Story is good and solid if you're a fan of the anime. But like 85% of the game is going around the entire school doing quests to trigger other quests. The same day repeats over and over since you're stuck in a time loop. This gets too tedious and annoying.

The combat part is like 15% of the game. And the stages all suck. Multiplayer is just one shitty stage. And often you will have to repeat the same stage just to get a certain drop with low chances just to complete some quest.

It's pretty bad if you want a action game. Decent story that they should just make into a 2-3 episode ova.

as someone who loved all the ovas and the show and manga, this one was a fucking stinker. i managed to play for about 2 hours before not being able to bear the shitty clunky gameplay. even playing purely for the sidequests for more stuff involving cute and fun character interactions was not worth the hassle of the main time mechanic. i appreciated the stuff about the characters that was added but only from hearing about it, i couldn't be bothered to try to keep playing to get to that stuff tbdesu

I liked going around the academy and talking to all the characters, but some of the side quests involved an aggravating amount of grinding (I wish I'd taken Yea Forums's advice and played the PC version with the cheat engine), and it was annoying that most side quests could only be advanced in a two-minute time frame, after which you'd need to wait for the day to restart before you could continue them.

They want to make it a real ass game. I remember reading that they also want to include not only the main team roster (including Hannah/Barbara) but also the background witches (mainly because Japan loves them a whole lot).
The Camp Fire site getting to half in just a couple of hours after opening at 4am ish in Japan is impressive. The secret japanese LWA cabal is strong.

I like Andrew. He's bland as hell on his own but plays off Akko really well (which is his only job). And the Akko/Andrew fans are pretty damn amazing with the content they still produce.
He's still ain't got nothing on Diana. They unlocked a word together, had that shiny rod double spell attack, went to space together and shot a massive magic arrow spell while holding hands (which was completely unnecessary but very much welcomed)
Plus it's an open secret a lot of people internally ship them. Like, "who tops between them" was something that came up while they made the show.
