Ok but underwhelming for a sonic soundtrack. Some tracks are great while others are just terrible.

Loves it. Especially the vocal tracks. Mortar Canyon is one of my favorite tracks in the game, followed by Virtual Enemies and Moonlight Battlefield.
It's a breath if fresh air since I felt the series soundtrack has become stale since Sonic Colors, and after Sonic Colors, it was nothing but rehashing the same tunes.

TOGETHER WE CAN SHOW THE WORLD WHAT WE CAN DO

what else can I say except it's kino

I had never heard the classic sonic tracks until now and God damn do I regret hearing them

It's alright. Some tracks other anons said are good, but this soundtrack isnt for every one.Shadow Remixes were great though.
Classic was hit or miss, but i loved some parts of it like this youtube.com/watch?v=9mAPUNSBMpA around 40 seconds mark
Or this one youtube.com/watch?v=nBx6S1SHps8

Best track imo was this youtube.com/watch?v=nmaujiiBA2Y

I unironically enjoy the Classic Sonic tracks. The synths they used give it an early SEGA arcade and Genesis games vibes, something I personally love.
To each their own.

Ghost Town is fucking fantastic throughout. I don't care what any faggot says.

>tfw over 100 hours in mania and never even touched forces

Whoa, how the fuck did I mess up the spoiler tag? I need to proofread this shit.

That really reminds me of Genesis games. Not 16 bit Sonic though which is the first thing people usually do

You do well

It's honestly why I enjoy it. I immediately associated to something like Super Fantasy Zone than Sonic The Hedgehog. I can see why people didn't appreciated, but I enjoyed them.

I never played that, but I know what you mean.

But wait, there are parts that remind me of Sonic 3D Special Stage

Thanks user, I really needed that. I love this kind of call backs

Maybe 4 or 5 decent tracks in a sea of mediocre to actively shit chiptune wubstep swarbage.

The early Geneis FM Synth sound is something that isn't explored a lot. It truly saddens me.

Shit all except sonic's stages and the menu themes

Mixed bag. There's some good songs like a couple of the Avatar songs youtu.be/chK5u9uteW8, some of the Modern stage music youtu.be/59fKaKP3ThI
youtu.be/3ZoCvvumN64 and the world map themes youtu.be/HQ5XHHxt0Dc
But most of the songs get ruined by bad synth and dubstep

Some are passable but how can you even say that when mania perfected the music style of the genesis. Compare the fist bump in this against the forces one

I unironically enjoy the new vocal themes.

Park Avenue and Aqua Road are the best ones.

If you listened to anything that I said, you would realize that I appreciated Forces tracks because it sounds like a different era of Genesis tracks, not Sonic the Hedgehog. That track sounds nothing like a SEGA Genesis track either.

>sonic games have almost always been bad but their soundtracks have almost always been good
what does it mean

This is why harder games are better. Games with gradual difficulty curves always end just as they start to engage with you
