Yes.

I weep for those who never played the dueling mode for hours with friends.

Is the controls really that great?

Any FPS where you accidentally run into the whole team and have to react in such a way that allows you to survive.
Specific call out to Titanfall 2 in which you jump off of walls while shooting each other and have all types of movement things going on that's so quick.
Fighting games in which you have to be able to predict the next move since you're already highly skilled, so nothing else matters except seeing the future impossibly.
S4 League especially with how you can do tricks and bounces off of surfaces. It's like this except mobile.
All of these games are intense so far.

actually sekiro did it but not many like it

There's a mod for Jedi academy called saber battles, always heard good things

Just play Fallen Order

mustafar was hilarious

In Halo 3 if two players simultaneously swung Energy Swords at each other, the damage would be negated. You could thus have long sword "clashes" as a result.

Mordhau when theres no one else around.

endless parries get pretty silly.

I think porgs were the only good thing from the sequels.

The original ending to RotS' final battle would have been better than the high ground. It'd fit more with how every other lightsaber fight ended on a natural part of the combat.

What was the original ending?

Legit shill thread

Half the time they're not even aiming for the other fighter, they're just clashing sabers for the sake of clashing sabers. It's garbage. Lightsaber battles should look like calculated samurai duels, lethal yet conservative.

Jedi Academy btw, that game is dope and the lightsaber duels actually make sense.

I'm stuck on the Jedha mission. How do I get past the TX-225?

why nobody has made a mordhau/mount and blade lightsaber game with force shit is beyond me

probably because of the lisence

>the console fag recommends this instead of Jedi Outcast

Of course

Some guy on Youtube discovered an animatic of it. After a sequence of Force pushing lava with Obi-Wan jumping on drones, Obi-Wan would jump back on the main flying platform, they'd have a blade clash, and Obi-Wan would duck the final swing and slice through Anakin's knees. Anakin would then fall off the platform and land on the bank of a lava river, then would burn as normal. It'd save us from the baffling four feet of "high" ground and the exchange that stopped the entire fight cold.

God the prequels really does a good job to remind me that Lucas is a terrible writer and director. The only thing he was ever good for was writing checks.

If we ever get a really good Star Wars VR game, for sure. It's a shame so many VR games have piss poor melee combat, but the ones that do it well do amazing.

this was actually a pretty good fightan game desu, and almost all the footage of it online is just people fucking around and mashing without even trying combos

jedi academy is better for overall saber combat though, but they're two fundamentally different games

GI trades in SC2

Obi-Wan's "don't try it!" was good, but the rest of that scene deserves its infamy.

Wow can't believe I never played this one
