Stealth in fps in this time weren't really a thing.

Forced stealth maybe, but it actually rewards you for killing enemies quietly in other levels. You can really cheese some missions this way.

The movement, the speed of it hasn't been done in nuWolfenstein games. Not even close. Don't know tough if it's a purely engine thing, or if you could tweak the one MachineGames uses to replicate it.

Because they were massive bullet sponges on wide open areas. No finesse needed to beat them really. The adds the first one and Heinrich they spawned were at times a bigger threat them they themselves.

Return to castle wolfenstein, NOLF and Gothic are the quintessential comfy games. Does anything come close? I tried Max Payne, Thief and Deus Ex but they just don't come close to the others.

Turned out my save was bugged so I just made a new playthrough and did it fine. Game was a 10/10 for its day

Every time I play through RTCW again, it's like a chore to get through Forest. I know how to do it, but sometimes I just get unlucky and someone spots me.

Main reason I like the Venom mod is because it makes the enemies tougher to kill, even if you know where they are. I do love the extra weapons in RealRTCW too, though. They're both great mods.
