybody got Piccolo's Super DBZ movelist where his Level 3 is literally a star?
Blond fighter V
vt2 is probably a little worse but its got some pretty good stuff, you can also get it twice in 1 round depending on how your opponent plays
I don't really learn most of the time though. I'd say like a small fraction of the time when I fail at something I actually learn from it, most of the time I just feel bad and don't learn anything. Like I can learn/remember some stuff easily, but anything else it just glides off like my brain is teflon.
I also have a problem where if I start losing I get the urge to keep losing because that's all I can do. Like I'm proving a point to some invisible observer that I'm trash and not worth anything.
When I originally got SCIV and started playing online I'd record my wins and losses and post on here about how I'd get wrecked 30 or 40 games without a single win. When I did eventually win a match it was kind of a let down.
Now you're motivated!
teach me your ways
First thought: Gay
I'm back to play Tekken after 20 years, and I still got a boner everytime I hit someone with phoenix punch
>I don't really learn most of the time though. I'd say like a small fraction of the time when I fail at something I actually learn from it, most of the time I just feel bad and don't learn anything. That's normal. It takes tons of repetition for something to click and be learned. Don't expect progress after just a couple defeats. Some people in these threads say they go 70 matches before their first win, but it'll come eventually. Just ignore your win/loss. Nobody cares but you, so just train yourself not to care either because it really doesn't matter.
I'm so tempted to pay the $10 for the s1-3 nostalgia costume pack. Please talk me out of this, but I want nostalgia Ibuki and it's $4 just for her's alone. At least with the pack I get 15 outfits total.
If you ever get ED, you have your cure
Surprisingly insightful for a porn commenter
>Ibuki player
might as well throw your money away its not like youll ever do anything worthwhile with it
STOP SUPPORTING SCUMMY DLC PRACTICES, YOU SPINELESS ZOOMERS KEEP WONDERING WHY THIS SHIT KEEPS HAPPENING, IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE ENCOURAGING THESE DEVELOPERS TO DO MORE OF IT BECAUSE YOU CAN'T CONTROL THINKING WITH YOUR COCK
I don't know how to not care though. Literally cannot control it. Some days I am good and I can play and lose without being stressed out, but those days are incredibly rare and I don't know what makes my mind different on those days. Most days losing makes me feel bad. The whole point of fighting games is that you're supposed to win and if you lose it's all your own fault. How are you supposed to feel good about that? Unless you're deliberately trying to lose, which is the only way I can deal with playing on some days.
I really tried. But I just don't have the memory/reaction time/execution required for punishing/combos etc.
I actually only played fightan and no other games but my friend with whom I used to play is going away to a different city for university ;_;
I literally bought the season pass last night and I haven't played the game in months. I have the disc in the machine but I don't know if I will start it up again before I take it out for another game.
>tfw no locals
>be a shitter against my far more experienced friends

>we all laugh, make jokes, have a great time

>The whole point of fighting games is that you're supposed to win
The point is to have fun bro. You can have an awesome fight and still lose if it's a close battle and you fought well. Or you can beat up scrubs all day erry day and win but find no satisfaction in it.
If it's season 3 I bought that pass this week too. Totally worth it. I thought I would hate all the characters besides Cody, but G is fun, Sakura has her moments, and surprisingly I really like Blanka. Never liked him in the past but just flailing around like a wild animal is really fun.

I play fighters but this is true. Netplay is a travesty most of the time.
I just played Skullgirls last night you dummy. I like Squigly and Filia.
I'm actually looking forward to getting back into Tekken with Zafina.
Youre like this guy I know who calls every single fighting game a button masher, claims to play them, and is literal shit at all of them. You are so inept you couldnt handle a true button masher like Storm. You will always be bottom tier no matter what you do in life
Reminder tekken is a button masher and all of the things tekkucks claim is hard can literally be done just by mashing.
Post rank and timestamp otherwise we know you are just salted
i love my big butt wife!
>Not maining the 'Cock
Still glad you actually play, though.
>screenname is tekkucks are mentally ill
>still took the time to learn KBD
cool macros dude. What software are you using?
This is your mind on shart farter vortex
>still took the time to learn KBD
you mean a total of 2 minutes? LMFAOOO
I've never been in the latter situation so I can't tell you if you're right. 99% of the fights I've played in fighting games I've lost. It's not fun to lose all the time, if it were the games would reward you for losing.
Just play SamSho my dude
why does a secretary need to dress like this?
Wow my porn thread ended up becoming actual vidya discussion cool
Well I can't play Virtua Fighter so what you want me to do?
I used to, back when I had friends that did. I don't these days because I don't care to get better just to beat people online. I enjoy them when I'm playing, but victories feel hollow and unsatisfying and I never feel the motivation to launch the game again afterwards.
>no rank
>no timestamp
>not physical abuse
fag
I still dont know how to fight Mika
Mash your buttons harder than her.
So hype for Tekken Season 3. Cant believe we are getting new moves. Hopwfully negan isnt so shit
I mostly just do so semi-casually. I can't help but love the game and I come back to it every now and then simply because of how beautiful everything is and how smooth it plays.
I'm bad. Very bad. Tried out DB FighterZ because I was told it's a good beginner's fighting game. Out of like 50 online matches I won maybe 2, and I'm sure one of them just gave up.
>non-ex shoryuken is no longer invincible in V
defend this
Uh, no, the soul calibur one.
Its a terrible fighter. Too fast for a beginner even though its simple to learn. Samsho is what you need
>battle costume
Gee I wonder what shes dressed for
>Bought Samsho on PS4.
>Barely touch it because I barely touch my ps4.
I don't know why I didn't just wait for the PC release.
KOF had super armor DP since god known when. Stop bitching.
Nobody wants to play that samugay game.
>why cant i just turn my brain off and dp every time my opponent dares be plus against me
learn to play the game Kenshitter
>Still no Hilde.
Mother fuckers.
Wait youre actually fucking retarded. 200 people is plenty for fighting games. I played both GG and UNIST before their playerbase boost after evo. Never had issues getting people with 2-3f lag faggot.
Becuase itll be dead on pc in 2 weeks. Only tekken and sf have a good pc community
Embrace the future.
>he doesn't bait DPs
you dont have a fighter's mind or competitive spirit nor do you have a the mentality that supports dilligence in learning
you lack discipline
change yourself
>he loses against mashing kens
Cause Capcom doesn't give a shit about my boy and the rest doesn't appeal to me all that much.
Is Samsho actually a good beginner's fighter? I bought Samsho V Special and it was way too hard even against bots. Way too fast and I couldn't do anything.
>too much DLC
>service based model
>casualizing mechanics which results in same old characters or the Marvel 2 effect
SF4 was perfect. I don't know how people can stomach anime games. Most of them are just as jewish in money schemes.
Any recommend casual fighting game?
I fucking hate command moves that does 360/Rotate bullshit and hold/charge your ass bullshit whatever
Why does it always boil down to race with you? Practice if you want to be good. Stop blaming your own ineptitude on things out of your control.
Kens are hard dude
>jump kick
>block it
>get thrown
>jump kick
>don't block it
>combo'd into DP
every time
Daigo has said that you get better at fighting games the older you get
She's a virgin who acts like she is sexual.
meanwhile he doesnt even get to top 32 using his cheater box
Smash bros
I can only pull off this shit in practice on Tekken. Leniency is too low and with the stress of an actual match it's very hard to do.
Except that charge or grapperlers are easiest to learn.
But a bitch to master.
Any EUbros here? What do you play?
>aa
>it's sfv so you trade
>calling something out means you lose to it
I've never had a problem finding matches on PC. Granted PS4 is probably way more popular but I just like playing games on my PC more.
That motion will destroy your controller stick guaranteed
Not everyone has the same attitude towards games that they have towards any other aspect of their life.
Fighterz only requires 1/4 circles. You couple play a brawler like Xeno 2 or Storm 4.
360 or 720s are easy.
The issue is doing them raw.
>too much DLC
>service based model
pretty sure IV had more characters and stages, probably more skins too
>i need thousands of people to have a player base.
show me one locals where you have over 1k players at any time please.
>bait DPs
>he doesn't DP at the same time with the confidence his will win out
I do, been playing Tekken 7 this last year and got to green ranks. Now going to return back to Guilty Gear Xrd and learn that so I'm ready for 2020. Play DBFZ every now and again, that game can frustrate me though, need to get to SSG rank with my friend. Kinda want to try SFV S4 but every time I reinstall that game I'm disappointing and don't have the FM for the new characters.
If you're dogshit maybe, people anti air with fucking crouch jab in sfv
>The issue is doing them raw.
if its hard to do stand 360 just do it off dash or tick
>all 200 of those players are playing online in public lobbies right now and are in your region
retard
Yoriko's Pentagram requires very specific inputs for each direction, as they are signified by little sparks of light. Any sort of motion will not cause anything to come out.
Thing is, it's not a real "motion" as you have a lot of time to input all six directions in order (the command list omits the fact you have to go back to the initial direction to complete the pentagram). It's actually pretty easy.
kolin is built for ________
I would refute this but I can care less about SFV at this point.
just bought her nostalgia outfit cause fuck those pin stripe stockings.
is she really a karin 2.0, cause i would like to try Poison as well but i hear she is just as hard to us as Menat.
>people are now associating TK air fireballs as Arslan signature fucking move
America should've bombed Pakistan after Iraq so that curry nigger have already died.
you cant refute it because its true
Not him but, I don't want to. How do you gain discipline when you're not interested in gaining discipline in the first place?
I do. Bought king of fighters 14 last week, been practicing solo vs AI since the Online is dead, don’t have any friends who are into fightan games unfortunately.
I want her but also dislike the striped socks. Her other outfits don't look any better though. I'd play her default with color 8 but it's locked behind hard survival so fuck that.
I'm pretty sure that XIV on PS4 still have lobbies.
Drop the DualShock and get a hori mini for 30-40 bucks and git gud. I wasted so much time trying to be good with a controller but didn’t really get anywhere but than I tried fightstick and honestly I was worse for a lil while but than everything kinda clicked and I got exponentially better. King main btw just learned how to do his optimal carry combos and it feels so good to look back on my progress considering I was like u a chump who couldn’t even kbd
Yeah don't know why people are acting like SFV's DLC is something new. I got USF4 and it doesn't include most or maybe any of that. It is not a GOTY version or anything.
If only her face actually looked like it does in fan art. Any newbies getting into GGXRD or tekken 7 here?
Too stupid to learn combos, i always end up mashing and even the most simple motion, the hadouken, is too complicated for me.
I appreciate the girls though.
I mostly just play Guilty Gear and, to a lesser degree, SamSho, but I play on PS4. I played UNIST for a bit when it came out, but I had some issues with it and I ended up losing the desire to play because of it, I'll still probably buy UNI cl-r though. I play a bit of Tekken, but I'm not crazy about it and I'm quite bad at it.
I have it on PC. The only lobbies available are in Mexico with garbage ping.
Those are some fucking gigantic tits.
does she slow time or something when she does it? I see that its half speed but even so that seems super slow
handholding
Buy hori mini. Cheap good fight stick to get better on until you decide to get a “real” fightstick like an obsidian or something
which outfit is better, beach police poison or nostalgia poison and by that i mean does nostalgia have a different face model. and not hormone induced.
Boring, require a huge time investment, competitive only, extremely repetitive
damn dude can you teach me how to "mash" perfect dash inputs like webm related?
>took the time
it takes no time at all its literally baby easy mode
That they are
jokes on you a single costume costs this much money now rather than buying them in packs of 5
BlazBlue and Smash.
Shes fucking busted and has nearly every tool in the game
>3framer
>crossup
>overhead
>anti air normals
>anti air specials
>arcing fireball like sim or can hit it again to make it horizontal and fast like ed
>invincible reversal
>command run pressure
>nearly every special is safe on block
>huge plus frames on normals
>annoying pressure strings
All thats missing is a command grab and an air fireball
I still don't know why burgers are so averse of SNK fighters.
But well you should had gotten 98um or 02.
requires a lot of time to git gud which i don't have
learning all the mechanics in the game is stupid when they come out with the next game in the series which doesn't have the same combos or what have you
>implying SFV doesnt havr costume packs
>4-5 costumes for 4.99
>now 1 costume for 4.99 + tip
It makes her specials and Supers more powerful for the duration of that "POWER UP" bar.
?
Do you play BB on PC by any chance?
t. seething stick fag
why wouldnt they punish you during the input though?
You paid 28 shekels for it?
Ill play SFV once they uncensor it in the US
>got a higher res of those costumes?
I don't like getting pissed all the time
just use mods you fucking moron
bro just get the PC version and uncensor it or download a million nude mods or some shit
The little balls of light have a hitbox so you can catch someone coming at you, and you can spend a meter to shield yourself while you perform the Pentagram.
here's your 4 costumes senpai that'll be 10 dollars
pls, for those who own both, which posion costume is better model wise.
summer or nostalgia.
The price per costume ratio in V is fucked compared to IV but just wait for a 50% off sale and it's about the same.
You can compare them all here, though idk if the detail is high enough for you to tell
Run back home cryin to your momma.
Just go on the Capcom site they have high res images for every character and skjn
They might have a model viewer too but that might just be in game
What is even censored here?
no rotation..
Interesting mechanic, is the character any good?
Yeah do like said though and look at the model viewer in game, though I still don't think you can rotate it, but should still get a better view of her face.
Choose it well, Yea Forums
Marvel, tekken and guilty gear. Honorable mention to KoF
this is tekken players
Juilty Jear
Please put the juggling clown back for Tekken.
whoever put the gigachad in Tekken's spot probably doesn't play Tekken cause even Tekken players embraced the juggling clowns image

We only just got them supporting tekken in decent numbers. Getting them to try anything different is really hard

SamSho for PC when
What about soul calibur players
I find weird since SNK fighters are pretty easy to learn. Ain't no SF2 but soon as you get accustomed with speed the rest is trivial.
It's going to die in a week.
>Marvel players
>Black Peoples
Pretty much accurate
Actual women with actual vaginas
not if they allow cross play
Which they won't
Power Rangers for PC when
Most people seem to put Yoriko as mid tier at best as of AH3 Six Stars. She has comparatively long reaching normals, a Dhalsim divekick and a nice air fireball for zoning. Offense is mediocre without that pentagram power up, but you can treat her like a rushdown character when it is up due to it also making her quarter-circle forward special invulnerable and some other moves safer.
>Tekken
i use the Hori Fighting Commander
I partly blame XIII, cause it makes people think KoF is a combo series like . When most of the series has incredibly easy combos. For the most part though it is just brand loyalty
>buy KoF14 on sale
>do the tutorial
>see this shit
>refund
lazy fuck found
I never learned shit, just used Chang and styled on the niggers on my school that did combos with Leona and Kyo.
but that doesn't even look like a hard thing to do. Just a chain of specials and that's it.
>Pokken controller is perfect for literally every fighting game
>except SF's six button layout
Still the best 12 bucks I ever dropped on a controller
whats that third thing that looks like a DBS powerup
Everything else makes sense
I play kof98, kof02, alpha 3, and ST
Most of those combos are max stock BS, you rarely have chance to pull them on a match. But also 98 and 02 drops those kind of combos on challenge mode.
Albeit free cancel combos are really easy to pull.
>"i'm smarter then everyone else"
fuck off
>do the tutorial
Where in the tutorial does it say do a combo of that length? Even in the trials it never gets much further than normal, normal, max, normal, special, super, dream cancel.
XIV's combos aren't really all that difficult.
does mordhau or chivalry qt a high level count
Max mode.
I'm fundamentally bad at mixups and RPS, which are in vogue. The core component of SFV is the wakeup game and I simply am not good at knowing which option the opponent will go for.
GG is fun though. There's usually some sort of defensive option that will make the situation better unless your opponent made a really good read.
no but I respect you for not being delusional and thinking it is
You would do a similar movement to b-reverse shakunetsu or ken's roundhouse from a crouching position.
that webm as an example is the same as calling button mashing high level mane, just because the other player doesn't know how to deal with a wiggly retard doesn't mean no one does
Lucia is what Kolin would have been if she wasn't such trash.
I imagine those are charge motions
does KoF allow you to do charges by holding DownBack into UpBack/DownForward? If that's the case then I imagine It's more doable
Christ. Chivalry's meta was so boring and braindead I'm glad I dodged Mordhau.
Waiting for Riots fighting game
calm down, he's saying hes dumber than everyone else
He cant manage to hold knowledge on fightan and anything else at the same time, you should take pity on him
Yes it does. KOF actually have very few pure charge characters. And the ones that had were bonkers.
>Kolin
>trash
at worst shes a solid mid tier
It's hilarious how desperate consolefags are, jumping in every FG thread desperately trying to invalidate PC. Imagine how awesome it'll be when more people find out how much PC is better at everything.
Now, me personally, I want cross-plat. The sooner every game starts coming out with cross-plat support, the better.
It's ok bro, your dark souls pvp and mordhau skills are totally valid and everyone really respects you.
This is the minimum input precision needed to start playing the character. Is this supposed to be impressive mastery of the game?
because every year shitty developers release a game with my favorite characters removed and a bunch of shits i have no interest in learning right away
Cammy's only good for being tossed by and between juri and chun
but dark souls is garbage
If Juri posters were as dedicated to learning a fighting game as they were to posting Juri, then maybe there'd be a SINGLE GOOD JURI PLAYER!
Juri is not a bad character! No one who's actually good at fighting games plays her, because they're busy wanking over her! It's actually fucking despicably sad! Fighting games are LITERALLY dying because of Juri!!!
>shitty edit
tekken fags are literally the worst
don;t rely on trials, 90 percent of them are just for flash. and i think they discourage new players so much. even pros drop max damage combos.

Frame data is not important.

Baikenfags are even worse because they actually don't play the game.
i don't consider wife beaters people
I just started actually. Playing Guilty Gear Xrd
Fixed
No one does desu
>imagine being too socially awkward to play fighting games
Like clockwork, the obsessed Tekken hater has come to cry since Tekken is the most popular fighting game out right now, and he can't stand that.
but Infiltration doesn't play king of mexicans
>king of mexicans
Based Labchad
What? That video has a section on frame data and why it is important
based fighting games lover
Yea, and that whole section boils down to the fastest and safest move in any situation wins. So instead of focusing of learning the data, just play normally. When you find a scenario where you can't explain what happens, look it up. Otherwise, it doesn't matter. Think of it like this, chances are if you went to Evo, 90% of the people playing couldn't tell you the frame data for their character. But they could tell you whether something is "safe" or "not". TL;DR Frame data just explains your experiences, but is worthless if you have none.
He won SamSho at EVO
Stuff like this scared me off locals. Everyone always seem to know each other and didn't want to play more than 5 games with me before fucking off to their group. It really feels like you have to be good enough to compensate for your lack of social skills to get people to run sets with you.
Just tell them you're new and you want to get in some sets. People like to show off their knowledge and will help you. You can also try bringing a setup. People will ask to play with you.
old man reactions
I'm too slow for mobas at this point
the new samsho for ps4 is great for beginners. even retards like me can have fun with it
would hang out with mahvel, kof and gg players
tekkenfags definitely know frame data by heart
No they do not. Do you really think every tekken player knows every piece of frame data by heart? That's crazy talk. Probably only the pros have an encyclopedia of frame data knowledge like that but even then it's probably just for the tournament characters.
Find any spicy Janemba tech? All I've got is that anything optimal is basically not worth going for like rejumps/sideswitches because of really tight timing. And the corner orb setup from sliding knockdown is kinda iffy. He does have some semi-decent zoning with assists but without them he's in trouble.
No, recognizing which moves are safe and which are punishable are very important. Sure you don't need to learn the optional punish for every situation but it helps in recognizing frame traps and what not.
You're right when it is a part of matchup knowledge but to say it's not important is wrong.
>Think about picking up a game.
>Look at SNK Heroines and hear its a simpler fighting game.
>Still full price on Steam.
>Look at the other fighting games.
>See they're more technical then ever, 3d or 2d.
>Ok, maybe I'll put in more effort this time.
>Do research to see if the communities improved at all.
>All autists obsessed with having $100+ fightsticks and complaining about today's fighting games not being more in-depth and technical.
Think I'll just stick to opportunistic play of mid 90's fighting arcade games, especially when I'm in Reno and Vegas.
You mentioned evo so yeah I'm talking about pros. Most of the cast is tournament characters because tekken has good balance and low variety. That low variety also makes it easier to learn frame data (ie everyone's jab is 10 frames). And since Tekken is a turn based game, you have to know exactly what you're allowed to get away with on your turn.
Don't underestimate autism.
>Good soundtrack
>Good artstyle
>In-depth training mode
Tekken 7 doesn't have any of these. Still a great game; it's a shame they dropped the ball on everything not related to the gameplay itself.
At the level being discussed, which is assumed to be beginner, it definitely not important. And at any level the numbers themselves are only relevant within context. The point being that the focus should only being the results, as the values mean little outside of that. From the implied perspective, knowing and remembering the value won't change whether you win or lose an exchange. Terrible comparison but its like a child learning not to touch a stove, it doesn't matter if its 100°c or 101°c as their still going to get burned.
The fighting game dilemma:
>Make the game simpler
>Lose original fanbase
>Make the game more complicated
>Fails to attract new players
And if it doesn't change, its just 'rehash' and it dies quickly
gameplay in tekken is dog shit the game is literally a button masher with no depth or complexity
thoughts?
>Make good changes to game mechanics
>Fanbase shits on you anyway and immediately assumes it is "dumbed down"
The inputs are absolutely fucking retarded and unintuitive.
You can't listen to these without telling me the soundtrack is bad

My main takeaways from him are that he is a very useful point if you can master his gimmicks. He has almost no need for meter, since j.2M gives him knockdowns from any hit anywhere. His hitconfirms are also strong because of how big some of his buttons are (in certain directions); his 5LL reminds me a LOT of Bardock's which tells me he's going to win the scramble a lot and convert off of it. His 2H his hilariously vertical but it starts low so it won't have the problem Broly once did and it's so damn tall that you can probably catch super jumps and other weird escapes with it. His alternate Level 1 is tremendous because of its instant corner carry (although I encountered a bug where it literally cannot combo into Zamasu's Level 3).
The projectile counter being full invincible the moment it eats one, with the counter being a projectile itself AND letting Janemba cancel into any normal or special makes it a lot better than Jiren's projectile counter as well. His teleport is a straight-up gimmick but with the right assist he can use it to side-switch in a blockstring without leaving gap or use the backwards teleport to bait DPs since he can punish them with his good reach. Biggest bummer is that his regular Level 1 is one of those that makes all other supers go away after the first hit, which means you can't pull any weird shenanigans where his super hits first when you Z Change into him and the original character's hits after.
Lastly, I LOVE the assist. It's a very "lab monster" assist but I'm glad there's another one that tracks. Honestly, it's almost like a projectile Vajra, except it's balanced by not giving a knockdown every time. Still, the bounce it gives when they hit the ground gives you so many combo options for ground-to-air conversions before the j.2H Smash, and you can use it to set up things like Zamasu orbs/Flight mid-combo as well. It's not as amazing as Galactic Donuts but for a character that's definitely more of a Battery it's good.
You're right, I'm gonna tell you. The soundtrack is fucking bad, it's 90% wubs
It's kind hard to update mechanics even if game stays largely the same. KOF for example switched to 3on3 in 03 and XI and people shat on it even if XI is pretty good game and had ton of fanservice.
>Make the game more complicated
>Fails to attract new players
Has there ever actually been a case of this? Not an non-established IP comes out and is complex. But a fighter getting more complex and directly because of that becomes less successful.
SF3.
If wasn't people bitching about 3d, it was about being too complex.
Big nose
Clearly the correct response is that you should make a side game that's more accessible. Sadly the community reacts that they shouldn't have wasted the resources on other projects or this is obviously the dumbed down direction the main series is headed.
Another approach is that they could add characters that are easy to approach. Surprise! If you play that character, the community calls you a shitter unless the character is good. Then the character is just auto win plz nerf.
Fighting games have been fucked for the last decade or sol
Why not play with a pad then?
That was more arcades dying mixed with losing the recognisable faces. Also the early editions not being so hot.
Street Fighter 3.
The original fanbase is getting old and dying off anyway or leaving the community to raise families, fuck 'em. Make the games easier so newbies can get in on the ground level. You shouldn't have to have played SF since 1991 in the arcades to stand a halfway decent chance at winning in V.
How do I get a gf like the right
You're 100% correct.
Reason: Panda
Tekken became less and less popular as movelists went from 20 moves to 100+
I love fighting games but I only play single player because I'm too shit to play online but too good to play with friends
The new samurai showdown has '90s design and it's also way more consumer friendly compared to the other games. The season pass was free for a while and I think there's a free dlc character when the most devs give out for free is a costume if you pre order
All the crying in this thread. you all want me to believe you won't lay hands on the Riot FG when Ahri with her huge knockers is in?
Yikes this is fucking awful, how can anyone listen to this shit?
We're getting to the point where all of the wannabe grognards who want their pretzel motions and 87 hit combos are being zoned out so fighting games can have some actual depth without the hollow, fake "skill" of "execution" making players fight the system before they can actually fight the opponent.
Quarter circles at most for specials, or special attacks existing as command normals, big combos being toned down in favor of big single hits mattering more (with big combos still existing more to style on people rather than being absolutely necessary for damage).
Pretty much what my thoughts on him as well, except I can't make him work with my other 2 characters well enough. He can assist the entire cast but the entire cast can't assist him. Namely, SSJ Goku and AGohan.
Its not like synergy is 0 but I feel he'd benefit more from other assists. Got him on mid atm since AGohan is much better for point with this team.
>you all want me to believe you won't lay hands on the Riot FG
i wont cause even if it is a good game riot will horribly mismanage it
I think they wrote an article about you:
thehardtimes.net
Highly doubt it would be based on LoL, too many characters
Get a fightpad with a better dpad then.
For real, fighting games have the worst communities.
>playing online, always encounter hackers, people who quit just before they lose of people who scream nigger down the microphone because you cant mute mid match.
>always get bodied and never have chance to learn since they just combo you for five minutes straight.
They have the potential to be fun but they are legitimately just to autistic for the mainstream.
>Quarter circles at most for specials, or special attacks existing as command normals, big combos being toned down in favor of big single hits mattering more (with big combos still existing more to style on people rather than being absolutely necessary for damage
So why does every one hate on bbtag?
Every time that anyone tries to do those 1 button special fighters it bombs hard.
Granblue might have a chance due cygames dropping money on it. But I really doubt that people going give a fuck about whatever riot is doing past first or second month.
I'm scared of playing online and losing
I'll be playing the fuck out of Ahri and any fem yordle that inevitably get added especially after the titty mods pop up
That's all the more reason to base it on LoL. Characters with pre-existing movesets, backstories and fan attachment. A guaranteed roster for years to come.
they can always make a teamfighter
Why would I play arcade games on a gamepad? I'm not a console player.
Most of the new moves are boring to use and you can usually find one like it in multiple characters. You can only make do many punches and kicked before combos with different chars start looking similar
if it has the depth of LoL there's no problem fitting 100+ characters in
That's exactly what Capcom did in SF5 and everyone hated it, and its less successful than SF4
Don't worry im in the same position as you
>always get bodied and never have chance to learn since they just combo you for five minutes straight.
tee bee haych, this. I don't know how you can learn matchups when the other guy just clobbers you and then it's on to a new guy with a new character who also clobbers you, repeat ad infinity
True, good points. I just think it's more likely for Riot to attempt to branch off a little. You're probably right though, too much money to be made off an existing property.
Once you accept that you will eventually fail, you'll quickly come to realize there are people online worse then you.
dbfz didn't need depth to get characters in
and the lol roster would make it unarguably deeper since not everyone and their mother shoots lazers
Because it handled it's dlc methods and communications very poorly. All of those issues have been addressed, and now we're sitting in anticipation of 2.0.
You have to understand, if a game doesn't have SF numbers, anime FGC like to call a game dead without understanding what self perpetuating means.
Except SFV isn't easy. I'm new and still getting my ass kicked. Combos are still too hard.
I just like to play against the computer :)
that’s hot
lol pussy
>>playing online, always encounter hackers, people who quit just before they lose of people who scream nigger down the microphone because you cant mute mid match.
Rage quitters are a thing but rest seems bullshit. Also first thing that anyone needs to learn is block, spacing and punishing.
Even if you don't know that dank 90% combo the basics will carry you through most of ladder.
What game do you like the most?
punishing means dank 90% combo, it's part of basics
I'm glad someone else looks at his assist as a DBFZ Strider assist. His assist is amazing for combos but there are a few characters that an use it in neutral. Frieza/Janemba is such a good pairing since they both complement each other in combos AND neutral. There are also timings where you can call Janemba assist to punish a superdash make him very interesting.
Tachikawa is running TeenGohan/Janemba/Frieza and I truly believe that team has an insane amount of potential. Stuff like this reminds me of Kaimarts old team of Vegito/TeenGohan/KidBuu before they nerfed double supers.

At the end of the day I don't see people running him but I do enjoy seeing hyper synergistic shells doing work. I wish this game had more unique shells like this that isn't low tier+Bardock.
Literally happened when I played USF4 online.
>first guy had lag switch he turned on second round, freezing him in place
>second guy reeeee's and screams nigger because I beat him first round
>almost beat third guy and he just quits, denying me fught tokens.
You can't even ban them on SF4 pc, its so fucking gay
Then stop playing kusoges with touch of death combos.
super recognisable IP. If only 1% of the playerbase and former players, who will probably all check it out because it will be free, stick to it, it will be the largest fighting game there is.
Also the guy who announced it is the creator of ggpo (maybe it wa his brother). But that means it will have one of the best netcodes in the business totally flattening everything that is not MK. They can suit up the characters in all the skins they already made.
Yeah it would be super unwise to not base it on League characters. Also League characters are so not fleshed out that they can put in a lot more stuff.
Maybe 1% of the people you face will be worse, mind you. The rest will body you relentlessly to death.
i am literally too awful at them and cant apply whatever i learn during matches most of the time which gives me an incredible amount of frustration. it doesnt help that every fightan community in my region is small as fuck and the only members are people who played the series since it's inception.
so i dont play them anymore
Mortal Kombat and Tekken. DBZF was fun too. Weirdly I did not like Injustice at all.
I went online, got hit by snake edges over and over, stopped going online
Depends on the game really. Regardless, you won't get better if you do play. You can't win if you don't try.
lol
Yeah and rito has enough money for a decent launch roster, good graphics, good netcode and some tournament pull so there's a chance of it getting big. Setting is already somewhat fleshed out, lots of opportunity for single player modes and such. Hopefully the gameplay isn't fucking baby food though.
No Irelia no buy
Really liking what I'm seeing out of the first few minutes, especially the use of the assist to convert off of raw DPs. Glad I'm not the only one on Yea Forums who adores team-building metas.
This is the sort of thing people always say about spin offs in any medium, yet it rarely pans out. Having an established player base in another genre doesn't mean 1% will care, there isn't even a good chance 0.5% will and of those less will stick around.
Just look at how many huge IPs have gotten fighters in the past, DB is a cultural icon and can't sustain that 1%
DB never had a game with 100 million monthly players. Not even close.
the only flaw I see them in doing this is their lack of hand to hand fighters in lol
Vi is the obvious choice for a fightan and maybe after that you could have Ezreal as the Ryu but other than that there arent too many options
