I most definitely am, 1800 has 4 player MP like every other Anno* and it is fully featured (e.g. isn't missing the new world like it looked like it might pre-release).

*2205 does not have traditional MP, maybe your friend was confusing the two, but they're not exactly similar, not to mention the several years between the release of the two.

I disagree, 1800 is way more engaging because of the class mechanics, I tried playing 2070 after it and it was much more dull because I had no need to actively control how many of my citizens are at each level.

There was a glitch where scrap you found can be sold for millions or something. IIRC the nice ones sold for like 9700/ton while special ones go for 27k or so.
