the flares have to land near them, they don't automatically show them if they walk into the range of it after it's on the ground

crawlers and death stalkers are meant to be cheesed bro, sit in the corner and surround yourself with traps then start throwing loud shit around you (flashbangs, flares, etc) to bait crawlers/stalkers to you

you can usually guess where they relocate after stinging and crawling up the ceiling. They tend to favor the closest place to you that is outside your field of vision
So if you are standing close to a pillar/column and get stung you can bet your ass it is now behind that pillar
