i didnt play anything enough to make note of it. i dont even enjoy video games anymore. i just browsed Yea Forums, shitposting with responses less than 2 sentences and watched youtube videos all day like a rotting semi-corpse of a human in a vegetative state. i tried to play smash and pokemon today but due to years of not having stimulated and challenged my mind and porn addiction, i cant focus on anything with any real intent. even when i try, i fail horribly at the game and give up due to a lack of will. i lost more than 10 quickplays in a row on smash and accidently used my masterball on an aipom today on pokemon crystal, only to savestate back and setting my progress back even further. it truely is all awful

Oblivion, it doesn't hold up as well as I remember in the Immersion, but its nice to get 150 FPS with all settings on max.

Also it does movement right, its fun to leap around like an autistic superhero. Games now seem so afraid to give you freedom of movement

It's not really that long user, you can use a guide for the dungeon maps if you don't want to waste time on those, if you can play the snes version it's the best one so far because it has animated monster sprites, the other ones don't.

The Mooncrash DLC is pretty good too, its very different from a story perspective but theres even more emphasis on gameplay mechanics

Shit you're right i forgot it, it seems they used the assest of the SNES version for the DQ XI 16 bit graphic option, but they didn't animate the monster sprites.

user, once you're basically the majority of the market, you don't have to bother with quality because you can fucking outspend your new competition or snipe their development team or just do a hostile take over and steal their shit and make it your own. I finally tried it today at a friend's house. After an hour of "gameplay," all I had to show for it was a single tutorial battle, a bunch of inane dialog in between pointless anime cutscenes and a run through a barren, poor constructed hub area. Fuck modern gaming. Waste of my goddamn time.

I'm playing FE The Binding Blade instead. It jumps straight to the action. 2019 and devs still don't get it. I had the same problems with Persona 5. Too much fluff. Why are modern jRPGs so bloated?

Make sure you complete all of the crystal caverns area and whatever the super dark depths are called, can't remember the area names. But that's where I got hung up. I actually got the first ending without ever finding the double jump which I dont think you're supposed to do

But yeah, the crystal area has a layer game ability and the double jump is in the bottom most area of I remember correctly

You can skip most of the monastery stuff later and you can just hit the automatic button if you don't want to do the teaching stuff. The start is a little slow but by no means as bad as you say it is. The game moves faster and faster as it goes though, the start is by far the slowest part of it.
