I got a switch Christmas 2017 and used it up until April 2018, then never played with it again. I left it in my room for a full year before I picked it up again and it didn't work, what the fuck? I also heard that someone's switch stopped working after 1 month of not being used, yet computers from the 70s can work after sitting there for 40 years. Definitely a shit console. I had 3 games (Mario Odyssey was pretty good, but too fucking easy) (Breath of the Wild is too long 20-40 hours and not even get 100%, I quit after getting out of the beginning hub) (Splatoon 2 very boring game especially the singleplayer).

No. The tegra X1 that the switch uses is a Maxwell based chip on a 28nm node. At the time of the switches release Maxwell was well over 3 years old, had been replaced by pascal, and we had gone down to a smaller and more efficient 14nm process.
