My cleaning routine
>vacuum the floor once a week along with the rest of my place
>wash and iron the bedsheets every second week, more frequently in the summer if needed
>leave the window and door open frequently so the air flow minimizes dust accumulation, polish surfaces only when I notice notable buildup
>use anti-mould spray around the windows and in corners during summer once every six weeks due to the heat/humidity and less frequently the rest of the year
>empty the bin and throw out any excess paper from notes weekly, never let litter buildup
That's basically it. I might spend an hour and a half on a bad week polishing/hoovering/spraying/washing/ironing stuff in it and putting the sheets back on, but most weeks it's 30 minutes or less and I'm good.
But I'm also a major minimalist who has nothing in my room but my dresser, bed, one sidetable, shelves mounted to the wall, and a small desk with a stool. I don't have anything lying out besides books, my laptop, a lamp, and an alarm clock - even my hair dryer and charging cables go in a drawer normally. Don't really have plushes or anything else to worry about cleaning.
I simple dust every now and again does it for my tiny place.

My advice to always clean mold my dude shit gives me throat problems from breathing it in while sleeping all the fucking time

I just had a little look around and thought about it, the wall my PC is agiasnt is about 2 meters and abit, around 8/8.5 feet, and the window side is a liitle longer more around 9 to 10 feet I'd wager in burger units.

Avoid ikea shit, it's all flimsy garbage. If you can afford it, get a carpenter made solid wood desk or go check out goodwill/thrift stores for proper desks.
Just fucking go to ikea it's all there. The key to looking good is surrounding simple furniture with your own character. Fill the space then adorn it however the fuck YOU like it because people are attracted to strong personalities that are separate from any kind of gestalt cultural appreciation of fung shuei bullshit

If it's apartment you'll hate yourself when you move and have some heavy ass desk that can't be easily taken apart.
Ikea is fine but I wouldnt get a desk from them. Even if youre not a neet loser like me you will spend many hours at your desk and you want it to be big and sturdy. Ikea stuff is also not made to withstand moving or disassembling often. The solid desk I bought second hand from some guy is still in top condition.
Maybe I just bloody put in somewhere rather then let it ruminate and stew in sweat and sunlight all day dude seriously it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't clothes. Clean up man.
Also it's probably your cupboard furniture. I have a small draw table a rack and a suitcase that fits all my clothes, not that I have a significant amount or anything. get rid of anything that isn't wall built user it's a serious waste of space and probably cuts into your room real bad. Also your desk looks fucking enormous look into that too.
I have a strong complete wood desk that was carpenter made and if you have absolutely ANYTHING modern looking in your room without some serious interior design incite then it is going to look shit. Just my opinion man

I spent the last 3 years living on my own because of my studies. I had an Ikea desk.
It sucked, it's thin, flimsy, can't be disassembled, rattly. Just a piece of shit, it's cheap and that's all it's got going for it.

Well, YEARS ago, in the dawn of man, they were CD cases in some school. Since no one uses optical media anymore, they are now just general purpose drawers I keep stuff in. Two drawers have a bunch of cables for stuff, another one has my Switch games and controllers (you can't see it, but my Switch is between the two monitors).
As for the R2D2 360, I am actually not a huge fan of Star Wars, but someone gave it to me and it's Pre Modded with an ODE. I'm not gonna argue with that. Goes well with all the other consoles I have, which all have ways to load ROMs.

Tips on cleaning room?

Grab a couple of trash bags and separate the stuff you wanna throw away and the dirty clothes. Once you've gotten the clutter sorted out, you can vacuum or sweep the floors, use a dust spray cleaner for shelves, computer, etc.
Cleaning your room is 90% keeping it clutter free. You only need to sweep every three or four days, or every two weeks, depending on how dusty your area is and if you eat in your room or not.

Better tip: a cloth. Must be wetted and squeezed frequently in water and it will capture everything better than any dustbuster without moving dust into the air.
