It's difficult to tell for sure, you can clean them easily with warm water if you are careful, especially when they are high quality ones the paint won't come off easily.
I'm a fag though, so I wouldn't even mind if the deal was good enough

There aren't many decent alternatives for Liquid or Raiden unfortunately. Their faces are a little too dark but I think they look decent in the right lighting.

The Chinese recasts are getting better but generally it's still pretty clear that the quality of the print, sculpting and so on plus the box aren't up to standards. You'll know once you have a bunch of originals.
