Isometric is 2.5D
how about this: top-down 2d styled but with 3d graphics
>the kid born in 1999 typed out as he got bored of mario bros in 5 minutes and played 7 hours of fortnite.
so what do you call isometric with 3d graphics if it's not isometric?
>isometric with 3d graphics if it's not isometric
wait, so is it isometric or not?
this
also 2.5D > everything else
People generally think any top-down view is considered an "isometric" view but that is usually not the case. For example Fallout 1 and 2 are not isometric games, they use trimetric projection.
Interesting. I thought everyone used the isometric projection due to its round 120 degree angle.
