Whenever I play Skyrim I get a good idea for a playthrough and play it for an hour and then I get another idea for a play through and my autistic ass gets the impulse to start all over so I basically just do Bleak Falls Barrow over and over again for hours with different characters and it's hellish. I just can't decide on one playstyle they're all fun.

I have over 1k hours and have only finished the game once, the main quest is shit, just mod everything and RP.

Just started up metroid prime the other day. Despite having to aim by standing still and using fucking R instead of the c stick, combat is kind of fun, like tank controls fun. Devs did a good job designing combat around your limitations

I honestly have so many favorite games I don't know which is my most favorite of them all.

I love the Breath of Fire series and I love 5 the most. Tatsuya Yoshikawa is my favorite video game artist of all time, I just love his art style, it was amazing seeing him find his style and improve. Proud collector of all art books with his stuff in them.
I love Digimon games, Digimon World 3, the DS World games, and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth are my favorite.
I love VtM:Bloodlines. My first playthrough was as a Malkavian many years ago and I recently replayed it and I still love Malkavian the most. Such a good game.
I love TES:Oblivion and Skyrim... Modded. Jeremy Soule's music is great, I never get tired of listening to his stuff.
I love SMT games and their spin offs... I also love Persona.
I love RE2Re, it's my most favorite RE game yet. Such a good remake.
DMC5 is 10/10. Easily the best DMC game for me. Tatsuya Yoshikawa worked on it, too, so I love it just a bit more than I should.
Jurassic Park Operation Genesis is my favorite park sim.
I'm a Yoko Taro fan, I like his games a lot, despite nothing except NieR and NieR automata being good gameplay-wise. The music is so good. Keiichi Okabe is amazing. I love Emi Evans' voice.
I love Chrono Trigger, but also Chrono Cross.
My favorite MMO before it turned to shit was S4 League. Such a fun game.

i'm under the assumption that new games generally aren't good and it's basically back to the 70s where 99 out of 100 games are garbage, but the only thing stopping a crash is how volatile and viral advertising marketers have become and how available gaming as a format has become.

Ocarina of Time used to be my favorite game since it was released, but now I just can't bring myself to play it because modern enjoyment of it for me supposedly hinged on the idea that Nintendo would eventually make a zelda game that was just as good if not much better, which is a dream that has been tossed to the wind thanks to modern nintendo being gutter trash and making shit indie-tier games like botw.

I'm really enjoying Fire Emblem Three Houses. It's slow going since I'm only getting an hour or so a day and not every day.
I'm still a little iffy on how much they've padded out growth/character development systems compared to the 3DS titles' relatively straightforward "each character has access to these handful of classes and has some skills." Like if I wasted enough time I could make the speedy girl that's great with a sword and a bow into an armored knight or a mage if I wanted to waste my limited time, but I don't because that's frivolous. It's an option for the sake of there being an option rather than meaningfully interesting.
But it's still fun getting involved in everyone's mini episodes in-between battles and overall it's really solid.
