OH NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

Yes, good job comparing $200 CPU to overclocked $400 one.

Show the 95 percentile ya faggot. Ryzen have more stable framerates.

I know Ryzen 3900/3950 are about 5-10% behind the i7 and i9.

But the i5 being where it is and the 24% average higher doesn't match ANY other information on these processors.

Oh no no no, AMD fags on suicide watch haha

Already have the noose ready for you hahahaha

w-w-w-what?

p-p-p-posted from my i-i-intel cpu

>twice the price
>25% more performance
WTF is the point of this thread?

post the exploit percentages hahhaa
>intel 100%
>ryzen 2 0%
MOMMY DISABLE MY HYPERTHREADING QUICK

lmao drooling retards, the graph shows a $145 intel cpu winning over $499 ryzen cpu

BASED Intel thinkin' about the consumers and WORKING amdretards into a SEETHING shoot

True I know everyone knows nvidia is the most based bang for your buck company out there.

its an average on a bunch of games, guarenteed the i5 wins in 1 game enough to push the average because retard game devs only program on shilltel

he's mostly using titles that favors intel
besides you can always find videos that show zen2 having better results
it really just depends

Next gen consoles are going to have 8 core 16 thread Zen 2 CPU's in them. You'd have to be plain stupid to buy a 6 core 6 thread CPU right now and expect it to last you.
If you're buying a CPU for gaming and want it to last a while you should get at least one that has 8 cores and 16 threads. Intel or AMD doesn't matter.

/g/ posters don't play games anyway. they just recompile binutils all day

>9700k faster than 9900k
yeah ok

I'm still hype for 3950, mainly for game devvin'

Imagine getting a PC for gaming and not using the absolute best gaming performance hardware you can possibly afford.

I might be upgrading soon, should I not bother with a CPU then as its going to be stupidly expensive?

>CPU for resolution

just download some RAM

Depends what you consider to be stupidly expensive. The i9-9900k is about 500, same with the 3900. 3700 is even less than that. They're kindof expensive, but not stupidly so. You could always wait for the next gen consoles to drop before upgrading. Prices might be better then.

the point is that any system using a 9900k and targeting 1080p is overspecced anyway.

nope, since anything above 1080p is gpu bound
thats why you test cpus on low res

not at all? ...the more you know

example

Systems vary ALOT.
Also, I truly believe some reviewers cater to their audience

the 9700k is 30 dollars cheaper than the 3700x, not trying ot bait or flame.

Those are some giant bars for such small percentages of difference wouldn't you say?

60 fps denied

>DX10

Where? Last time I saw, it was $30 more expensive.

That's why I went with intel for my gaymin' build, it's just better for now and I don't care about muh productivity just like most people so I don't need more cores.
I can easily get between 90 to 200 fps in 1440p and it's amazing.

>5ghz vs 4.2
>lol its 20% faster
yes that would be basic math you lil nematode

So what you're saying is that Intel only has an advantage in pleb-res 1080p that no self-respecting PC owner uses in 2019 anymore anyway?

at mircocenter

>So what you're saying is that Intel only has an advantage
It's not about advantage this or that it's about how cpu and gpu relate to gayming you tech illiterate
>no self-respecting PC owner uses in 2019
over 80% of people still use 1080p you hipsterfaggot

All of this irelevant.. Ayyyymd is close to intel in terms of performance and is cheaper, the only reason im not buying it is becasue i still remember the dumpster fire that was bulldozer

>a 6 core, 6 thread, 2.9ghz base CPU does better in gaming than a overclocked R9 3900X
you shouldn't be laughing, you should be asking what on the software level is causing this obvious flaw of performance, basically "hmm, I wonder what is really holding AMD back instead of their hardware"

Attached: 1 int.png (496x497, 445K)

>why should I spend effort to program this game to properly utilize multiple cores
Dwarf Fortress still runs on 1 core and the game fucking dies eventually due to too much shit happening at the same time, yet the dev still isn't implementing multi core support.

>tfw my gtx 980 from 2014 is still going strong
good purchase

Is an overclocked 9700k the best I'm going to get under $400?
Do I need water cooling for a good overclock or will a big air cooler work fine?
