I've only played the first two. I remember the first was a basic collectathon while the second was like GTA collectathon and also you need to do these awful minigames but otherwise I liked it. How bad is 3? I heard it made the vehicle focus even worse.

One level makes you fight the same repetitive boss 3 times, you have to fight it in a turret every time.

Interesting. After the Crash remake did so well I always wondered if only Spyro would try to follow it up.

I'm hoping we see more stuff like this, Jak 1 for example deserves a remake. But honestly, Spyro proved that this isn't an easy path made of gold with luscious apples along every tree you pass. You gotta earn it.

And I fear that deep down Ty just doesn't have the power to outshine any of it's tripple-A competitors. Still, prove me wrong.

it's not a remake, just a remaster, which they already kind of did when they ported the games to PC anyways. It's more just a justified port to the switch with a couple new features like costumes

Check out the pc ports , they are really substantial updates, more than just an internal res bump. Ty 2 lets you use all boomerangs, not just the tier 2 ones when you get them, new movement controls for the doomerang. Better camera system, skins, and more. Krome really did a great job on the ports

because the devs update and keep track of most the ports and any issues people have. Like there's a fair amount of options and the Steam forums fairly active.

Remakes is mostly entirely new assets, remasters are just minor changes to the original game like HD textures.
