Now that the dust is settled, did you like it or not?
Final Fantasy XV
No it was a failure and if one day square fails and go bankrupt you can thanks this game for it.
Unironically, yes. It was really fun despite not being turn based, which I prefer for JRPGs. The road trip part of the game is especially comfy.
Fastest selling game of the franchise with 8.9 million copies, plus a multiplayer expansion, DLC and novels
That sounds successful to me
>>B-but the cancelled DLC
Tabata left, that's why it got cancelled.
Yea, I liked it, but isn't there another thread for this already?
Literally released with a story that required you to consume external media to understand.
Everyone who played it agrees that it's the most hollow final fantasy released.
The development hell and the engine change drained the game fundings even more.
For a final fantasy game it sold like dogshit, everyone knows that, especially after all that hype.
Yeah no, that game was a failure.
>Literally released with a story that required you to consume external media to understand.
Complementary stuff like some few anime episodes and the movie? Wew
>Everyone who played it agrees that it's the most hollow final fantasy released.
Says who? Also define hollow
>The development hell and the engine change drained the game fundings even more.
Doubt it, the game was put on hold after the PS3 era.
>For a final fantasy game it sold like dogshit, everyone knows that, especially after all that hype.
Objectively false
>Yeah no, that game was a failure.
Nope
Barney!
You're wrong and you know it.
The only final fantasy game that I had an easy time completing (as in, I was actively enjoying) was 7. I've played 1, 7, 10, 15 only though so I guess it's kind of a meh statement.
I got the game for free and still want a refund. I hated every second of it other than the nicely rendered food and a few of the camping cutscenes.
>The combat is pure shi-
wow, look at that button holding while flashy moves get animated
this is such a visual clusterfuck
I was so excited. I pre ordered it. I even pre ordered the deluxe edition. Every day coming up to it I was ready to be happy again.
I REALLY wanted it to be good, for it respark my love for playing video games.
It was hilariously bad and I tried to delude myself into thinking it was a good game all the way through.

The game is shit.
you're an existential clusterfuck
I wasn't a fan. It got me to try other games like Xenoblade 2 though, so I'm not complaining.
I've been fighting this bird on much much lower level and all the combat was about is hitting its legs and pressing square when it tries to land on you.
Can you romance this lady
If not then no
I really didn't care much for the main cast visually. I bought it day one and have never touched it. Thanks to all the dlc I probably never will.
That waistline...brehs...
No, I recently pirated and finished it and all the DLC except the Ardyn DLC, this game is utter shit.
lmao barry cope faggot
we are literally getting a better version of the battle system with ffvii remake
Always felt bad for people who bought the deluxe edition. I know they're idiots but SE treated them like cashcow by dangling Royal version and said they have to buy the game again for the "full" experience. I'll never buy FF anymore.
i hated it and stopped playing after a few hours
It was a failure just like XIII and thus made a lot of JRPG fans leave the franchise forever possibly. This turnover has given rising popularity to other JRPG series at the same time like Persona
PERSONA 4/5 HAS MORE CRITICAL RECEPTION THAN ANY FF GAME IN THAT TIME PERIOD
looks like a tranny to me
hi xvkun
Source, PLEASE, I BEG YOU
you are out of luck, friend
hmmm
Cosplayers need to start selling their services.
Just teasing is not enough.
nonsummerjack used to. Then I think she realized it wasn't quite as legal as she thought it was, or it started getting a little to big and noticeable to keep doing sometime at the end of 2017 or so.
I really enjoyed it. I realise it was very faulty, but I had fun with it.
Also lol at the brainlets who cry "you had to watch the movie and the anime to understand the game". No you don't. I didn't watch them and I understood the story, just pay attention and stop parroting e-celeb opinions.
It'd have been pretty great if it had been finished. As it is it's a testament to how poor planning can ruin a promising project.
I'm gonna have to say "no".
I like the music and many of its characters but ultimately the game did a lot of nothing for me.
its the best ff
I enjoyed it eventually, but I think it has the most wasted potential of any game ever and I'm still salty
Pretty good, I enjoyed it, 'Stand By Me' filled me with with feels, and FUCK Pitioss Ruins.
