I bought it for 30 bucks and its pretty good. Everyone that says its horrible is probably a switchlet.

It's a game with an absolute fuckload of content of which none of it is interesting to play.
There's a massive open world filled with ace greek mythology and locations and yet I can't play it for longer than 20 minutes before becoming comatose.

parts of this game are clearly designed for you to attempt to skip the hassle of rescuing somebodies goat for the 18th time and for you to buy xp boosts

The new rpg stuff is interesting for maybe a couple of hours but it's pretty shallow and you will inevitably find the thing that works and just abuse it until the end of the game because doing otherwise is just spending more time doing the same thing

Naval combat was better in black flag
Not being pulled out of the game every other minute to be an office dipshit is a big positive
Gear pickups are annoyingly frequent and most all have the same stats and effects

The 40-60 hours spent mucking about getting the main quest done and the cultists dead contains less story than a side quest of most other rpgs

did anyone else play AC from brotherhood onward just for the multiplayer? that shit was fun and had that high skill ceiling. I remember me and a couple bros where like top 20 in the leader boards for black flags multiplayer

Decent time waster on PC really. Otherwise probably not if you’re not into it, I’d recommend origins since it’s more tightly put together and it’s DLC goofy shit wasn’t in the main game.

The problem with Aya or whatever her name was is that while Bayek has a title and actual job where his abilities are why he is a badass, she is just on his level because Ubisoft reasons.

I thought the Atlantis ones were really good, mostly because I'm a fan of Greek history/mythology, but I thought they expanded upon the game nicely.
I didn't play the Hidden Blade ones though, they seemed pretty pointless.

Black Flag is good, but I also really liked Syndicate and Origins. In they end, they are all Ubi games. The first 20+ hours are interesting, then its the same shit over and over until you either finish the game or get tired of it and stop playing.

Get it on PC, it runs at like 20 fps on all consoles.
