Your typical Arkham gameplay but no more tank battles, also no major focus on Terry's school like in the later seasons.
lots of Mad Stan battles, no forced SJW relationship with Max either.
maybe rewrite it so Bruce actually stayed in Gotham but worked out of the shadows, and then the whole Terry becoming the new Batman happens.
maybe even make the joker DNA thing from the movie into a major plotline.

You could easily do a first Beyond game centering on Blight and Terry's personal feud with him, and a sequel about the Joker. But I'm not sure I trust them to remake that movie after they blundered with Jason so hard

I don't hate Knight. Has amazing visuals, has the best combat and stealth, hell even the tank combat is fun. It has an unbelievable amount of content.
Story however is a total letdown, the only thing good about the story was the Joker virus with all the successor Jokers and imaginary friend Joker trolling you all the time. The actual Red Hood/Arkham Knight story was awful.

And the driving sucks ass, the Batmobile was used wayyyyy too much, and the bosses were the worst in the whole franchise.

That's kinda the point. Terry doesn't have the save phobia of death Bruce has since Terry only had one parent die offscreen and it happened while he was a teenager. He won't kill but he won't go out of his way to save.

The problem with making a Superman game is that he's just too powerful, and that makes it hard to conceive a game. Superman can hold a miniature black hole in his hand, his super hearing & visions basically make him omniscient to a certain degree, he can fly faster than light speed, and is invulnerable to everything except specific hunks of rock and magic. How do you make a game for a character like that?

Only way I could see his game work is to give him all of his power, but make the environments destructible. If he hurts too many civilians the mission is a failure. Make you think how to fight enemies, like freezing enemies solid, using super strength to force them away from the city, etc.

these two sound awesome, the ability to explore as Terry would round out the game, i got that feeling from the beginning of Arkham City. If too many people see you change into the Batsuit you blow your cover and can no longer explore as Terry, plus you have to do extra missions to save your loved ones.

A good replacement for Riddler Trophies would be challenges/puzzles left by Bruce around the city to make sure his protege was worthy, and artifacts left by the old villains or characters. Finding the penguins original hat and cane in Arkham Asylum was memorable.

So make a Legion of Super Heroes game.

Having elderly Bruce Wayne in a respectable mentorship role really helped cement Terry as an endearing rookie Batman desu.

Because Bruce was never entirely replaced, and they made no attempt to have Terry be as brilliant a detective as Bruce. Instead, Terry relied on his instinct and experience as a low level thug.

For example the new Hush movie fucking ruined the most basic premise the movie had: Hush. There are ways to make the Beyond suit look good "realistically". But metal, circuitry and MUH RIVETS aren't how to do it. Look at how PS4 Spidey did suits like Scarlet Spider, add texture and different materials without breaking up the silhouette.

Just do Arkham city but more emphasizes on the honeycomb look or whatever the new mesh look is now days.

Depends on your tolerance for 80s Frank Miller writing.

Rebirth is definitely worth a read if you liked the cartoon, although personally I'm a bit disappointed with how they've basically given up on fleshing out Terry's rogues gallery in favor of rehashing Bruce's.
