I feel like a lot of problems could be solved if it was possible to blacklist developers for your personal account and subscribe to content currator blacklists. It would help filter out a lot of garbage Unity store asset flip "games" and clean up the store page for the user if they put in the time to filter out some awful shit. Conversely, let people favorite game publishers of their choice to ensure that said company's games show up on the store's front page with a much higher priority and frequency than non-favorited devs. I like Capcom, SNK, ArkSys, Platinum, From Soft, and plenty of others, so I'd favorite them to make sure I get notified when they upload a new product to Steam, like an old game I might want an official PC copy of or anything like that.

I used to enjoy flipping through their products and finding random cool titles I've never heard of, but now the store feels like a needle in a haystack situation, so I don't bother searching for the proverbial needle (good games) anymore. If there's a game I know I want that I've heard about elsewhere, I just search for that directly. I don't want to go digging through mountains of shit in my free time in some wild goose chase looking for nuggets of gold in there. Not when I already have plenty of good games in my backlog that I'm slowly working through.
