Or maybe not that in-depth. I can see a route that kind of rework what we already have, with some revelations made early, some battles repeated, all three lords but kind of murky until the last four battles. This would be the easier way to implement it. Not change anything of note, just a "good" ending, with all three lords cooperating, possibly under Sothis. Or, more probably, you fighting against all the three lords (+ Rhea) to unite the Church to a new golden age.

I'd REALLY like a "true ending", though. An ending that is hard to acquire, very hard to come through, one that breaks your mind and goes all out. Possibly about defeating another remnant of Agartha. One that is blood and tears for everyone, one that change everything, but can only be accessed with strict requisites. Maybe one that kills all three lords upon completion.

This will probably never happen, though.

I'm already on my second and on this one I recruited absolutely everyone possible.
But compared to my first play through where i only recruited a few and had to kill a bunch of former students, it often feels kinda empty since every battle is against people I don't know or otherwise don't give a shit about.
It also feels pretty stupid when you talk to someone like Ferdinand or Caspar when you're fighting the Empire and they're not even sure why they're on your side.

You could try changing audio settings in the switch settings. I had a game on the Wii U where I had missing sounds unless I chose mono

"entry point" games is a meme. Just start with which ever one you have access to. 3 houses is very different from the rest of the series as it tries to shake things up which means that prior knowledge of the series isn't necessary.

The only thing you need to be careful of for going backwards is that many FE games are sequels/prequels to another. But even then, if you start with FE7 instead of FE6 or FE10 before FE9 you'll be just fine.

Three Houses is perfectly noob friendly and there are mechanics like casual mode or divine pulse to help them along. Positioning isn't that big of a deal with Fire Emblem compared to other SRPGs, there's nothing like back attacks or anything like that. You can see any enemy's range by pressing ZR and by pressing X while the cursor is on them you can see their specific range. It's very newbie friendly.

No. The aggrolines are greatly overstated as helping you since who is getting attacked should be pretty straightforward with or without them. They also change as you move units so you can end up thinking you're safe but not actually be safe. The game doesn't handhold you with terrain, thats the GBA games where chokepoints are everywhere. You'll actually need to learn how to make unit walls to protect your squishy units. But you have the ability to turn back time if you screw up so its less handholdy and more trial and error.

Friendly reminder that Edelgard's route is the closest we got to a canon route, since hers is the only route picking up the threads that started pre-timeskip.

Not really. 4 routes are pretty fairly balanced at giving you part but not all of the story. A 5th happy go lucky ending would shit on the story told in BL. What they should have done was make Claude disregard Edelgard entirely instead of being a shittier version of BL and fleshed out Edelgard's route more. Any DLC should be strictly sidestories and filling in the 5 year gap.

Its really not that big of a deal depending on which unit you use. The -10 speed doesn't affect your current speed so once you hit the breakpoint to get double attacks you don't need any more. At level 30 you should have enough speed to not get doubled assuming you spent time as a sword master. Any more from that point on is just extra. The magic is hit or miss, again depending on the character you use.

Dimitri at least tried to intercept the enemy in the field beforehand, but only for purely practical reasons, since he knew the capital was too badly supplied to withstand a siege. its a new game but you can have options for unit outfit choice, including making them wear war clothes for school cutscenes etc.

I think the statue progress carries over so technically you're getting more levels faster and you can spend renown to basically eliminate the grind if you want to and ONLY if you unlocked it on that new game plus file

So if I had only gotten to A sword rank as Mercedes in my game I could only buy up to A sword rank and would have to level up to S like normal. You can also buy supports, again only if you achieved it in the save file.

For newbies, play BL or GD for your first run then on NG+ pick Femblyat and recruit everyone. Make a double save the month of the decision and you're set for church and BE.
