I bought an HDD drive with PT on it and sadly i didnt have a ps4 when it was available. So here's what I plan to do when it comes it

The first plan is to use that internal hard drive, buy an enclosure. Therefore turning it into an external hard drive. Considering it's a ps4. It should have no problem recognizing that it is one and possibility restore pt on my ps4

The second plan is to initialize my ps4 back to factory setting, remove the hdd on it and use switch it. The buyer said it has the latest firmware so it should be possible to get around that no problem

Pretty sure you can't just stick a hard drive into a PS4 and just have it work. Even if it came straight out of another PS4. I've had to change hard drives numerous times, and when you stick a hard drive in, it needs to have nothing but an the correct update, or something.

If it's somebodies else's install of the game, the data is 100% useless. It's encrypted for the specific PS4 it was pulled out of.
If you want to keep a useless backup of PT, just use Psnstuff and fucking download its pkg
